👤I have an old pair of boots. The 5 year old pair are very comfortable all day on the concrete floor. The old pair have stayed together despite a few quick-lace failures. They were made in Vietnam. The same size and style were made in China. The inside of by heels began to burn after less than an hour. The Chinese model of the shoe was more narrow than the old one, and it explains the smaller upper. If you want to maintain your reputation, outsourcing to the cheapest manufacturer isn't always the best option. There's a wally world on every corner, the same boot at half price, minus the label. They cut that corner too, but they didn't put any stitching in the tongue. Anything to save a buck. Disappointed...
👤I needed a pair of hiking boots to replace the boots that were only 1 1/2 years old but lost their waterproofness in the first six months and almost broke my skin when a weed stalker went through the side of the field. I was getting tired of replacing the second pair of Keene's that had gone bad and they were at $130. I started looking at reviews and found these. They have a large toe box. I put a coat of oil on them after taking them out. I knew they would take a break. I have about three or four miles of walking through the fields and they seem to be breaking in quickly. I put on about 700 miles a year. If you are looking for hiking boots that will give you good ankle support, look elsewhere. These are for easy hiking. I put in a pair of Dr. Scholls first to make them comfortable. I will give an update in three or four months if I remember correctly. I have had a chance to wear these for a while, including the recent snow storm and frigid temperatures. We got 5” of snow this morning, and we are 4 or 5 degrees with a wind chill of -8. My feet have stayed warm and dry on a 25 to 35 minute period, because I had been wearing wool socks. Walk through the fields. I decided to try summer cotton socks because of the cold and snow. I am a 70 year old with diabetes and it affects circulation so I am sensitive to cold and heat. Even in the snow and cold, I walk 3 miles a day with my dog. The results of a 20 minute walk were warm and dry. Harley was getting snow turning to ice between her toes every few minutes. We would have to stop. I would have to remove it. When I received these boots, I put my Dr. Scholls insoles from my previous pair in, rubbed them in with a coat of oil, and started walking. I have found them to be more comfortable than the Keens. I wore it previously. I don't walk as much as a lot of people, but they're doing well for me for field and neighborhood walking. If you want a pair of boots to wear, every day, and forget when you take them off, look elsewhere. These are leather and need a lot of care. If they get wet, don't wear them the next day. When I get soaked in the rain with my dog, I wipe them clean with an old towel, put shoe trees in them to keep the leather from Shrinking, and set them aside where there is a flow of air to let them air. You will ruin the leather if you try and dry them with hot air. It seems to work if you put them a few feet away from the fan. I keep an old pair that I use while they are drying. After they have dried completely, I retreat every inch of leather, paying particular attention to the seams and around the grommets, and then let it sit and dry. Is the pain above? You need to take care of these boots, not let them get muddy and wet, and toss them in the corner for the next day. The boots were a good buy for the money and I have had them for a year. I will repeat a few of the points I made before. 1. They are not waterproof in any way. 2. Do not leave them in a dark hallway if you get soaked. They will be ruined if you do that. They should be put on a towel in front of a fan. If you place them on a heated surface or someplace where hot air blows on them, they will ruin the leather. 3. Once dry, polish your boots. I put a match to the polish in the can and let it flame and liquify, then take a rag and dip it into the liquid polish and rub it into the leather. I rubbed the polish in with a cloth and then used a brush to buff it to a shine. If you wear leather hiking boots and walk through wet fields you should take care of the leather because it takes time and effort. I don't wear these two days in a row in wet weather. If you are looking for that type of boot, you will be looking at three times the price.

