The softshell pants inner layer is made of warm polar fleece and it keeps you warm in the winter and cold in the summer. The soft shell surface layer is made of fabric that blocks the cold air. The outer and inner parts of the body are important for keeping the body warm during the winter. 👤I ordered a 32x30 thinking it was in the US, but it was 32UK. It felt like a 28 when I put it on. I also bought it during a lightning deal. I'm disappointed. Definitely coming back. I was sent a new pair of pants by Free Soldier, but I asked for 34x30 just to be sure, since it has a elastic waist that can expand or tighten. I hiked up Mt. Baldy, CA. The weather was cold and windy. The wind was so strong that it reached 70mph in the mountains. The pants kept me warm, but I got cold when the wind kicked up. I was very happy with the performance. I was warm even after sliding on my butt.
👤I've been working in Maine for a long time. I snowshoe in the western mountains of Maine. I have been looking for pants that are woods-friendly for years. First Solider is a really cheap brand of soft shell pants that I finally learned to search for. A smooth finish soft shell, wind-proof, water resistant, fleece lined pants is less than $40. You get good movement when the material stretches. The fit is relaxed which allows for long underwear. I think they are good to 30 degrees without long underwear and 0 degrees with it. There are no drawbacks yet.
👤I searched for pants before buying them. The fit was good and the fabric was strong. I used these pants for hiking in the rain and mist and they repelled the water beautifully. I damaged them below the left knee. The surface layer was damaged, but not really noticeable, and I anticipate many more uses of them. They are light-weight and comfortable, perfect for travel and easy to pack. I would buy these again.
👤The water performed very well after I tested these pants. The water repeallanty diminished after washings. The rain made my pants wet. I can't find a better choice for water or warmth. It is a suggestion to increase flexibility and remove the zippers. Excellent choice in the initial review. Warmth + Water repeallant shell works! The soft shell appearance and belt loops are nice. There are no back pockets or cargo pockets. I will buy new pants as they need to be hemed. I was interested in the coat because of how much I like the pants. I have put these pants with either a New Balance jacket or a Swiss jacket. I may have to look at more FreeSoldier coat gear if I want to do laboring because both are not as good as the pants. I like the jacket but it's not available in xlarge/black B076HLZ7M9. Please replenish.
👤These pants don't stop me from climbing over logs and boulders. Even with thermals under them. Huge deal with me. After a few hours, fighting that bind can wear me out. I would love to have these working construction. They do a great job of keeping the wind out of my face. I could feel a little coolness but it wasn't very noticeable. The next backpacking fishing trip was prevented by long johns. It's not an issue. Water RESISTANT performed very well in the rain. It was a surprise for the low price. I've used rain pants but the noise they produce is insane, and this material is ideal for hiking and fishing. There is a If I had to find a flaw, it would be the size of the zippers. They are short for my large hands. The weather and temperatures change quickly and they didn't get warm until near 50. They are breathing well. There is a I ordered a second pair after a few field trips. I am very pleased with the pants. I've spent more and gotten less. I can't say how long they will last. These pants are winners in every category. During my holidays in the Az mountains, I will have a Mountain expedition. They will perform in those extremes.
A lightweight, low bulk garment has 85 grams of ThermaTech insulation. The seat, knees, and Friction guards are reinforced to hold up against daily wear and tear. It is easy to put on and off the boot zip. The D-ring is convenient. A seamless integration with boots is formed by boot gisters with grips.
👤I like to wait before giving a review. Time can show its flaws or make something stand out. There is a lot of upside to buying these. They are easy to maintain and comfortable. They will keep you warm. I ordered a bigger size for myself. This product has only one downside. I may have bought one size larger. One of the leg zippers has broken and the cuffs are getting frayed. If you buy a pair, you should add some tougher material to the bottom of the legs to reinforce the cuffs. The only problems I have had with them are the broken ones. It's worth it to be comfortable in the cold. I work in the propane industry. I got a spray on my arm and chest this past week because propane is a negative 44 degrees. My bibs were cold. It took me a bit to evaluate the extent of my injury, I was in shock at the moment. The only place where my skin froze was under four layers of clothing that were not covered by this suit. Wow. Thanks to these, I'm doing great, even though I burned my arm.
