👤How often do you need a cooler backpack? I don't go for adventures every weekend that requires such a luxury. It's awesome to have but most of the time, it takes up storage space when not in use. I like that it can collapse. I can store 2 gallons of milk in my fridge with plenty of space. It has always been difficult to keep food cold while running an errand during the summer. I love that this backpack doesn't collect dust while we're waiting for our next adventure. It is very durable and well-made.
👤I love this backpack cooler. I used it for the first time today. It was easy to carry when I was hauling my gear down to the river and later when I wanted to hike to a waterfall. I put my dry bag inside it because it had a lot of room for food and drinks. When I bought it, I didn't know it has so many pockets. It's perfect. I know I was taking a risk buying white, but it's just so pretty. It did get muddy, but it has been wiped clean. What a great find for a great price. Thank you! I'm looking forward to many more kayaking trips with this.
👤I received my OlarHike cooler backpack and I think it's construction. Is it amazing? I was pleasantly surprised when I received this item. The next day delivery option is available. The backpack was in great condition. The product was packed with care when I opened it. There was a transparent lining. It was easy to remove. There is a big thumbs up for struggle-free packaging. The cooler backpack features that I like best are listed below. There is a second compartment on the top where extra items may be, and the backpack is thickly lined with insulation. Is that correct? This is a deal that will make you scream. Don't walk. Is that what it is?
👤I have been looking for the right lunch box for a long time, when they are not too small they are too big or the food won't stay at the correct temperature, I found this cooler backpack. I was skeptical at first, but decided to give it a try and I am happy. I have been using it to bring food to the office and it keeps it nice and warm, so I don't have to use the microwave. This one would last a long time. This is a great place for people who spend long hours at work and don't have to waste food. The Fruit pocket is what I call the lunch box that has utensils. If you need to go to a place that is difficult to carry big coolers, this is the one for you. Definitely a great purchase!
👤It works. It takes a bag of ice 2 days to melt. The water proof part is disappointing. I bought this hoping for a cheap version of the yeti backpack, but I guess I will have to pay for a better one. It works in perfect conditions. I use it on camping trips because it sits in a car seat and I can grab it and take it on a hike.
You will receive a practical cooler storage bag with a strong elasticity for YETI Tundra 45 Coolers and RTIC coolers 45qt, which will make it easier for you to organize your food and beverages when you go fishing, picnicking, camping or grilling. It keeps your drinks and food cold all day and can be used to hold lunch at a family picnic or to haul a six pack of cans and bottles of craft beer to a BBQ. The portable cooler folds flat for quick storage in your trunk or kitchen when not in use because of the patented snap hinge on both sides of the basket. The lightweight cooler is perfect for long drives in your SUV and small enough to fit in a suitcase for a vacation, thanks to the durable side handles and shoulder strap. The integrated bottle opener on the handle of the cooler allows you to open a bottle of beer in a second. 5 layers of leak-proof insulation, water resistant zippers and body, top interior dry storage compartment, daisy chain to clip keys, fleece lined pocket for your sunglasses or cell phone are some of the features. 5 layers of leak-proof insulation, water resistant zippers and body, top interior dry storage compartment, daisy chain to clip keys, fleece lined pocket for your sunglasses or cell phone are some of the features.
👤I was looking for a cooler that I could take food to the pool and not have to haul a big eevy. I like that it collapses. Sometimes it collapses when you don't want it to. It doesn't hold water or ice, so it will leak. Material and size are good. Will use it, but a little disappointed that it didn't hold ice.
👤We took a cooler with us on our camping trip. It worked well and held the cold for a long time. It was easy to bring in our baggage because it was packed flat. It will not last forever. I think it will last a long time and I will get my money back.
👤I already own a CleverMade 50 can cooler that is a few bucks cheaper than this one. I use it all the time on car trips, boat outings, picnics, and taking food to family gatherings and it looks the same as it did when I bought it. It's great. I wanted a second one so I could use both of these things instead of using my 50qt hard sided cooler. I thought I'd give it a try. It's built beefier on the inside and out and still has all the things I liked about the original one. It's worth the extra dollars in terms of a more durable skin and feeling more waterproof at the seams. The way I describe it is that it feels like it's ready for camping and the outdoors, whereas the other one is more suited for suburban living. It doesn't seem to have any thicker insulation, but the thicker materials make it a little more rigid, so it doesn't collapse as small as the other one, even though it still folds flat and compactly. I'll take that to have a little more resilience. This version has a shoulder strap. You will be happy with either version, but I prefer this one.
