The water impermeable material is: water proof and water impermeable. Water Repellent coating on this jacket repels water and waterproof/breathable material works to fight the water, keeping you dry while on the water. Quick drying. It's important that you stay comfortable on or off the water. The wind is blowing. Wind resistant fabrics and innovative construction allow you to stay out longer and keep you warmer.
👤It fits a little big. It's supposed to be so it can be over your clothes, but it's not too hot for me.
👤It's not unusual for this size zip to be waterproof, windproof and comfortable. Would buy again.
👤It would buy again in a heartbeat.
👤My husband said it was an awesome jacket and thanked me for the Christmas present he received.
👤It's great for fishing in the rain. It was warm and comfortable.
👤It was what we were looking for. The fit was perfect.
👤I have only used a few minutes but I work great.
👤Not for cold days. It's great for a cool day.
👤La qualité du vtement is exceptionnel.
👤It looks and feels great. It is more of an orange colour than red.
The waterproof and impermeable material is made with frogg toggs L83 bi-laminate materials. It is lightweight and packable, so don't get caught without it. The Pro lite Rainsuit is perfect for on the boat, in the backpack, car trunk or wherever rain protection might be needed. It is designed to fit over clothing for quick weather protection. The hood has E-Z push cord locks and is designed to keep you dry. This rain suit is going to take you places. Hunting, music festivals, fishing, soccer games, football games, changing a flat, dog walks, camping, and more are some of the things that occur. It is the perfect lightweight, waterproof rain suit.
👤I'm not happy with this rainsuit. I ride my bicycle to college every day and wear a 30$ rainsuit that has a hole in the back of the pants and my ass gets worse whenever I wear it. I don't recommend this product to anyone as it is very fragile and wears out very fast. The third time I've worn this rainsuit the pictures were taken today. I folded it up into a bag and dried it off, but it still gets soaked through the hole.
👤I bought these a couple months ago because we would have a lot of outdoor drills. I didn't need to get them out of the academy. I wore these for the first time today and the crotch seam ripped out with a rip of about 8 or 9 inches. They performed well in the rain, but I'm not happy with the quality of the material. If anything were too baggy on me at 5'10 and 155 lbs., these weren't put under any undue stress.
👤Garbage bags made of tougher stuff are ripped before being worn 3 times. You get what you pay for, except for the fact that 20 bucks buys a lot more garbage bags.
👤This is what happened when I used this item: 1. The crouch 2 was split by me. 3 was undone by the zipper. The backing began to separate from the plastic material. The stitching on the material fabric is terrible. The price and the idea are both good, but the quality is poor. Even though it is very roomy, it still ripped even though I gently used it around my yard. I don't think anyone would use this outfit for riding a bike. I have to throw it away. I don't think it will happen since I used it. Spending a little more and getting a better quality item is what I would advise you to do.
👤I bought this suit just in case it rains and I don't have to wear it very often. The material is very flimsy, and it doesn't seem like it will hold up. I haven't tested it. If you plan to use them for hiking or floating, do not purchase. I would not expect any activity to make me cry. If your body size is tall and thin, you will not be able to get a good fit. The jacket was roomy but the pants were not. The carry bag is small and I was not able to get the garments folded and back into the bag.
👤It was light and could stand the rain for a while, but eventually it started to leak through the doors. The product is great for the average person who needs a rain suit, not for people who will be working outdoors for 8 hours or more. The material is easy to tear if it gets caught.
👤At one time they were a decent product, and perhaps I heard that before. They are cheap Chinese junk with no quality control. I live in Washington state, where it rains a lot, and I need a waterproof jacket that is lightweight and waterproof for my walks. There is a The FROGG TOGGS are very lightweight, they do a great job breaking the wind, and keep you dry. Each time I've purchased a Pro lite rain suit in the last 14 months, the jacket, pants, or both began to leak, and this is the third time. Even the smallest scratch on the coating can cause rain water to leak through. After the first two leaks, I was very careful with the way I handled them, but it didn't matter. This one was also leaked. I was excited to try one of their heavier models, but it still felt lightweight, even though it seemed heavier. I put it on for the first time this morning and realized the hood strings were missing the cord locks that are supposed to keep it secure. I'm done with this company. Buy at your own risk.