👤We traveled from the mountains of NC to the OBX of NC and back. We had a 3 piece wheeled luggage set with two other large bags and 2 body boards. This thing was loaded full but not too full. We could have filled it up with soft items, like deflated inflatables or pillows. I didn't want to push it. It's easy to install on a hard top car. The bags should be clear of debris on the bottom and the car should be washed to prevent scratching. Before throwing the car on it's side, unZIP the back. Then put the product in the bag and zip it up. You can loop the ties through the buckles and then the car stripping with the doors open. Before you tighten the straps, close the door. Once the door is closed, tighten it down. The strap won't come off the stripping when you open the door. If you tighten it with the door open, the hook could loosen and cause injury to your face or stripping. There are hints: 1) This will increase your fuel use. I noticed that my car was getting more mileage with this than I normally do, and I was able to save money. There are two more The front seats of your car have wind in them. We used gorilla tape on the interior of the stripping and it was not bad. When you make a pit stop, you will have to put the tape back on. Duck does not have the same thickness as gorilla. We stopped at Dollar General for gorilla. We had to pack for both the summer and winter because we were in NC, but this was a life saver because we only had to drive for 7 hours to get to the beach. While on the banks, we packed our beach gear and other items in the trunk, so that we had everything at hand. A Northeaster and Gulf Stream depression hit the coast for 3 days and turned into a tropical storm which sent 25 foot waves over the dunes onto the only highway we were driving on. The bag was covered in sand and salty ocean water for days. During the worst of the storm, my car was hydroplaned onto my door as we drove through high standing water. There was no item in the bag that was wet. Not one. The towels were not wet from the dryer. I was surprised. The thing was battle tested. I left the bag on top of my car when the rain was sideways and not phased at all. I was amazed by the quality of the bag. I was not paid to give a review.
👤We loaded up for our trip from Florida to Tennessee after I was impressed by the thickness of the material. We went through a lot of rain, but everything worked out. It held up well and did not leak. We loaded up for our trip home after our vacation. All was good. The material did not hold up well when we took out our luggage. The carrier was fully secured, did not move, and was not rubbing on anything. It was not over stuffed because it was about 75% filled. It flapped in the wind because it was not empty. It did not hold up well, but I am not sure why it ripped and wore so badly. I'm stuck with it because it has a short window for returns.
You can give this tackle bag with boxes to your husband or children as a gift. Little kids love to ride their bike with a waterproof tackle bag. If you get this for your husband, you will get brownie points. It's more practical than a fishing gear box. At all hours, fish is available. The backpack has an integrated light system that allows for fishing from dusk to dawn. Wild River's tackle backpack has a rain cover that can be quickly deployed to keep your bag contents safe. The Wild River fishing backpack has mesh pockets for easy content viewing and a clear internal pocket to keep your maps, licenses, and phone visible but dry. The tackle backpack has up to four 3500 style trays and two 3600 style trays to accommodate all of your storage needs. Quick tool access. Your pliers are easy to find if you have a pliers holder that goes from bag to belt. The backpack has a steel cable lanyard for small tools. There is a weather proof. It is possible to quickly deploy a rain cover to keep your bag contents safe.
👤This thing is great. It's well made and has pockets for everything. It's light and durable. Get this - it floats! I dropped mine off on the side of the dock, thinking it was a goner, but it was actually floating! If you plan on using larger tackle cases, you might want to go to the next size up, otherwise you might have to leave a few plugs behind that you don't use often. I got everything I needed. The top compartment has a lot of stuff in it. The side plastic mesh pockets are so tight that there's no way to store a water bottle there so those are only really good for extra things that you can squeeze in there securely. The outside bag has a plier holder. I plan on getting the same bag for my brother in law soon, and you won't regret buying it!
👤The build quality was not good, so I returned it. It had a lot of stitching that was loose. There are some quality control issues that need to be fixed, the material seemed very durable and the size was just fine. If you want a high end fishing pack, look at the Mayhem bag. It is the best available.
👤I was very disappointed in the size, I was responsible for getting it without double checking, but I was looking at larger ones and this one came up. I assumed it was still the large size because of the price. It seems very well built, and the light should be useful, but it isn't going to hold all my gear. I tried to return it but it was non returnable and I had to call Amazon and they made it right. I'm not sure how many stars to give it.
👤Well thought out design and materials. I own many bags and boxes. This is my favorite bag. If you want to haul all of your gear for fishing, this isn't for you. This is perfect if you are like me and only bring what you will be fishing for. It's better than I thought and you can tell someone designed it. I put the baits on top of the storage box since I use zip lock bags. I might swap out the trays for ones that have bigger compartments. It's perfect for my use. Highly recommended!
👤My adult son is an avid fisherman. We looked at a lot of places to find the best bag you can buy. I looked at the pockets and compartments to see how much space it had. My son and I were completely impressed by the bag. I don't think you will find a better bag for the price. This was thought out when it was designed, so that it could be used in 2 different places. The bag is very well made. I highly recommend this bag, even if it is a gift for the fisherman in your life.