👤I had to replace my bottoms as I cut firewood in 3-4 feet of snow. These are warm, tough, and sitting down working on equipment in the snow for hours or sitting in a cold wet tractor seat in a snowstorm, they never get wet. I am comparing these to top end GoreTex and they are coming out on top. The cuff patch on the inside of the right foot has started coming off after three tries. These have been used for sitting in a tractor seat and using a snowblower, and the stitching is coming out already! * The seller has a new pair on the way. It's nice to see a company stand behind their products. 5 would be for initial failure. My ass was soaked and freezing when I sat on a tractor to plow snow. This is not "waterproof" or even resistant. The photo shows them soaking through almost immediately.
👤These fit well and are comfortable. The quality of these is very good. They are warm. I only need a hoodie in 25 degrees. The large fits well with normal pants under, I am 5' 10” with a 32” inseam and 190 lbs. If you are going to wear a lot of clothing. I am very happy with the size of the large. Downgraded to 1 star on January 10, 2021. I noticed a few seams pulling apart after 6 uses. These are expensive items and should not have seams pulling apart. I would have expected a decade of use from an item like this, given my light usage.
👤I rolled the dice and won, because I was really nervous buying these at half the price. My family and I enjoyed our recent ski trip. They asked me the price. I didn't need any of my under garments to keep warm because I had pockets, pockets, pockets. I wore my Arctix Bib and matching Tundra jacket on the first day and then on the second. I'm usually good at finding the negatives in things, but I could complain that they weren't free.
The waterproof pants have a quick-dry lining. Helly Tech Protection. It is waterproof, windproof and breathable. 2 ply construction.
👤I love the Dubliner jacket, so I wanted to love these as well. They seem just as good, but they were too tight around my rain boots. I'm not sure why anyone would make rain pants without a boot cut. They have to assume that people will wear waterproof boots and pants. They would have been perfect if they were an inch wider. Returned.
👤I like rain gear that's a little more loose, it's a little weird around the crotch and front of the legs.
👤It was bought for a man off the website and arrived as men's. I weigh 330 lbs. And 57in. Around the hips. This fit is perfect. I usually wear 2X. There is enough room around the knee's for good flexability, and there is a mesh liner to keep the air space between you and the pants. These pant's are very comfortable.
👤It's a perfect fit if you add the matching jacket to it.
👤I had to return them because they are small. They were never tried in the rain.
👤My son loves them, it's a perfect gift.
👤It was terrific. It was dry as a bone on long runs in the rain.
👤Strange fit. It is as if the back half of the pant were sewed together. There is a pocket in the front that should be on the right butt check. They didn't buy them again because they kept me dry.
👤The jacket was advertised as a jacket.
👤Thefits are true to size and go with the size. I use them one time for a walk in the fresh air. It will be great for cold weather activities. 36-38 de taille et j'ai pris la grandeur is a correspondent for the grandeurs. Je vais beaucoup de fois pour faire le marche extérieure. Excellent pour des activités, pour des températures, froide!
👤Tela impermeable, manejable, los pantalones are not ties. Largo es bueno.
👤These are very long. These pants are almost a foot to long for me. Otherwise, they're great.
The PU5000 is made of 190T polyester material. The rain pants have all the seams taped. It provides the best protection in wet weather. The bottom of the pants leg is made with thoughtful detail design, which makes it easy to put on and take off, and to fit on the mid- ankle boots. There are 2 secure pockets on both sides. The waist is elastic for a comfortable fit. The lightweight rain pants are portable and can be folded into a small pouch, which makes it easy to carry while walking, going out, or traveling in changeable weather. The REDCAMP rain pants are available in US sizes M / L / XL / XXL. This rain pants can be worn with any raincoat, allowing you to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities while remaining dry and comfortable. There is a camping guarantee. Their priority has always been 100% satisfaction. All of their products are backed by a manufacturer's warranty.