It is waterproof and is perfect for long days fishing. The DriPore 2 Gen technology construction is sealed. There is a storm hood with a storm flap and rain gutter. There are sleeve openings and shock cord waistbands. There is a fly box pocket on the chest.
👤I don't like the hood and collar on this coat. They are in the way. Fishing in rain may be useful, but not for an average rainy day. When you zip the coat all the way up it rubs under your chin and neck, which is very annoying to me, especially if I'm out on the stream casting, moving my head and shoulders, and you can't roll the hood up or remove it when not being used. The elastic waist causes the coat to ride up when I raise my arm, but it could be the draw string is too short. I like theay out of the pockets because they are placed in good locations and easy to get to. I like the drab color of my fishing gear. I got a small size. I like to fly fish in January and February, so I could wear layers under it, but the jackets are not front to back, it could be because of the waist being tight. I already have the jacket, so I'm not sure if I'll return it. I wouldn't have bought this jacket if I had tried it on in a store.
👤I was looking for a lightweight shell that would allow me to walk the dog in and work from home. We get a lot of rain and wind in New England. The jacket I received was late but wouldn't zip up. The process to send it back was easy and a new one arrived three days later. The process was very easy. I like the jacket, but it is not designed to handle daily use. Within a month, it had become very dense along the interior arms, sides, and shoulders. I ripped up a pocket on a branch about a week after I started wearing it. It is waterproof and can be washed off. I wear it in the rain and in the snow. It blocks the wind. If you want something for short trips or occasional use, this is a great jacket. I don't think it's a good idea for the whole winter season.
👤I like the jacket. The main chest pocket threading has come apart. There is a My phone and car keys are in that pocket. I get a few waves when I'm fishing. I can't have my phone and keys wet. The sewing was disappointing. The arms are wet at the cuff. I keep my back dry by keeping out wind. A big fit. I wore it for an hour or two every weekend. It took 6 weeks for it to fall apart.
👤I can buy a rain coat for 30 dollars, but a smaller wader jacket costs a hundred. I don't need a lot of pockets. The jacket has 4 pockets. The jacket feels like it's been sewn together. Even after a storm, it feels dry.
👤I've run in several variations of rain coats and not one kept the water off and allowed for air. The answer is this coat. While they can keep the water off, the liner of the coat will keep your body heat exhausting, and no matter what you do, you will be miserable. A coat that is breathing.
Carhartt Company gear. The shell has a water-repellent finish. The release of stains helps combat stains. The quilt lining is brushed. There are waterproof seams. It was tumble dry.
👤I was a bit concerned by the few negative reports I had read but I am a very strong fan of Carhartt and have never had a bad experience with their clothing line, I am still wearing a pair of their " artic " bib coveralls. I decided to give this a try because I work in stone quarries and a high vis outer-wear is a must for OSHA and MSHA. I weigh 200 lbs and am 6'3a' tall. I always take an extra large one. It is a little baggy but it is a work winter coat. You have to have room forLAYERS. I wore a coat with a hoodie and long johns this past week and it was 32 degrees with a 15-20 mph wind. I recommend this to any man or woman who is going to be outside.
👤The temperature was warm and I had to take some off because I was swearing. I was not cold outside but this jacket is very warm. It really is visibility. I know that's what it's made for. I had both the warm thicker version of the jacket and the lighter just water resistant version. The logo is a sleek smooth rubber type. The pros and cons of pockets are listed here. It has a lot of pockets. I don't know what to use them for. They are also deep. I haven't had it long enough to vouch for it. There are concerns about textURE. It's a dirt object. It was getting dirty before I took it to work. I'm not exaggerating. It didn't stand a chance once I took it to work. I don't think that's dirty. I wanted the new jacket to stay clean but not a chance, so I was trying to be extra careful. There are random dirt spots that won't "pat off". I dropped some anti oxidizer on it. That was all. There is a new stain. I tried to rub it off with a kitchen sponge, but it was too soapy. I tried to get it off. The tag says 25 wash cycles max. It's too expensive to replace it once it gets "too stained", I look like a kid and it's too dirty. The last two pictures are on the second day, but you can't tell how dirty this is. I was trying to keep myself clean. It feels big, it really does. They don't make a small size. It feels a bit too big even with layers and I'm 5'10 lbs. The top rubs and brushes against my neck in a way that makes me feel uncomfortable, but I'm hoping I get used to it. It's a nuisance to use pockets that are so deep. The velco is hard to un. It's too early to say that it will be loose eventually. They should have used magnetic clips for the pockets. The jacket has a random strap by the shoulder area that is either ugly or awkward. Don't account for it if it has a particular purpose. It's warm. I prefer to stay clean. I would buy 3 $50 hi viz jackets and replace them when they're no longer presentable instead of dealing with this single jacket that was made to get dirty. The sleeves are not optimal and it feels bad. They made it easy for it to get dirty so we buy replacement jackets.