👤When I took it out of the box, I thought it was small. I'm not opposed to a small bag, I think it holds everything I need very efficiently, and I mostly just trout fish. The light on the front was a bit loose but not bad. The boxes that came with it only had 4 dividers. I haven't taken it out yet, so these are only my initial impressions. These things are not dealbreakers. I'm very pleased with how everything fits inside. I will field test it.
Water-resistant and resilience: The nylon fabrics are made with high-end equipment to ensure its safety. The KAM buckle and SBS zippers are more durable than the competitors. It is adjusted and restrained. Two left/right shoulder straps can be exchanged. The main strap can be extended up to 51.2'', while the associate strap can be extended to 36.2''. It can be used as a backpack, handbag, chest bag, fishing tackle bag, travelling bag, shoulder bag, and so on. Two rod belts hold your rods. The main compartment of the multi-functional bag has a dimensions of almost eight feet. It is convenient to have a place to keep the items you need in your life. Unique innovative design. The humanized reflective sticker helps you be safe. The user feels very comfortable with the overall design of the shoulder strap and mesh. There are multiple storage condominiums and accessory pockets. The main pocket has 3 components that help clarify your stuff. You can store your daily necessities in 3 external pockets. The left pocket has the water cup/bottle and the right pocket has the tools. It is fashionable and durable for both adults and kids. It is the best choice for outdoor life enthusiasts.
👤The bag is of good quality. There is a size listed on the product page. It is a good size and holds the necessary items for fishing on the bank. The purpose of having a nice, compact bag is being defeated by a full size back pack. I had to make a prioritized list of the items to put in it. I would recommend this bag to anyone who uses it for an outing. Load it with the items you need. The kitchen sink is not going to be held. That is not the purpose. The pictures posted by other customers are not the actual bag you are buying. There is no way to close the large compartment on the bag. The pictures on the page are correct. The bag I received is attached to four pictures.
👤I wanted to downsize my tackle bag a bit for when I am just walking along a bank fishing in the park, and this one fits the bill. The Plano 3650 boxes were in the main compartment. There is a The side has space to hold 2 pliers, and the bottom holds a fish holder. There is a The small pouch on top is perfect for a spray can. There is a There are many bags of soft plastic bait crammed into the front pouch. I would like to say something around 14. I need to thin those down but there are so many different things to throw. There is a nice spot on the side to hold a water bottle, haven't done it yet, but it sure looks like it will do the trick. If you want to have a million things dangling off every which way, I am sure you could accomplish that with the extra straps and attachment options I pulled off. If you feel like there isn't enough bags in your life, you can stack bags on bags with the MOLLE grid on the front. I will probably buy more of these in the future if the components don't give out too quickly as I beat on them.
👤This is the first part of my review, I will follow it up in the spring. I have nerve damage. I see things differently now. Since I was a boy, I have fished many places. I use a cane, which is like having an unwieldy third leg, and I also have a pole and tackle box, so I can cross a parking lot with ease. It can be dangerous for pets and friends. So far... I have found enough pockets for all of the gear. The plan is to get better fishing at local rivers. I should make it farther with the pack and cane. When I saw this product, I almost felt like I had to click it to get it to slide into place, but I found someone else did a better job. I hope to get feedback soon.
👤I started using the bag after receiving it. I've been searching for a fly fishing rod that is waterproof and can hold all of my heart. This thing has more storage than the previous ones. I can carry a lot of flies because it is capable of holding larger boxes. I carry a lot of stuff and there are more than I need. It has loops and clasps that I can use to reach my nips, floatant and tippet. I'm not constantly adjusting it because the straps keep it secure. It should last a long time because it was put together well. I got my flies wet and rusted last year. I don't have that worry with this bag. The bag is worth three times the price.
Do not put the kayak in the water in 48 hours. The chair has a backpack. The backpack stool is easy to carry and hold 331 lbs. Wherever you go, you'll always have a stylish fishing seat. It's convenient for outdoor activities. The separated pockets are great for holding things like a bottle, umbrella, key, wallet, watch, power bank, mp3 and any other small items. This fishing chair has a cooler bag that keeps your food and drinks cool. You will always have a seat for rest and drinks. High quality and durable. The bagpack has a lightweight seat with a comfortable shoulder strap and is made of high quality fabric. You can use it as a gift for men. They will do everything they can to make you happy with your purchase. This is the best choice.