👤The bad: - Leg zippers are positioned in the back of the leg, which should prevent seepage from oncoming spray, if you ride a motorcycle through the rain. The pants leak water immediately at the seat, where four seams come together. This is not acceptable for motorcycle riders as we literally "sit in a puddle of water" for hours while riding in the rain. When wearing motorcycle boots, the leg zippers are not long enough to allow easy on/off. Water can leak into the pockets and from there through the unwelded pocket seams if the pocket zippers are not protected. The ugly: The right side pocket of the pants I was shipped had a huge hole because the inner pocket seam was not finished. Maybe they ran out of yarn and nobody checked the pocket? Where is the quality control? I have tested five rain pants and not a single one passed the "bathroom sink" test. The worst offenders leaked after a few seconds. All leaked after a few minutes. It's ridiculous that manufacturers can't figure out how to make a rain pant that doesn't leak at the seat, especially since motorcyclists sit in a puddle of water for hours. How can this be so difficult? Please send me a link if you know of any truly waterproof pants.
👤If there was a surprise shower during a hike or bike, I needed a poncho and a packable emergency rain pants that I could pull out of my backpack. I have a pair of expensive rain pants, but they are too big for a just in case basis. I bought a few similar products and returned them because they were not small or fitting. They were folded into a pouch that fit into my bike jersey. The large is just perfect fit over shorts or light pants, with a zip at the bottom to allow donning them without removing shoes. When I have them on, they look like high end sweatpants and not the baggy- knee motorcycle rain pants you often see. I think these are not built for regular commute use, and if I get forced to wear them more than a dozen times, they might wear out quickly. I will bring my expensive high performance pants if the weather is going to be like a Noah's ark level rainstorm. Couldn't be happier for what I needed and the price.
👤I checked the size chart very carefully before buying these pants. Even though the waist fits and the hips fit, they don't fit when I sit down. There is no give or extra room for them. If I was standing, it would work. They will split if they sit. When I bought them, it said women, but they fit like my scrubs. There is no room for your butt in the front. The fabric is nice and not loud as some rain pants are, but I will be returning them as the fit is really made for a man with a flat butt.
There are so many features. The Rain-Factor waterproof technologies keep you warm. The soft and quiet taccat fabric keeps you comfortable. Two slash hand warmer pockets and two rear pockets are contained in the 2-way Front Zipper opening. Two pockets allow access to pants. The body is made of 100% Polyester. The lining is 100% Polyester. The insulation is 100% Polyester. Only non-chlorine bleach when needed, machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low, and cool iron if needed. The model is large. He wears a large pant size. It is true size. In the office, they wear one size larger than they do in the guide shirts to allow for layers. Pairs with Men's Cedar Branch waterproof Parka.
👤If you're thinking of ordering a 2x to fit gear under no just order a 2x, it's because the bibs are wonderful, but you should know that the size runs large, so you'll have to order a 3x to fit.
👤They are light weight and warm. We will see how they hold up.
👤I read the reviews and tried them out for 2 weeks. I was not cold where the bibs were once. Very satisfied so far.
👤It was warm and waterproof. The lining inside the jacket is noisy. deer will hear you move A breeze will cover the noise. I wanted something warm, waterproof and quiet. Kinda sad!
👤It arrived as expected. The fit is what I would expect. I have a large to wear over clothes. They are warm but not heavy. I'm not sure how they would work in extreme cold. They could use a longer leg. It's hard to slide on hunting boots.
👤My husband loves it and it is well insulated. The jacket was purchased to match.
👤I don't know how warm they will be when it's cold.
The quick-dry fleece pant is made of 100% polyester and is soft and comfortable to wear. Warm and thermal locking. This winter warm trousers are waterproof and can keep you warm in the cold weather. A high elastic waist band. The band at the waist part is wide and elastic, no worries about it being too tight or loose to your body. There is a reflective detail. Windbreaker pants have reflective stripes and a reflective logo to increase visibility in low light. This long thermal pant has a patch design.
👤I'd like to say hello to all. I'm 205 lbs and I'm athletic. I bought a large to use for running in cold weather. L was the right size for me because I needed the length. If you're a 32-32, you should consider a M. These pants are cut for cycling, not running, with extra room in the hips and knees. If you're a hardcore runner, the cut is not optimal. They're perfect for me and most people. They have a bit of a "diaper butt" look, but after I wore them for a while, I came to like the extra room for movement. They're soft and comfortable, and the styling is pretty cool. The material and stitching are high quality. Water beads are on the surface. I only mention that they have pockets, but no zippers, because of the debate in other comments. I think they're a great deal. It's a good idea to recommend it. Spelling error.