👤Dislike. A bag. The ice is turning to water too fast. Went to the dump because it was garbage.
👤I got this for my son. It is lightweight, easy to carry and folds flat when not in use. A hard case cooler is not practical because he doesn't have much storage room. He told me that it was perfect.
👤The premium model ice was able to fit 24 bottles and 1 bag of ice with a little room to spare. The bag is a decent cooler bag for the price.
👤This was a large bag. I like cleverwear. I am not happy with the quality of this cooler. It looks good and the size is nice, but the zip will not budge and it is so slow that it gets held up again. It seems to get stuck in the spot shown in the photo. The stitching on one of the handles is not great. I bought this so it could carry heavy items and it is already destitching on one of the handles which is normally the kiss of death on any kind of tote. If it worked, I would love it. It looks good, but it has some manufacturing flaws.
It's comfortable and comfortable. The backpack has a padded back and shoulder straps. The design of the backpack will make you feel better and reduce sweating. The fishing bag for men is made of sturdy, durable wheels and a reinforced telescopic handle, padded shoulder straps, and an additional securing strap. The waterproof fishing backpack with rod holder and fishing tackle box is very durable. The cooler is attached to the backpack and held in place by large strips of fabric. It's big enough to keep you hydrated, snacks, and sandwiches for a full day of angling. A backpack that is great for camping would be great for men. The waterproof fishing backpack, 4 rod holders and 3 plastic tackle boxes for fishing are designed specifically for all your angling requirements. There are lots of pockets and compartments that you need for fishing. This fishing bag, measuring 19.5x12.5” with a cooler, is the perfect birthday, Christmas or "I Love You" gift, ever! 👤I was surprised when we unboxed the backpack. There are three areas on this bag. The top piece has a cooler on it. There is a large compartment in the middle. There are 3 tackle boxes in the bottom. There are two rod holders on each side. There are two pockets on the back of the bag, one with a hook for pliers and the other with a zip. There is a The top piece holds ice, bottles, cans, water bottles, and food. The cooler is soft and will not stay ice cold on a hot summer day. There is a There is a place to put a name card in the middle compartment. The inside of the compartment is open and there are two different types of dividers. There is a The tackle boxes are in the bottom compartment. Each box has three rows. Each box has 8 dividers and the row is 9 7/8” x 1 7/8” The tackle box will not close if the two different dividers in each box are not in the front row. The boxes are not flimsy like some other brands. There is a The stitching was great and the zips worked well. I looked at the entire product and didn't find any pulls. The material is strong. There is a There are straps with the bag. You can either carry it as a backpack or pull it. The wheels are rolling nicely. The cooler will come off of the bag if the entire unit is lifted by the cooler handle. I couldn't find any. I will update and amend my review if I do. I love this bag. The craftmanship is exceptional and there are so many compartments. I am so happy we found it.
👤I have to take a lot of pictures at the convention and have to bring a lot of gear with me. I have to fit whatever I use on an escalator. I've added a couple of compact stands and longer light sticks to my kit. I've attached tubes to a cart with a camera backpack, a roller cart, and more. This is a product that works great. There are pockets and straps on the sides that can hold poles. I have a compact stand and three pockets for light tubes. The main compartment is similar to a camera bag. The bag only has two large dividers, but I have boxes of them from other bags so that's not an issue. The compartment is large enough to hold a standard camera bag. I have a bag that holds a camera, two lens, speedlight, and various accessories. I can put it in the top compartment. There's a big bottom compartment with shelves that can be adjusted. You can use the included parts boxes or remove the shelves and put a couple of smaller studio lights in here. The bag can be used many different ways. The top of the bag has a pair of strips that match the ones on the bottom of the cooler bag. The bag can hold things. There's a variety of straps and D-rings in the bag. Flat pockets are great for maps, notepads, and so on. The bag has a set of features.
The cooler box is ideal for camping trips. Heavy-duty wheels and a telescopic handle make it easy to transport across almost any terrain. The 50-quart capacity can hold up to 84 cans. 5 full days of ice retention is provided by the insulated lid and walls. The cup holders are easy to access.