👤The product is not executed well. They used the cheapest zippers they could find. I am familiar with the zippers. They will have to be used with care or they will separate. I would like the zippers to be a bit higher quality. I will use kid gloves to treat this product. The same thing happens when you buy a set of bedsheets, they come in a plastic container. The seat is falling apart after one use. I am not a heavy load because I weigh 180 lbs. I would look for something better. Don't buy, keep looking. Bill.
👤It was nice to be able to carry everything when hunting. It was not as comfortable to sit on as expected. A large person wouldn't be comfortable sitting on a seat that wasn't big.
👤I need something light-weight and easy to carry when hiking. When I need to sit down, I slip off my back. I weigh 170 lbs. and am very sturdy. It's great to carry bottled water, snacks or other necessities. If you're looking for comfort and a larger seat, you won't like it. I only take a break when I want to eat a snack or take a low angle shot. I love this item and wish I had discovered it sooner.
👤I bought this for work and it has held up for a month so far so good, but some of the stitching has come undone near the top and 2 plastic feet have come off and are lost, but the zipper is still working fine, as far as I know. It's nice to be able to sit down on a clean, sturdy surface and enjoy a bite to eat and a cool drink just about anywhere, it carries nicely, even packed with all my drinks (6 cans/bottles) and snacks and lunch meal, which I'd say I would buy it again, but I think it's best for a lighter duty application, like camping.
👤I liked the design and size. The materials are of the lowest quality. The metal broke in half because of the rust on the bottom. The stitching loosened after 3 uses. The bag is unclosable because the zippers snapped and fell apart. I wish I could show you how bad this bag was. The bag became useless in December of 2018). Not a full year of use. O stars.
👤It's great for fishing. It has an insulated cooler underneath that can hold drinks, a meal, or several snacks. You can wear food on your back like a backpack. When not in use, it has padded straps that keep it in a pocket. It has a small zip up pouch and an open pouch large enough for a water bottle in the front. It feels like it when you sit on it. I like having everything in one place. I like having drinks with me while I'm fishing. Is it possible to store it in a zip up bag with a handle, so it can be used when not in use.

There are two side pockets for rod storage. You can have a convenient weekend adventure with thicker padded back support and padded shoulder straps. They offer an 18 month warranty. They must feedback you in 24 hours and do more than you are happy with.
👤It is really nice. What I was looking for.
👤The bag is large and you can use it as a sling or backpack. I bought it for fly fishing. The stitching on the main zip up came loose after a few uses. The rest of the stitching seems to be holding up, so I am hopeful that I was just unlucky.
👤Les sangles de se serre pas assez.
There are 2 smaller compartments in the main storage compartment for organizing your gear, and 3 external pockets for storing your daily items with quick access. There is a left and right pocket for water cup/bottle and tools. Two rod belts on the side and a patched belt on the bottom are used for fishing rod storage. This backpack is used for fishing tackle. It's also perfect for hiking, camping, shopping, sight-seeing, travel, and so on.
👤Update 10/30/ 2020. It was fun while it lasted, but it is falling apart now that the strap is torn off, so it is going to give it an update. If you use 2 to 3 times a week, you will get a year. It was a good backpack. I would hope for a complete year or 2 but not a full year. Has faded in color. I am blown away by the quality of the material and the zippers. The plastic compartments are very strong. I haven't taken it out yet. I have no doubts that it can handle what I will be throwing at it. It is highly recommended for ant fisherman or woman.
👤I've read the reviews and know that the bag has an issue. I thought I'd be careful with mine. I filled one of the trays with lures and the other with hooks and took it with me. I usually bring two drinks, a pair of line clippers, and an empty jar. I have never gotten a hook stuck in it's material, and I never cast it on. I baby this thing, and it ripped at the inside of the main compartment. There is a The backpack would be amazing if not for the rip. It fits everything I need. It's odd how durable the outside of this bag is, it's just the sewing on the inside. There is a It's not worth it for the price. I really did love this bag.
👤It's Christmas and you have to put it in a box. I love having my kids Christmas presents with a picture of the contents on the porch for them to see. This time of year, the package does not tell what it is, but it does tell you what it is. There is no idea of quality in the box. I'm not happy.
👤The thing fits everything I need to bring to the beach. There's a compartment for my jacket in case it gets hot. The rod holder's slit is very good. Highly recommended. Their trays are cheap and fit perfectly. Make sure you pick that option. The top compartment tore after a while. It can be difficult to hold a squeezy. The backpack is not strong enough to stand alone. The design causes it to be backward. It was worth it for light fishing. If you like fishing, you should get good at sewing.