Please check their size chart and choose the size you want. The fabric of the DINTEX Soft Shell is 8000mm. It is waterproof and lightweight, and it is a breathable fabric. There are two shoulder pockets and a forearm pocket on the left arm. MUST have function: Windproof, breathable, heat preservation, no fading, anti-wrinkle, no shrinkage. It's better to wear a better design. The idea is great. For military combat shooting, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
👤True to size for an average build. L and M are usually worn in all my jackets, polos, shirts, and button-up work shirts. The L Medium is perfect over t-shirts for a more fitted look. If I wanted to layer, large fits well. It felt a tad roomier and broke in perfect after being washed. The jacket has a thin layer of fleece on top of it's outer fabric. The Black Camo should be used for everything because it is black. I recommend the L size for anyone taller than 5 feet 7 inches because the M sleeves are just right for me.
👤It's too small! The jacket is pretty nice. Totally worth the price in my opinion... The size is way off. I wear a 3XL and sometimes even 2XL shirt and jacket because I'm a bigger man. Many reviewers have stated that the 3XL jacket is more similar to an t-shirt than an t-shirt. Sorry, but it's being returned.
👤For the price you can't go wrong, this is a light functional warm rain jacket that I need to wear over a hoodie in the winter, and it has three zips on the left arm. There is a great compartment on the back that is great for storing gloves or hat/scarf. It should work well in the winter here in Philadelphia. I normally get a large in everything I order, but I went with an xxl because it runs small, and I could have ordered an xxl instead.
👤I received my jacket, but it runs small than I thought. I'm 6ft 225 and this is a slim fit, I would recommend getting an xxl if you're about my size. Even though it's small, quality is comfortable. It has the arm pit zippers so you can let some fresh air in if you get uncomfortable.
👤I don't want to look at the price of this jacket on my mobile device, but I think it's somewhere between $39 and $40. Absolutely worth the money... If this jacket had a higher-end tag sewn on it, it would be a $280 jacket. At a glance, that was it. I had it for about five weeks. They seem to be holding up. I had a couple of cell phone lights that had a lot of garbage in them. I used to wear a large. I don't remember what I ordered. I followed the recommendation and ordered a 2XL. I'm not sure if it's in the website description. It does not shed the water like the picture suggests, but it does repel it. It's certainly not a rain slicker. I don't do bad reviews. As far as the color. The green is in place. Not a generic green. It has become quite supple since I washed it.
👤I'm 5'8" and 160 lbs. The sleeves are almost too short. I will make it work. It will be too bulky if I exchange it for a XXL. I wear a dress shirt. I would like it to have inside pockets. I haven't tested the water resistance yet, but it's definitely a light jacket.
Fishing and hunting are hobbies. The most serious hunters and fishers rely on this jacket to stay warm and dry. There is a technology called neocore core. Windproof and waterproof materials are included. It's durable. Seams are Glued, Blind-Stitched and Thermal Taped. The Waistband has two interior cord locks.
👤I feel fortunate to own a jacket of this quality and so would any man with a penchant for high-quality outdoor wear. Please read and understand the intended use and design of this awesome gear, as it will far exceed your expectations when put to the test in bad weather. There will eventually be someone who writes a review to say how they were not comfortable when they wore it for a day of shopping at the mall or how the hood that lay down perfectly flat did not allow them to wear it with ease. This is a must have.