👤It's illegal to leave a cooler out in your car in national parks, and we chose this cooler because it's as tall as a cooler can be and still fit in a bear box. Big fine for doing that. It worked well on our last trip to the park. A standard chunk of block ice can last at least 3 days in warm weather. The thicker insulation of the Yeti means it holds less stuff outside. If I were going to be camping somewhere without a convenience store or supermarket nearby, I would only consider a Yeti. If you can get ice every few days, you won't get the benefit of the Yeti's larger storage capacity and higher price. I think this is as big a cooler as an average person can lift. I was a bit taken aback by the press used to close the lid. It seals well enough to keep the cold in, but you have to make sure that the kids or unobservant adults push the lid down to get stuff out. It will lose its cool if it sits ajar. The bottom train plug has a press fit. It didn't leak. You have to tilt the cooler to drain it. The handle and wheels seem sturdy. The drain's plug is a press fit. It's attached to the cooler on a tether, and it's not as secure as a valve. Less to go wrong. The drain hole is up off the bottom of the cooler, so it won't dran completely unless you tilt it a bit. A small beef. The question is whether it keeps your stuff warm. And it does. Will the press-fit lid still work after many years of use? I don't know. I don't know if it will. I don't know if the animal can open it. I wouldn't leave it accessible to them. It's strong. You could use it as a seat, and the big handle is equally strong. I used to lift it out of our van and onto the ground with two smaller handles. They were sturdy, though someone who was careless might damage them. The current fashion in coolers is to have a telescopic handle on one side, like luggage. It would be easier to pull along the ground than it is to pull it along on its wheels. We didn't consider such designs because none of them would fit in a bear box that was larger than this one. Our van has a place where this cooler can fit out of sight of bears and park rangers, but a luggage-style cooler of comparable capacity would be too tall. Before you get a telescopic handle/cubical form factor cooler, make sure to measure everywhere you need to put it. It would be possible to build a cooler of this one's dimensions with the wheels mounted at each end, but no one has done so. You couldn't pull a cooler through the house to the kitchen to load groceries. We'll probably stick with the design for the future, since it seems like it's a better value than a high end cooler.
It's easy to open, collapses like an umbrella and stores slender. If food gets on it, rinse it off and air dry it. It takes up a lot of space in the RV. It's useful for year round camping, patio dining, family cookouts or picnics. Bowls of popcorn can be covered during outdoor movie nights. The typical spread is elevated for bistro restaurants. Heavy duty blow-molded construction has a reinforced base for increased strength and protection. It's lightweight and durable with proven 4-5 day ice retention. The cooler is protected against sun damage. The hardware and hinge rods are Rust- resistant. The lid is kept secure with rubberized T-grip latches. The MaxCold body has 20% thicker foam and an insulated lid and can hold up to four days of ice. Cool Riser Technology improves cooling performance by elevating the cooler away from hot surfaces.
👤I use the bottles of water instead of ice. I want to keep the food cold. I have ice cold drinking water left over from the frozen bottles and it takes up less space in the kitchen. I use this cooler all the time on multi-day road trips. It stays cold for at least 3 to 4 full days. The others are selling for hundreds of dollars. Solid built as well. I attached a picture of 16oz water bottles to give you an idea of how much capacity you have.
👤I am a fan of the Pelican. My friend is a fan of yeti. We see which one performs better with ice rentention in the field. They are very close. Those come at a high price. The Igloo BMX cooler is doing just as well as my Pelican at a fraction of the cost. The handle and straps are heavy duty. It works the same as before and has a great look. Very happy with this.
👤I haven't put the IGLOO BMX cooler to the test in the sun. I did an indoor test and a 10lb bag of ice lasted three days, at least a day longer than my Rubbermaid cooler which has similar capacity. I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting better performance from the BMX, and it might benefit from a rubber lid seal. The BMX is heavier than the Rubbermaid but less than the Roadie 20.
👤I ordered the cooler even though I read about people having problems with the hinges. While waiting for the cooler to arrive, I ordered longer screws and a fire hose. Amazon has Igloo hinge replacement material. When the cooler arrived, I removed the hinges, drilled out the holes and hammered in the plastic wall anchors. I screwed in the longer screws after cutting one of the replacement fire hose hinges. The screws are tight and the hinge is working. You're welcome from a 63 year old lady.