👤I bought this for my husband so he wouldn't have to carry his fishing poles and gear to the water and still be able to climb up and down the hills more safely. He likes it. The size is great, not too big or small, and the quality is nice. The tackle boxes that come with it are a plus, but they are not deep enough to hold jars of power bait when they are laying on their sides. He used one of the packs pockets for the jars. He liked the waterbottle holder in the pack.
👤I gave this item 5 stars for its quality. You get 4 tackle box trays and two rod holders for the price of this item. I use this as my surf fishing tackle bag so that I can carry it down the beach with no issues. It has a lot of space for me. I like how I can section off the top and use it for my tools. There are enough pockets for my glasses. I attached a carabiner to hold my baits. The bag is durable and quality. An amazing giftable item.
The fishing bag is durable and fashionable. Double rod pockets offer a secure method to transport your rod or combo. Simply place the rod butt or the second section of a 2 piece rod in the pocket and secure it with bungee loops. Attachment points for tools are provided by Integrated D-rings. The KastKing Day Tripper backpack and tackle storage system are very durable and functional.
👤The products design was wonderful and surprised me with pockets and places to organize. I used this product for three days. It wasn't being used to full potential and the parts started to break. Very upset with this. I have a back pack that I have used for over a decade and it is perfect.
👤I've seen a lot of tackle bags, but this is the best one I've seen. I love the fact that there are more pockets for tackle, camera gear, and other items. The thick pads that go against your back are very cushiony. It's a good thing. The shoulder adjustments help you find the perfect fit when carrying a backpack. I could go on and on. I highly recommend this backpack for pond fishing, hiking with tackle and gear, or anything you want in it.
👤The backpack is awesome. Your money is worth it. It is like a regular backpack with all the bells and whistles. Everything was put inside this bag. There is still room for more stuff. The backpack gets the job done. I have gone on hiking and camping trips and have not had any issues with the materials. It is helpful with water, food, fishing materials, valuables, and other accessories. There are no tackle boxes anymore. The sides to secure fishing poles is even better. Everything you want to stay dry is secure. My hands are free to help carry other items or help my children over terrain without having to worry about where everything is. My kids love carrying it. The waist straps help if needed. It's made for rugged wear or for fishing at the lake.
👤I bought this because I wanted to ditch my tackle box and have a more convenient fishing experience, but it's more of a hassle than convenience. I was very disappointed with this backpack. It's very small than it looks. There is not enough space on the backpack to hold all of the items. There is no easy way to get inside the backpack. The design of the zipper is the worst I have ever come in contact with. 99% of the time, it gets stuck on the over-flaps when you want to zip or open the bag. The corner of the bag has no extra storage or compartments, which makes no sense to me. I assumed that fitting a fishing pole in the side of the backpack would be a hassle. It can't hold a small bottle of water. Theremovable bottom is not zip-up, which is unfortunate. The straps in the front are unnecessary since the backpack is small. Unless you plan to load the backpack with 50 lbs of dumbells, it's not going to fall off or go anywhere because it's too small. The straps are pointless because of this. The front storage flaps can't hold more than what a standard sweatshirt hoodie can hold. I was expecting more for the price. Very disappointed.
👤The Day Tripper backpack is a treat. I brought a lot of gear. Extra layers include food, drink, tackle and a few more. There was fresh snow and a cold day in Massachusetts. The bottom straps hold the backpack in place. It is hard to even notice it. You need to grab it if you don't have it yet. I will get one for freshwater and one for salt. This would be a great Christmas gift for anyone. Innovative at its best. #kastking

The main compartment is full of stuff. There are multiple rod tube/water bottle pockets. Add your water pouch. The dimensions are 19 x 12 x 2. Heavy-duty construction. Attachable chest vest is not included.