👤The jacket is of good quality. I bought it for my husband for his fishing trips.
👤The jacket is real. The best jacket I have ever purchased.
👤On windy and rainy days, this jacket keeps me warm and dry. I love the idea of the pockets.
👤Awesome jacket. It gets moist inside from perspiration. A fleece lining would be better.
👤The jacket is great. I love shopping at Amazon.
👤Excellent. It is very warm and keeps the snow out of the wind. So far, so good!
👤A great coat.

👤There is a lot of discussion about size. I weigh 170 lbs. L works for me in almost every shirt. I followed the advice of most who said that the product runs small and should be "up-sizing." I ordered an extra large. It's too big. It was returned for a L. I think the "up-size" recommendations came from people who do too much "up-sizing" at the drive-through window.
👤I ordered 2 of these jackets after reading some reviews and looking at other places to compare and read reviews. I ordered a size up from Large and was told it would take up to 4 weeks to arrive. I was hoping they would arrive before Christmas, but they did so two weeks ahead of time. I opened and inspected each jacket and found no defects. I like the fit and wise choice in ordering a size up. I was not sure if the jacket was right for me, but it fit well and I was warm in no time. There is no place for name patches on the front of the jacket, but there is a place for a phone or mp3 player in the arm and chest pockets, and there is a rubber grommets in the pocket. There are 4 different places you can choose from. The jacket matches my uniform well. I'm happy with the purchase so far. I have almost owned this jacket for a year and it takes daily abuse, but I love it.
👤You get what you pay for. The price is reasonable for a soft shell jacket, but the quality is not up to par. The tabs are stiff plastic and tear open. The plastic is stiff. The sleeve openings are large and need to be closed with Velcro. You can cut these off with a pair of scissors.
👤I spent a week trying to decide who I would buy this jacket from, mostly concerned with the quality and size issues. I chose the size I would buy off the rack. I couldn't cross my arms because the XL fit perfectly, but not so tight. I am 6'1 and 240 and this is perfect for me. I took my time. I don't have to get bigger.
👤This is a great jacket. The air conditioning is on and it is at a cool 68 degrees. I wear it when I go out to my car. When I get too warm, the underarm zippers help to keep me cool. The pockets are great. The literature inside the packaging was very well done. If there was a problem, they had a customer service email and phone number. I've been wearing it for a few days and I absolutely love it. I can tell a quality product when I see one, but we will see how it goes after 6 months.
👤A quality product at an affordable price. I tried a few other soft shell tactical jackets from other brands and they weren't good. The Free Soldier brand product was almost perfect for the price. The fit is what I was looking for and the workmanship is better than the other brands I tried. I would give this jacket a 5 star rating, but only if there were two issues that are minor and keep this jacket from being perfect. I hope you are listening. There are two issues that need to be fixed. The jacket would be at least $10 more expensive than the current price and get a 5 star rating. This jacket uses a roll-up hood that is secured by a flap with two small hook and loop tabs, which will fail once the Velcro wears out. The collar guys have a hood stashed in it. The elastic shock cord and barrel cinch locks are cheap and don't hold well. The jacket is right on for the price compared to the others that I tried. The style, features, expected fit and quality of workmanship are better than the rest which all rolled in at the same price, except for Condor's "Summit jacket" which costs twice as much and doesn't have the fit or quality as this Free.
Keep your body dry and comfortable when you are outside, and fight bad weather with a waterproof Windproof Snow Ski jacket. The cuffs help to seal and keep warm, and the soft shell is wind resistant. The best heat retention, Relaxed-fit style with quick-dry material is guaranteed by professional water repellence coated, fluff lining and durable fabric. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, Snowsports and other winter outdoor sports are included. The jacket has a standard fit. You can choose by US size.
👤This coat is amazing. It blocks the rain and wind. The coat is very warm. I am 5'-9" and 160 lbs and it fits well with room for layers underneath if needed, the only negative I can think of is that the zippers seem a little cheap. They are holding up well. I was on the top of the Alps last week with just this coat, a long sleeve and a short sleave, and I was good to go.
👤It works perfectly. One person assumed it was a very expensive jacket when I stepped out. It keeps me warm. The hood feels good on my head, it's not permanent, and it has a high quality strap and strings. There are pockets that are accessible. It's small and flexible with how you want to move about. So far, so good.