👤I just received this cooler and I must say that it is solid. It is made like a tank. I work in the traffic control industry and it looks like Igloo made a cooler just for me. I had an Igloo 30 quart cooler that had all of the capacity I wanted, but the lid was not strong enough. I could sit on it. It was too flimsy to be 888-282-0465 and would sink in when I sat on it to eat my lunch or take a break. The lid started to crack. I had to stop using it as a seat because I was concerned that I might break the lid if I continued to use it as a seat. I pulled the BMX out of the box and it was SOLID! I will be able to sit on the BMX 25 and not worry about it not holding up. I weigh 190 lbs. I believe that the Igloo BMX 25 would be able to support a 250-300 lbs. Derriere. The previous 30 Quart Igloo cooler was a little larger. I am confident that it will still serve my needs. I use my cooler for some extra work gear when I can't fit the extra 5 quart capacity difference in. The BMX 25's walls seem to be much more solid than my old 30 Quart Igloo, which was clearly thicker. One complaint. I agree with some reviewers that Igloo should have put the tie down tongues on the body of the unit instead of the lid, but with how solid this cooler is, I can live with that minor issue. I wish it had a lock that was integrated into it. Are you listening? The handle on this cooler is very sturdy and solid, but only the test of time and usage will tell if it holds up to my abuses. I am taking this. I'll be working with the Igloo BMX 25 quart cooler for the first time tomorrow. That will be the first test of my ability to keep it cool. I only use refreezable Ice packs so how it keeps real Ice will be a problem for me, but my refreezable Ice packs should give me a good idea about the cooling capabilities of the BMX 25 and I will update this review in about 3 months after I have had I'm glad I didn't buy that cooler. Who needs to spend hundreds of dollars on a cooler? That's crazy! I think the Igloo BMX 25 is going to be a good choice for a cooler. I think the only way you could make a mistake with the Igloo BMX 25 is not to get it now. I would like to thank you Igloo for making my cooler.
Ice packs are ideal for use in coolers to keep frozen goods frozen when you're on the go. Extra-thick foam walls and insulated lid for best cooling performance. The lid is locked in the cold with rubberized T-latches. The product life is extended by the hinges and screws. Premium touch points are provided by swing-up handles with rubber grips. Extra corner protection is added by the use ofskid pads and a Diamond plate metal insert.
👤Is there better coolers? Yes. Do they cost more? Yes. The cooler is roomy and keeps ice cold for up to 5 days depending on the conditions. I needed an upgrade to my camping cooler. Between 3 to 10 days a year, I camp. This little beauty made it easier to pack for my 10-day trip, and it also made it easier to get ice on my trips. I only needed to add ice two or three times to top it off, and not as much as I would have needed to add to my previous cooler. If you step down to this cooler from a more expensive brand, you will find fault. If you're going to buy this cooler, you'll be happy to have spent the extra money for a better product.
👤Unless you are in the northern part of the world, this thing is not going to hold regular ice for five days. Depending on the ambient temperature, the hours can be as long as 48 hours. The rubber seal on the lid and screws coming out of the hinges are the two main complaints from other reviewers. Both of these can be done quickly. I went to the large orange hardware box store and bought a foam door gasket that provides a better seal. The screws were removed and coated with a substance. I hope they don't come out again, so I don't have to remove them. It seems to be well made and durable. I'll be using dry ice during my January overland desert trip so I need a good seal on the lid. It will get knocked around in the back of a pickup, but I don't think that will be an issue. I'll modify my rating if this cooler isn't up to the task.
👤I keep my hunting cooler in the back of my truck. It has been 4 days. I have 75% of my ice. It's cool and rugged. I think it's just as good as a Yeti at a quarter of the price.