👤I am an avid year-round Minnesota cyclocommuter and feel compelled to review this product. We finished the year with the second-coldest week of December in the history of Minnesota. I biked every day to work in the cold. These pants worked well. I didn't feel cold after the ride but my thighs felt a little cold. This is a product that works with 45NRTH gear. I am very pleased that it holds up over the next few years. It is definitely recommended for the cold-weather cyclocommuters.
👤In December, you can get these during the Spartan Ultra. The product stayed warm for the entire 24 hour cycle. I wore this top angle bottom through two Spartan 24 hour ultra races. Over 7000 ft of climbing up and down mountain slopes is done through 60 miles. In 20 degree weather and 60 mph midline wind. I stayed safe in the rain, snow and sleet. Thank you!
👤I bought these for the purpose of taking the dog out on cold mornings. I wasn't expecting the quality to be close to what was delivered, they were so cheap. Quality is one of the Pros. The quality is close to that of some major manufacturers. No pilling or loose threads look more expensive than they are. There is value. This is where I was most impressed. I thought that they performed unbelievably well, and reminded me of some more expensive companies. The style and comfort are related. I own some of the more comfortable pants. The elastic waist and pre-articulated knees make you feel like you're wearing something built for you. My girlfriend liked the fit and it complemented her backside. The weather is cold. They do well on cold mornings, and have held up for their purchases. The fabric is blocking the wind. It feels like it. Gore Windstopper. It did well for the price. If I wear them inside, they get pretty hot. I didn't buy them to do that. Cut- This may not be the best product for a person with more curves, or you may have to go up a size.
The waterproof and impermeable material is made with frogg toggs L83 bi-laminate materials. It is lightweight and packable, so don't get caught without it. The Pro lite Rainsuit is perfect for on the boat, in the backpack, car trunk or wherever rain protection might be needed. It is designed to fit over clothing for quick weather protection. The hood has E-Z push cord locks and is designed to keep you dry. This rain suit is going to take you places. Hunting, music festivals, fishing, soccer games, football games, changing a flat, dog walks, camping, and more are some of the things that occur. It is the perfect lightweight, waterproof rain suit.
👤I'm not happy with this rainsuit. I ride my bicycle to college every day and wear a 30$ rainsuit that has a hole in the back of the pants and my ass gets worse whenever I wear it. I don't recommend this product to anyone as it is very fragile and wears out very fast. The third time I've worn this rainsuit the pictures were taken today. I folded it up into a bag and dried it off, but it still gets soaked through the hole.
👤I bought these a couple months ago because we would have a lot of outdoor drills. I didn't need to get them out of the academy. I wore these for the first time today and the crotch seam ripped out with a rip of about 8 or 9 inches. They performed well in the rain, but I'm not happy with the quality of the material. If anything were too baggy on me at 5'10 and 155 lbs., these weren't put under any undue stress.
👤Garbage bags made of tougher stuff are ripped before being worn 3 times. You get what you pay for, except for the fact that 20 bucks buys a lot more garbage bags.
👤This is what happened when I used this item: 1. The crouch 2 was split by me. 3 was undone by the zipper. The backing began to separate from the plastic material. The stitching on the material fabric is terrible. The price and the idea are both good, but the quality is poor. Even though it is very roomy, it still ripped even though I gently used it around my yard. I don't think anyone would use this outfit for riding a bike. I have to throw it away. I don't think it will happen since I used it. Spending a little more and getting a better quality item is what I would advise you to do.
👤I bought this suit just in case it rains and I don't have to wear it very often. The material is very flimsy, and it doesn't seem like it will hold up. I haven't tested it. If you plan to use them for hiking or floating, do not purchase. I would not expect any activity to make me cry. If your body size is tall and thin, you will not be able to get a good fit. The jacket was roomy but the pants were not. The carry bag is small and I was not able to get the garments folded and back into the bag.
👤It was light and could stand the rain for a while, but eventually it started to leak through the doors. The product is great for the average person who needs a rain suit, not for people who will be working outdoors for 8 hours or more. The material is easy to tear if it gets caught.