👤I bought this for my husband. In the winter, it gets cold and wet. The jacket was waterproof and warm, and it was cheap. He immediately looked at its claim of being water proof. He stood in the shower while he put it on. Definitely worth the money.
👤My son is going on a ski trip and I bought this coat for him. The first time he wore it, the pockets broke when he opened them, and the inside lining was visible. He couldn't wear it because he couldn't go skiing. We had to purchase a new jacket at the resort immediately. This was a huge waste of money.
👤I live in Houston and it can be difficult to find a jacket, I went on line and got lucky, this jacket fits me like a glove, I am 6 foot tall. I could not be more pleased with the fact that there are lots of pockets. Thanks!
👤Reviews for quality and size are correct. The large was very large on me even with a hoodie on. The medium is perfect. The quality is great so far, I only had it for a week. On the first day, I received a compliment.
👤I bought this coat because someone wrote in a review that it was a coat for fat people. I should have been angry, but I realized that this was the coat for me. I have owned the coat for a while now and it is very hot. The rain and cold are kept out by the outer shell. The fleece on the inside makes me sweat. The price was worth it. Why not 5 stars? The problem is that they are cheap. They look cool, but can get jammed and fall off their track. I had to make a small stitch at the beginning and end of each pocket to prevent the zip from falling off the track. There was a section where the stitching came undone on the inside of my jacket. I had to fix it. You don't expect to have to do some tailoring when you buy a new item. The hood is small and out of proportion with the overall jacket. If the company can correct these three issues with a little more quality control and design checks, this coat could easily sell for more and be a big hit. If you want to create a female companion to this coat, make sure you check the measurements for your intended consumer target.
A heavy-duty climate jacket. The StrikerICE Climate jacket is made with unique materials that set it apart from other fishing jackets for men. The G2 Softshell jacket liner provides extra warmth and can be removed and worn on its own, so you can use it all year round. Waterproof technology: Heterogeneous. The material has a waterproof rating of 5000mm and a breathable rating of 5000g. This material can be used in extreme weather conditions like snow or heavy rains. Fishing features. The jacket has a number of accessories made for the professional fisherman, like cross-flow vent to regulate temperature, hand-warmer pockets, a magnetic storm flap closure, and even fast-drain hem and sleeve cuffs. It is essential that assistance is provided. A person can be kept afloat for up to 2 hours. This technology has helped save many lives by giving outdoorsmen the safety they need in case of an accidental submerging in icy water. High quality outdoor gear. The Climate jacket is perfect for fishing, but can also be used for other activities, like skiing or hunting, where extreme weather could be a factor. Pair this jacket with their StrikerICE Climate Fishing Bib and you have the ultimate outdoor gear combination.
👤The jacket was starting to get wet after spending the day getting snowed on. The claim that these jackets are waterproof is a bit misleading and I came across their explanation on the website. These jackets are not waterproof. They are to a point. The waterproof rating is not as high as that of Gortex. The pockets had some water in them, but they claim the zippers are waterproof. Maybe I am asking too much for a jacket at this price range. I love this jacket. I haven't had a chance to try it out, but I use the liner or shell. For general use, the liner is good in the 40s. I have worn the shell by itself as low as 27 degrees and though I could feel it a little bit in the sleeves, my core area stayed comfortable with just a t-shirt. My biggest complaint is that the sleeves are short when my arms are extended. Maybe that's a design. Maybe there's a reason I don't use this jacket for ice fishing. This jacket is one of the few that fits me well. This jacket is made in the US and not China, that's the only thing I want to see. I'd expect to pay $320.00 for a US made jacket, but not a Chinese one.
👤It arrived as described. Adding a folder over the flap on the two large, outer pockets would prevent water from coming into the pockets and items from falling out. It has a lot of pockets relative to the layer. Too many pockets may make it hard to know where things are kept. I was warm and dry in the low 40s, wearing both inner and shell. I had my kid wear the outer layer because the Eddie Bauer jacket didn't keep the water away. We were able to stay warm and dry for more than 30 minutes until we reached a dry location, thanks to this method. Some rain got in from my neck collar when I wore the inner jacket alone. While a higher collar may have solved the issue, not sure if it would have caused another issue when wearing the outer shell. I was happy to have the jacket perform and meet my requirements, even though it was expensive. I was very warm and had to "unzip" and still stay dry. When wearing the inner jacket only, my core was still warm and dry, even though the rain water was beading up on the outside. The hood has a wire that keeps it up.