👤This cooler is amazing. We topped it with 10 ice packs and no regular ice. When we arrived at our destination, the cold air came out like a freezer and everything was still frozen solid. I am pretty sure that it would have been that way after a few days. Handles are easy to carry. It fit in both the trunk and the back seat of our car, but there wasn't enough space to open the lid more than 6-7"
👤This was a return from the warehouse. I'm very happy with it. Looks good. If you keep it in the shade and have it properly cooled off before you ice it down and then keep it in the shade when you get where you're going, it will hold ice for three days and then some. That's correct. Before I go to camp, I usually fill and freeze empty soda bottles and put them in the bottom of my coolers. The run of the mill is more durable. Don't expect quality on the materials of the igloo coolers. You aren't paying the same prices for these. I think it's at the high end of materials. I've taken our Yeti camping during the triple digit days of summer, and so far, they hold up equally on keeping ice. Four days is the most you can get out of the Igloo. Personal test. We went to the lake for three days after using it. Ultra high humidity made the temperature in the mid-90s. It kept pillow ice for three days without the frozen block of ice. After we got home, I left it on the flatbed of my truck for three more days. The bed is made of steel. Even though the ice had melted, the bottled water and ice melt water inside was still very chilled. I drained it and cleaned it out after it got a little warm in there. 3 days camping, 3 days in the hot sun on a black flatbed, and then it started to get warm inside. On the first day of sitting on the bed of the truck, ice was gone. Block ice was not used on the first trip. This weekend will be a long weekend, upper 90s/lower 100s, with block ice in the bottom and pillow ice on top. If my opinion changes, will update. If you catch it at the warehouse on a return at a lower price than usual, it's a great cooler for the money. I would recommend it to someone who doesn't have Yeti Money and needs an upper mid-grade cooler.
There are extra large side pockets. Store keys, phone, wallet and other personal items can be easily accessed with a large front pocket. The portable pop up cooler folds down to under 3 inches when it is collapsed making it great for travel, picnics, sports events, concerts, camping, hiking, beach parties and other events outdoors. The shoulder strap and side handles help carry 30 cans of your favorite beverages at a party. This small folding cooler is ideal for keeping wine, beer, Food and groceries cool for hours when not in use, and folds down when not in use. It's the perfect gift for a hard to shop for friend or family member, and it's reasonably priced and will take up less room in your car trunk than large hard sided and Styrofoam coolers. The beverage cooler has Dims of 15 when closed. 25"L x 10"W. 75"H and when open dims are 15.25:L x 10"W x12"H with a weight capacity of 35 lbs. It's recommended to use Clever Ice. 👤I was a little disappointed that there weren't any in depth reviews. Quality materials are visible on the outside. The lining has plastic supports inside to strengthen it when filled. The inner liner is a bit thin. I advise you to be careful with forcing jagged ice chunks. If you're into cans, the 30 can reference is great, but my concern was for water bottles and sports drinks. You can fit a lot of water bottles or sports drinks. If you have a three wheeled stroller, you should not put it in the bottom compartment. After a few months of family time torture, the review will be updated. Hope this helps.
👤The picture was taken on a boat in the Florida sun. I was surprised that it would hold up compared to hard coolers made to endure heat. I put ice in 12 cans. I was prepared to move my drinks to the main boat cooler after the voltage was over, but I didn't think it would hold up. My floppy cooler held longer than the igloo boat cooler. I just dumped the remaining ice out of the cooler after 12 hours. I give it a thumbs up. It does leak water when ice is present.
👤I needed something to carry pumped breastmilk when travelling away from my baby. This is a great size for flying and can fit under an airplane seat or in an overhead bin. It keeps ice and breastmilk cold. I have traveled three times and spent more than 10 hours with milk in this cooler and it always stayed cold. The majority of the ice was still frozen when I got home and the milk was cold. I wish it had a pocket on the outside. I carry it on the plane so I wish there was a place to keep it. It would be convenient if it had a small pocket.
👤My husband and I took a Clever Made folding cooler to Ireland for a two week vacation. It was easy to fit in the bottom of my bag. We like to explore off the beaten path and carry a picnic lunch everywhere. Since we were traveling in a small rental car, the cooler kept our meat, cheese, fruit, and drinks cold and never leaked, which was really important. It was light and sturdy enough to be a table between our two folding chairs. It had enough room for food and drink for two. I felt like we could have put more inside. The strap has a built-in bottle opener. The suitcase was easy to clean and there was no smell of food in it. If you have limited storage space, this is a great recommendation.