👤Over the last 20 years I've acquired at least 15 backpacks from companies like Camelbak, Cabelas and Dueter and have used them to hike, bike, hunt and fish in many states across the country. I've seen some good and bad packs. The idea behind this pack is to carry your fishing gear, tackle, and water with you, as well as an additional purchase of a bladder. It's a real miss on execution and here's why. The pack needs a strap around the waist and a strap around the chest to help distribute the weight in the pack, rather than just hanging from your shoulders. When you put a bladder in the pack, it's particularly important. There are two more The pack is heavier than other packs it's size here in my possession. It adds up during a long day. Air can flow between the pack and your back to help cool you off if you add molded padding. You have to affix the chest pack upper buckles over the backpack chest strap to add the Bear Creek Micro chest pack, but you can't affix the lower straps to the backpack. You have to use the waist straps from the chest pack around your waist, which are uncomfortable at only one inch wide, they tend to dig in to your waist, and now you have to remove 3 straps to get out. To make this a great pack, you have to shed some weight. The strap in the front is called a lumbar strap. It will add comfort, support and stability when bending over. Adding padding to the strap for comfort and a small pocket on the outside of it for more storage will make it easy to access without removing the backpack. The backpack/chest pack should be modified to fully integrate into each other, as it seems like an afterthought that only partially works and is very cumbersome to remove. The backpack should have a low profile hydration bag that sits low in the pack to lower the center of gravity and increase stability when walking on rocky shorelines. 6) Give us a hydration hose outlet on both sides, so we can choose which side to use. This pack appears to have good construction, well thought out dividers and partition that would work well for a day of hiking into your fishing spot and taking advantage of what nature has to offer. It should hold up well during use. I am going back because this pack is a miss. If they make some changes to the pack, I will be the first in line to buy it.
👤How often do you have to hike miles to some mountain stream for a fishing excursion and need to pack the kitchen sink? Not very often. This is your backpack if you do. I say "backpack" because it is not a sling, but more on that in a moment. This deserves 5 stars as a fly fishing backpack. It has everything you could want in a backpack. The extendable tube pockets that work, storage to spare, a place for a hydration bladder, and the fact that you can clip your Allen chest pack to the front or back is ingenious. The build and quality of the Allen product are top-notch with heavy-duty zippers and tactical ripstop fabric. There is a "convertible sling pack" feature. If you want a sling, buy one that isn't one. It's too large to be a large sling. It is not possible to get it to wear a sling. If you tuck in the other shoulder strap, the pack's edge will peel away from your body and hit you in the back. If you put one strap on and leave the other clipped to the side, it works better, but you still have the top or bottom part sticking out and hitting your arm every time you move. The tradeoff is that you can do the sling move, but not the pouch. If you're going to wear this while you fish, make sure the water isn't above your butt or you're going to soak your rod tube and possibly the bottom of the pack. If you want to be geared to the nines, or just want a do-everyting fishing backpack, then buy this in a heartbeat.
Bass, trout, Walleye, Northern pike and Salmon are all deadly. It was designed for Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, and Father's Day. The overview is about what happened. It's easy to get your fishing gear to your favorite spot because of its durable, waterproof, light, and convenient qualities. The dimensions are L 15.7" x W 9.6" x H 18.7". There are a lot of stories. There is a padded top storage compartment, five 3600 size tackle trays, and 18 compartment tackle trays to fulfill your organization and storage needs. This fishing gear roller is made to be tough and will help keep your fishing gear in great condition. It's easy to carry a rolling tackle box with the shoulder strap and the handle extended. 4 rod holders make it easy to get everything you need to go in one shot and keep your fishing rods in great condition. 4 rod holders make it easy to get everything you need to go in one shot and keep your fishing rods in great condition.
👤Just wow. The bag is of the highest quality. It feels like I got my money's worth. You can choose what size of storage you want for your fishing gear, the compartments have little dividers. I don't know if you can see in the picture, but the top compartment's dividers are made of velcro and can be adjusted. You can put your name on the bag if it gets lost, because it has an identification slot on the top. You can transport it in 3 different ways. I didn't know it had it until I got it. I haven't tested the poles yet, but I'll let the person who bought them try them out. Will let you know. I still think this is a very high quality tackle box.
👤The box was waiting for me and I was very excited. An avid ocean fisherman, I was looking for a rolling tackle box that could handle both bottom fishing and tuna gear. The Elkton is short. The slide in storage boxes can't handle larger lures like the Rapalas for tuna. It will work for an overnight offshore trip but you have to carry extra bags for larger reels, lures, and jigs. The Elkton looks well built. The 4 rod carriers are a plus. It would work well for freshwater bays and estuary trips, but not where things like tarpon, snook, permit are present. Will be going out on an overnighter soon and will report on how the Elkton was able to cope. I have some "humble pie" to eat. I put the contents of my bag in the Elkton. 99% of it fit. The bag was not able to fit the lures. The top compartment might be able to hold a few such lures. It's a plus in my book. I took my first trip with the Elkton. I am very pleased with the layout and design. Everything I needed for my trip is in the pullout box compartment. The top compartment was large enough to hold my fishing gear. A good but.