👤At one time they were a decent product, and perhaps I heard that before. They are cheap Chinese junk with no quality control. I live in Washington state, where it rains a lot, and I need a waterproof jacket that is lightweight and waterproof for my walks. There is a The FROGG TOGGS are very lightweight, they do a great job breaking the wind, and keep you dry. Each time I've purchased a Pro lite rain suit in the last 14 months, the jacket, pants, or both began to leak, and this is the third time. Even the smallest scratch on the coating can cause rain water to leak through. After the first two leaks, I was very careful with the way I handled them, but it didn't matter. This one was also leaked. I was excited to try one of their heavier models, but it still felt lightweight, even though it seemed heavier. I put it on for the first time this morning and realized the hood strings were missing the cord locks that are supposed to keep it secure. I'm done with this company. Buy at your own risk.
Huk is a performance- engineered, technical gear designed to fuel your passion and pursuit no matter where you fish. HUK GRAND BANK has different types of bank accounts. The fabled fishing grounds of the north Atlantic were named after. There are places where big seas and cold weather are normal and where gear is designed for the toughest conditions. There is a light weight gun. The bib is lightweight and comfortable to wear and protects you from wind and rain. Water Proof and Water Repellant are things. The Bib has a water-resistant coating. All-day comfort is delivered by Elastic X-style suspenders. Waist tabs can be used for custom fitting. Extra gear is housed in a left-side cargo pocket.
👤I was not happy with my suit. When I bought this product, I wanted to test it out against the weather conditions I face when I am a tournament fisherman. I was very comfortable in these conditions when this product was out of the box and performed as expected. The real test came recently when I was fishing a big tournament. The morning began with a lot of air in the sky. Within minutes of the rain falling, I could feel my shirt getting wet. I had a moist feeling on my backside and thighs when I sat on the boat to move to a different location. I thought it was sweat, because I was wearing clothes. As the rain continued and the heavier it got, it was not sweat that I was wearing, it was just the Huk suit that met it's match. When I ran down the lake, the rain was slowly dripping down my leg, and the air was cool, making it hard to play in a tournament.
👤The pants were very comfortable and the pockets were practical. I spent a week in Alaska fishing on a boat for salmon and halibut, and these kept me dry and comfortable. I like these because they are not baggy, but they might not be good for larger guys. I would suggest that others fishing a lot and wanting to stay dry and clean.
👤They shipped Jimmy johns quickly. I had to return them. It's a shame.
👤The stitching in the crotch area started unraveling and had a giant hole in less than 3 months. Not worth it for the price.
👤They are great for when you need to wear a coat. My huk jacket matches perfectly and keeps me dry while running offshore.
👤There is only one small zip in the front of the bibs that you can't open with a normal plan, but they are fairly comfortable once you get them on. If you have to go to the bathroom, you have to take the whole top down, or at least hope that the one tiny zip up will work.
👤They are difficult to get into because there is no zip on the chest. Taking them on and off is more difficult because there are no quick release connections on the shoulder straps.
The fully seam taped jacket and rain suit is made with a DRIPORE GEN 2 middle layer for waterproof, wind resistant and all day comfort. The jacket has a hood that can be removed, a front zip, elastic cuffs, and a storm flap to keep elements out. Pull on elastic waist, open leg openings, and 4-panel cut straight leg design. DURABILITY. The perfect rain suit for hiking, biking, ATV, hunting, fishing, or any outdoor activity where waterproof breathability is a must. A quiet and supple waterproof jacket and pant can be found at an incredible value.
👤I bought this as a cheap rain suit. A storm came up as we docked at Port Clinton after we went to a boating rendezvous on Lake Erie. I put the suit on. The storm grew to be very large. Waves closed a 4 lane highway. I was trying to keep the boats from breaking free. The water was close to the docks. The wind was so bad that the dock lines were pulling cleats out of the docks. The dock on the next row broke loose and about 20 boats, all larger than 40 feet, were attached and went up the river. I spent the night trying to keep the boats safe. 70 mph winds and storm surge all night. The only part of me that was wet was below the knee where I had been standing in the water. When I bought the amazing suit, I thought it was cheap paper. I would take this thing anywhere.