👤I really like this cooler. We live in Florida 5 minutes from the beach and have gone through many coolers. I wanted a collapsible one so that I could store ice and water in my car. This one is perfect. It's made with quality materials and holds a lot of items. We took it over to the Universal Orlando resort and filled it with drinks so that we didn't have to use the credit card at the resort and it was perfect for that. We only relied on what was in the cooler and didn't buy a single thing. Dumping water and replacing it with ice from an ice maker kept it cold for three days. The product is great.

The YETI Tundra 45 has a capacity of up to 26 cans with a 2:1 ice-to-contents ratio. An extra thick FatWall design is certified Bear-Resistant and ice stays ice thanks to up to 3 inches of PermaFrost insulation. The sturdy construction of the portable cooler will stand up to the stresses and strains of the journey, because it is armored to the core. The T-Rex lidlatches are made of heavy-duty rubber and have patented keeper technology. The Tundra 45 dimensions are 25 1/3 in long x 16 1/3 in wide x 15 1/3 in high with an empty weight of 23 lbs. All Tundra models come with a dry goods basket.
👤I got to set my car up for the first time at the NASCAR race at PIR after returning from deployment. I spent a lot of time making her look like she's from the deployment. It took about an hour for the latch to break. A piece of shit with $300 wasted and an hour of time making her pretty. I will never buy a htis again.
👤Do you really need a $300 cooler? Really? Do you really need a chainsaw if you can get a Volkswagen from point A to point B? I put 20 pounds of ice in my truck for a picnic. There was still ice in the cooler four days later and I mean a lot. The thing was still covered in ice. I have been a fan of the tumblers for a long time, but never could convince myself to buy a cooler as expensive as they are. I decided to buy it because of the recent price drop on the Yeti and the fact that the lid broke off my cooler once again. You get what you pay for. I have seen independent reviews that show the Yeti is superior to other brands and I am convinced that it is. I almost went with a pelican because it looks cooler. I decided to stick with a brand that I knew and that has been tested and found to be the best and I couldn't be happier. The design is very sturdy. This will be passed down to the next generation. If you want a cooler that does the job better than anything else on the market and will not need to be replaced every couple of years, this is worth the investment.
👤I bought this ice chest because I take rafting trips where I put the raft in the river and then take it out a week later. I take off road trips in my Jeep and go to the boonies for a few days. I have an ice chest that will keep my food for 3 days. canned food and warm soda are left after that. It was a big leap for me to spend that kind of money on an ice chest. I jumped. I left for a 4 day trip to the eastern Oregon desert. I put a bag of ice in the car. I put in a 6 pack of soda, 4 bottles of juice, eggs, bacon, lunch meat, cheese and condiments. You understand the idea. I didn't cool the food or the ice chest. The soda was bought off the shelf. I wanted to give the Yeti a reason to fail. If the ice ran out, I would divert to a town and take care of it. I didn't care how many times I opened it. It was open 6 times a day to get stuff out and put it back in. The Yeti was still keeping everything cold when I returned home the following Tuesday. It wasn't cool and it wasn't cold. I weighed the ice after removing it. The original weight was 12 pounds. I want to know if the lid was closed when the chest was given a bad review. I can't figure it out. I want to know if you read the specifications before giving this chest a bad review. How do you complain when you order something that says it weighs 10 pounds, but it doesn't show up and you don't like it? And guess what? If you put 20 pounds of food in it, it will weigh 42 pounds. The ice/food/drinks will always be the biggest part of the weight. It's well made. I never had to drain it because the drain plug made so little water that I never had to tighten it. 12 pounds of ice is about 1 1/2 gallons of water. The melted weight is less than 1/3 of a gallon. Not enough to flood a car. I can see why you would be upset by the price or weight of the item. If you need an ice chest to keep your food fresh for a week, this is the one for you. This thing works. The manufacturer says it does. Buy it with confidence.
Sun damage is protected by UV inhibitors. The insulation on the body keeps the contents cold. Cool Riser Technology improves cooling performance. The fish measuring ruler is in the lid. Swing-up handles and tie-down loop are features that make compact size great for boating.
👤We bought this cooler to fit under a seat. It's the worst cooler I've ever had. The ice was completely melted after 4 hours after we packed it. I was very disappointed. I assumed it would be fine since it's an Igloo product. I'm going to upgrade to another brand. The whole thing pops off if you tug the lid the wrong way.