👤The wheels are too small and don't move. Why don't we make a heavy duty transportation system with big, meaty wheels? I want to figure out how to put the new rubber on so it can go over terrain. It is relatively small. A fisherman that has a lot of tackle wants something that will transport his gear. I don't want to have to sacrifice some items because it's not tall enough for tackle organizers. I will give it the nice material from it. The rod holders have enough depth, but the reel handles don't have a slit, so rods with shorter butt-ends will shift around and lean out at an angle.
👤Standard trays don't fit in there for changing out tackle for different things. The top and bottom trays are very difficult to get out of the bag as the corners of the openings trap them. It could be 10% larger. It's built like a tank from materials that are very strong. The roller feature is awesome and it's very well constructed. The amount of storage on it is not adequate. I have a Plano guide series bag that is so useful that I only have to put my surf and fishing gear in another box, and it's so useful that I store all of my freshwater gear in it. I ordered this thinking it would be more storage than it is, but I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for. It's kind of an expensive bag for that, but I might use it to store my surf and troll gear. Design misses the mark because of the quality and materials.
It is transparent for easy identification of contents. It is a general daypack, which can be used for both men and women, and it is suitable for different people. You can make the backpack different with different pouch, and an american flag patch can be removed. The main compartment can hold clothes, the middle compartment can hold a flat plate, and the front compartment can hold a cell phone wallet. There is plenty of room for a lot of stuff and separate compartments. The side of the backpack has a water bottle mesh pocket, which is convenient for you to drink water in outdoor activities. There are two hooks on the strap of the bag. The walkie-talkie bag shown in the picture is not included. The walkie-talkie is convenient to use. The tactical backpack can fit their body better with additional straps around the chest and waist, and a chest belt that can be adjusted to carry more comfort. The backpack can be expanded with a zip on the side. The maximum packet capacity can be reached if the side thickness is switched between 8 and 13 and the backpack is water resistant.
👤The backpack had a divider between the two compartments that wasn't sewn right. The cloth does not seem to have been ripped, but the sewing machine missed the fabric. There wasn't enough fabric in the seam to catch the thread. The opening is large enough to allow items to slip from one compartment to another. It looks like it was just sloppy work putting it together. I don't recommend this backpack.
👤So far, so good. I noticed that I got more bag than I thought. There were two small pouch that were clipped to the shoulder straps. I didn't notice them in any of the product pictures. The back of the bag has a large storage area accessible from it. The part against your back is held firmly in place with the help of Velcro. My main goal with this bag was to eliminate the need for checked luggage when traveling, and I can tell you I will have plenty of space for all my needs. The straps in the main compartment were unexpected and appreciated. The bag I own is similar to the one I have owned. There is a clip attached to one compartment that could be used as a quick-release for keys. The main compartment has holes in it so you can lock them closed. I haven't actually traveled with the bag yet, so I'm 4 stars for now. I will update after my first successful trip. The bag is holding up very well, so it was added a fifth star.
👤The bag expands to a larger size and fits in overhead bins when not overstuffed. I flew to Amsterdam, took a number of trains up the UK and back, and then went on a road trip through Belgium and France, and it all took care of itself. Some of the tactical loops were unnecessary for me, but they didn't get in the way. It was nice to take off the hiking straps and other things that are not replaceable. I'm very happy I bought it. Not a plain black suitcase like everyone else and had enough pockets to keep things organized. I stuffed it full and the airlines made me check it out because it was a full flight and I got it without any problems. Love it.
👤Terrible, cheap and nasty. It was a total waste of money, it was not water proof, it was poor stitching, it was not impact padding, and it was not good compared to other bags I've had. VELCRO is missing. I did not want my color to be olive green, so I chose grey. This is a piece of garbage, just more Chinese C**p... I don't advise you to spend your money on this product.
👤The expansion makes it possible for this to accommodate a lot of stuff. The chest strap is used to keep a heavy load stable. There are pockets of different shapes and sizes. When I was caught in a cloud, the clothing, book, and cell phone inside stayed dry. I am not a typical user. I don't do serious hiking. I am a senior citizen with two bad knees, but I get around with two canes. I use this to carry wet beach towels, water bottle, water shoes, sun block, and other things.