👤I ordered a large after reading reviews. This thing was huge. I wear large shirts and 34 pants. I could have fit two of you in that thing, no worries, Prime Member, returned it and got a refund in 24 hours. Two days later, it arrived. The medium is great over cloths. I hope this helps answer some of the questions on the reviews. Have not used it in the rain. It does not come with a carrying case. I followed another user's suggestion. Put the pants in half, put the sleeves in, fold each side into a hood, and put the entire suite into the hood. It is easy to fit and small. No ties or straps, it just fits. Excellent recommendation...
👤I was excited to try the Frogg Toggs suit after reading good reviews. It failed completely at what it was supposed to do. I drove 20 minutes on my motorbike to work in a light rain and had a wet shirt all the way down the front. On the way home from work I drove for 20 minutes in a heavy rain and ended up with my front soaked from shirt to pants. The suit leaked so badly that I was not kept dry. I will return my product as soon as possible because I can't recommend it.
👤My husband drives a tractor and is out in the elements for hours a day. We bought a cheap plastic one a few months ago. It ripped and never kept him dry. This one is very high quality. It's super thick. He loves the elastic waist pants that he can easily pull on over his uniform and they are long enough to cover his boots. I decided to go down to the XL because it is a perfect fit and roomy, as he usually wears 2x in shirts. He is 5'11 and weighs 220 lbs.
👤The rainsuits were ordered with the intention of comparing and returning two. SWISSWELL Black Large is a Mens waterproof rainsuit. Result Mens waterproof rain suit (L) (Black) is $23. Frogg Toggs Men's All Sports Rain and Windsuit, Black, Large is $40.00. Swisswell was chosen in the end. Swisswell had the best fit, style, and function. Swiswell has their own pockets, no pass through holes. A quick test under the faucet proved that the material wouldn't absorb water. I am not sure how well these will breathe. I am confident that they will keep me dry. This was the top choice because of its appearance, fit, and draw strings in all the right places. I don't like the left handed zip up. Will update after use. The results were very rubbery and tight. I would have ordered a bigger size if I had liked it. If you have a budget that is below the other two, this one is fine for minimal use, but it came in last place for my preference. It is difficult to get back into the original bag, but only one of the three tested has a storage bag. Has access to the pockets in the clothing. Also has a weird left handed zip up. Get it right China. Frogg Toggs were large and made of a grocery bag material which was the most absorbent of the three, but I didn't like that it didn't have pockets or pass through holes to access pant pockets underneath. If I am standing watching my daughter play soccer, I want pockets for my hands so pocketless top and bottom was a deal breaker for me. The best way to put on quickly was with these. I felt I could have fit a helmet under the hood. Only one of the three had right handed operations. I knew this would be the winner because it would be worn over heavier clothing.
Air-permeable protection that is waterproof and breathable are features of their Omni-Tech technology. It allows the inside to breathe while keeping mother nature out. These pants are comfortable with their nylon and elastane comfort-stretch fabric. The pants are available in multiple sizes that fit true to size to accommodate every man's needs.
👤I bought these pants because of the description on Amazon, which said they have two side pockets and two back pockets to hold small items. They say they are safe. I will not hold my breath. Amazon is trying so hard to offer every product they can't even verify the description of the products they sell. I lose faith in their system.
👤I was hoping these would fit better than the women's rain pants with the 32" inseam. I was excited to read that these have pockets. I couldn't find any pockets. The legs on these are wide and the inseam is too long. I could probably fit both of my legs into one of the pant legs on these. It's odd that the waist fit well. They are supposed to be worn over other pants, but still are crazy wide-leg pants. I have to say that they seemed pretty comfortable otherwise.
👤It was the same as described in the discription. They cover my feet when I sit down. I have been buying rain gear from Columbia for many years and it is the same quality. The only way to open up the leg without removing my shoes is to use the cuff.
👤The pants are large. The pull tie could be better. Most men don't like the fact that the pants have no pockets. The cheap and lack of pockets make them fail in their function. The features expected in men's pants make it no choice but to return for a more practical design. This is manufactured by Columbia, who fell short of expectations.
👤Most of my height is in my legs. These pants are perfect. They kept my lower half dry. I don't want to wear them as sweat pants or running pants, but they are very lightweight and they breathe well. They have a piece of cloth on the cuff that can be tightened up. I put a hiking boot shoelace in the waistband. The string didn't feel right. There are no pockets to keep water out of the pants. I would recommend them so far.