👤I often make multiple stops on my grocery runs, and had been looking for an inexpensive hard side cooler to keep in my trunk to help keep frozen things from defrosting. This igloo is perfect for the bill. If I don't pack it all the way the top, it will fit one of my bags. The hinges are holding up well. Would buy again.
👤A portable spot cooler is being made. I wanted a smaller cooler to take in my Jeep that doesn't have an air conditioning. It works well for my purpose after modifications, as the cooler wasn't designed for how I'm using it. It was my fault for not paying more attention to the dimensions listed. These coolers will keep your stuff cold for a few hours. You need to make modifications to get more time out of your ice. It makes a difference if you insulate the lid with expanding foam/sealant.
👤The handles on the cooler are too long, so it does not work as a replacement for the MasterCraft cooler. The cooler's handle broke and I have a MasterCraft. Instead of paying the full amount for one from MasterCraft. I bought it. The seat cover that fits over the cooler storage area is prevented from closing completely because of the different handles. There is a warning...
👤This was the cooler that came standard in my boat. It is a nice day trip but don't expect it to keep the temperature down. It's thin and not insulated, but it's only $20. If you are looking for a longer ability to keep things cold, there is a thicker version. A quick cooler is a nice way to pack drinks and snacks.
👤Don't hold ice long. It suits my purpose. I needed a cooler for my kayak because I dispatch my fish immediately rather than allow them to die slowly. I usually have to add water to the ice to make this, but since the ice is melting quickly in this cooler, it becomes a perfect slurry as I am fishing. The cooler works for me because I only fish for a few hours a day. It could be a good dry box.
👤I have larger coolers that we all use. I needed a smaller cooler for my husband and I on our camping trip. The cooler was the perfect size. It was small enough to fit on the back of the ATV and large enough to hold everything we needed for 3 days. We used re-freezable ice packs to keep everything cold for 3 days, even though it got quite warm during the days. The handles are attached firmly and it is very sturdy. I would highly recommend it.
Buy with confidence. If you're not happy with the wagon at any time within the first year, they'll give you a replacement. You can wheel your cooler instead of carrying it. It works with most coolers with a width up to 17. The wheels are easy to tot over different terrain. The frame is made of a powder coated steel. All hardware, straps and axles are included. All hardware, straps and axles are included.
👤I received my order today so I can't comment onDurability, but I will come back and edit reviews if I find an issue. If this post doesn't have any edits, it's probably because I haven't found anything worth editing. The cooler is called the Yeti 45qt. To get to the good stuff! The product was easy to install. I was impressed. I preferred the video on the product page over the paper instructions because it was easier to follow. A hammer or mallet was all that was needed. The bolts that hold the pins in need of an Allen wrench. I was surprised the hardware had locking washers. You should pay attention to what side you put the wheels on. I put them on the side with the drain plug so that I could easily lift the other side to drain the water out. Almost all the pieces feel very sturdy and thought out. The cambuckle straps are cheap and feel pretty. I am not worried about these as they are inexpensive to replace if they go bad. The metal looks solid. I like the large wheels. They roll very smoothly and don't make the cooler sit on one side. The setup is very sturdy when installed. The wheels are holding out strong. I get asked questions and I compliment them all the time. Despite initially feeling cheap, the straps that came with have held out. Highly recommended!
👤The wheel kit for the Lifetime cooler is not made by them. I removed the rubber feet from one side of the cooler and drilled four holes in the steel bottom plate to reuse the screws from the coolers feet.
👤Hello everyone. I would give this a 5 star rating. They didn't send me washers. I had some, but it was not a big deal. I was hesitant to order this, but I'm happy I did! The RTIC 45 is compatible with the short wheel shafts. If you have a 65, you want to use the longer ones. Hopefully the photos I posted will help you. I love the new wheels on my cooler and it's easy to move around.
👤Be careful! 17” MAX is the widest it can hold. They claim that it's not 17.5” as they say.
👤It was installed in 5 minutes. Will update after getting ice and drinks. The steel base plate has good straps. It was installed on a Yeti 75. These wheels are awesome. I pulled the cooler through the mud and gravel. I recommend this set to anyone who is looking for cooler wheels.
👤It was a little bit of a pain to install, but once it was on, it was amazing. I have a Tundra that is 30 pounds empty. Carrying this thing is a full workout. I had stopped using my oothy, and left it on our sunporch as a stationary cooler, but since adding these wheels, I am taking my oothy out of the house again. The wheels are very smooth and can tackle any terrain. Adding something to the handle will help keep your heels from being run over by the wheels. Lifting into/out of a vehicle will get a little harder on your back, but once out of the car it is much nicer to roll around!
2 way handles for easier carrying. PEVA foil, aluminum foil, and foam. It can be made in the USA or imported. ThelarHike Cooler Bag has a load capacity of over 50 pounds. It can hold 40 cans. A small amount of cubed ice can be used for the maximum capacity. It's ideal for camping, hiking, BBQs, etc. The exterior is made of 600D Oxford fabric which is easy to dry. The interior lining is made from PEVA foil and padded with foam. The premium food-grade aluminum foil is easy to clean and resistant to water. The OlarHike cooler bag is more durable and has three ways to carry. Pick up the light loads with the padded top handles or grab the side handles for heavier loads. A great design that can be stored easily. You can put it in your luggage or store it in a freezer. It can hold up to 12 lunch boxes which makes it the ideal companion to bring your lunch, snacks and beverages coolly stored when on your way to school, office or when going out to play with your friends.
👤There are basic observations. Accurate product dimensions are not provided by the product webpage. The OlarHike 40-can cooler is 15 inches long by 12 inches wide and 11 inches high. That has a capacity of 34 quarts. There is a It should come as no surprise that a soft-sided cooler doesn't have as much insulation as a hard-sided cooler. On hot days, don't expect multi-day ice retention. The cooler has 8mm of insulation, which is typical for soft-sided coolers. There is a The manufacturer claims that the cooler is leak-proof. Over the long term, no soft-sided cooler will stay leak-proof. You may avoid leaks for a while, but you will eventually create leak points on the thin inner liner if you keep collapsing for storage and opening up for use. That is the nature of the beast. There is a I don't put loose ice or bags of ice into a soft-sided cooler because of the leak issue. I use a hard-sided freezer pack instead of ice to keep things cool, or if that is not practical, I put cubes of ice into wide-mouth containers before putting the containers into the cooler. I recommend the flexible wide mouth Nalgene canteen to hold the ice. It's easier to get ice into the canteen with a wide spout canning funnel. If you put ice in a leak-proof container, you still have a container of cold water to keep things cool even after the ice is gone. There is a I like to put the ice-filled containers on top of the items to be cooled rather than on the bottom of the cooler. The ice containers on the top of the cooler provide a faster and more complete cooling because the cold air in the container sinks to the bottom of the cooler. It's easier to tell when it's time to empty a container and re-fill it with new ice when the container is on top. I ordered two coolers and they arrived promptly, each one individually boxed and packaged in a large plastic bag. Excellent packaging. The shipping boxes are about the same size. That is the size of the collapsed cooler. There is a I like the combination of top and side handles and the shoulder strap on the cooler, it appears to be well made. There is a The shoulder strap is no longer dangling, making it easier to use the top or side handles for moving or carrying the cooler. There is a There are two useful pockets on the cooler: a small mesh pouch on the back and a full-length front pouch. There is a The cooler has a load limit of 50 pounds, which suggests that you are unlikely to over-load it. There is a A generous 2-year warranty is provided by the manufacturer. There is no solid panel for the bottom of the cooler. If you load the cooler with a lot of weight, it might be a problem. To better support heavy weight, you may want to add a section from a sturdy cardboard box cut to the size of the cooler bottom. A plastic cutting board that is at least 1/16 inch thick would be a more durable solution. If the index tabs on the cutting boards get in the way, they could be cut off. It may require multiple mats to be stacked together to provide useful support for the plastic chopping mats. There is a A plastic dishpan that fits the 15-inch by 12-inch footprint of the cooler is another option for bottom support. I have some plastic dishpans from a Dollar Tree store that are perfect for the inside of a cooler. My plastic dishpans are only 4.5 inches deep, but they can hold a fair amount of loose ice cubes without any leak issues, as long as the cooler stays upright. There are plastic dishpans in 8 to 14 quart sizes on the Amazon website that would fit inside the cooler. There is a One of the two coolers I ordered had dual zipper pulls on the lid, but the other had only one. It's not a big deal for me, but this shows that there isn't a lot of product inspection at the Chinese facility.