👤I wear a size 24 women's pants and bought these to wear as rain pants in Alaska. I wore them over leggings, and I am sure I could have worn them over jeans as well. There was plenty of room for them. It can be hard to find specialty clothing in women's plus sizes, so this was a great solution for me.
👤They have a lot of room, 6' 300 lbs 3x 32"inseam could easily slip over other pants. I wore mine as a water repellence outer layer over a wicking base layer with no insulation up in the snow and it was comfortable. Good quality with no pockets.
👤Completely waterproof pants. It's nice to slip over other pants. Make your outfit resistant to heavy winds. It's convenient to put in a backpack until needed. Very light weight, with high levels of protection.
👤I bought these rain pants for my husband who is 260 lbs. He wears a size 40 pant. These rain pants fit nicely. The lenght is perfect and the waist is comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
The Signature Bull Frogg Rain Pant is made with high density fabric to provide increased puncture resistance and is perfect for the tough jobs. Made with Frogg Toggs, it is lightweight and waterproof. The pants have an elastic waist with a cord lock for a secure fit, pass-through pockets, and fully taped seams to keep you dry. The leg openings allow pants to slide on and off easily.
👤Look at people. These Rain Clothes are Breathable and will not make you Sweat like in your Rain gear. No, but 98%. I travel by boat and dingy in the rain. It is cold here. I wear layers underneath because I like the idea of having some insulation in my base layers. I have had different Frogg models. The Light gear was ripped in the crouch the first time. 75 HD's are great, and the Regular Frogg is quite durable. There are no pockets built in the boot zip up pockets that allow you to get into your pants pockets. I like the "Pocket Zipper" because I can reach into all the pockets. Cheers! I love these! Tim is from Alaska.
👤I was a little skeptical when I bought these pants, but I was pleasantly surprised. They felt like paper. I was not sure how they would do. I work in a lumber yard. I am in it for 8 hours when it rains. I do a lot of outdoor activities. It was easy to get on and off and keep me dry. The size of the product was awkward for me, but they are suppose to go over my pants, so this made things easier. I am very pleased with my purchase, and that is hard to achieve. I am very picky. If I am spending my hard earned money on something, it has to perform well. My opinion is completely impartial. I didn't get compensated for my opinions on the purchase. I rely heavily on reviews when making a decision on purchasing something, and wanted to give an honest and honest review on a product I purchased, and you the reader, may be thinking on doing as well. I will keep you updated if things change.
👤I bought this product because I live on the coast and experience rain that comes down sideways and not only comes down, but also. I purchased the Bull Frogg Signature75 HD pants in hopes of helping with the problem of getting my pant legs soaked when I take the dog for a walk. I am 175 pounds and I wanted to wear these over warm clothes, so I went with the Large. They fit a little bigger than I 888-276-5932 The two access ports on these pants allow you to get into the pockets of your pants without having to reach through the waist band, which is a nice touch. The waist has an elastic waistband that can be loosened or tightened. The legs have a strap that can adjust the cuff diameter, as well as the sides of the pant legs that have a zip up. This is a way to put on/take off pants. The first time I tried this, I wore some big muck boots that barely fit through the pant legs, but once they got to the opening, it was no problem. It was a plus to know I can do that, but the hassle of trying to get the boots through the leg was more than I would have thought. I don't know how they would stand up to rough terrain, but walking around in town or around the house is fine. The material is a little thin. I wasn't expecting the Kevlar lining, but I would be nervous about trying to wear these in the woods, for fear of getting ripped by a branch, but for less than $25.00. We get a lot of rain, and so far I have not had any issues with water getting through the fabric, even blowing at different angles, so I would say they are doing their job perfectly. I would give these pants a 5 star rating for their price range. They have kept me dry so far and I can't really ask for more. I have had these for over two years and they are still holding up. I don't use them daily but I do use them occasionally in the woods, but I was careful not to go through thorns or too many branches. I was pleasantly surprised when I caught a rogue wave perch. I got hit with a thigh high wave while wearing muck boots with cuffs tightened. I ran out of the water expecting my boots to be full, but they weren't. I had water on my knees for a good 5 seconds and no one got through from the cuffs. I would give these 6 stars if I could. If I hadn't been wearing muck boots that fit tightly over the straps of my pants, it would have been a very different story. You can't have more of a water test than that.