👤The first thing I noticed was that this jacket was very heavy. Surprisingly so. It is very dense, not sure if it's the float insulation or not. It's very warm and I love the sealed pockets. I haven't had it out on the ice yet, but I've been wearing it around town in single digits and have been very comfortable. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the fact that the cinches around the writst are painful. The hard corners of the patch pokes into my wrists. Attached is a picture of the offending corner. A taller person might not have the problem if my arms are short. Easy 5 stars if this problem were solved.
Waterproof/windproof fishing boat. The shell of the jacket is waterproof, allowing water to bead off, and it has an ultra soft fleece interior that will keep you warm on the windiest days. Storm's products provide superior warmth, flotation, and flexibility because of the revolutionary outerwear design by affixing ultra-thin neoprene core with proven outdoor fabrics in a special lamination process. The Stormr typhoon jacket is built with a purpose of keeping you warm, mobile and dry, and it is finished with thermal taped seams for maximum protection. A bandage is adjusted. They knew how important it was to make a tight seal around your waist, neck, and face, and that's why they used two interior cord locks for added protection. The new version has a non-corrosive splash proof zip with a nylon pull, full-length interior storm flap, enlarged interior pocket, and 2 AQ6 fleece-lined, splash proof exterior pockets.
👤The weight is 6' 185 lbs. My shoulders are broad and this can cause a problem with fitting clothes. I ordered a large and it fits well. It's possible to fit a sweater underneath without restriction. This was bought for fishing. It looks bomb-proof. It is supple and will provide warmth. I am looking forward to using this jacket in the surf.
👤I have no complaints about the jacket. I didn't go for the level up jacket at $100 more since I wasn't sure it was worth it. I wish this jacket had more expensive features like cuffs and a better hood. I would not spend the extra $100 for the more expensive version and I'm satisfied with this one.
👤I am very satisfied with the product, a layer up with base layers and no need for heavy sweaters, this eliminates the need for bulking up since it gives you a lot of room for mobility. Throwing a castnet is a good investment for a recreational fisherman or outdoorsman who likes the warmth and mobility. I would recommend the bibs to get the full coverage from cold environments.
👤The best foul weather jacket I've ever owned. It kept me warm and nice when I wore it for fishing and shoveling snow.
👤I can't say enough about this jacket. It is warm, dry and looks great. It made it through its first NJ fall surf fishing season after I bought it this summer. I was upset I didn't make this purchase sooner. It runs a bit large.
👤This jacket is built to last. This jacket is warm and comfortable and I boat in bad weather weekly. The material feels good on your skin. There is only one reason for a star and that is to dry from a loop or something.
👤The coat had a lot of flaws on the exterior that made it look bad. I tried to contact the company to get a replacement jacket.
👤My son thinks this jacket is cool. It was the warmest. It's difficult to keep him warm while he's a professional diver. This works. I won Mom Of The Year with this purchase.
👤It's a great sale price and it's great for fishing in wet and cool weather.
👤The jacket turned out to be a kind of neoprene waders in the form of a jacket, but I was not sure what other reviewers were expecting. It feels a bit thinner than a typical neoprene waders. It's more supple than I would have thought, but it's definitely not like the other one. I weigh 163 lbs. The medium fits me well. Moderate rain so far has been good. I am a saltwater fishing guide. I will have a better opinion on the jacket in a month.
The snow jacket is made of 100% Polyester. Warm ski jacket with soft thermal fleece lining keep body warm and comfortable in cold weather; the softshell come with special high-density fabric and coating are highly wind resistance and warmth. waterproof and quick dry are both waterproof and can be used for cold outdoor sports or work in the winter. The windproof winter coat has elastic cuffs and stretchable glove with thumb hole to keep the cold out. There are 2 huge side pockets and a deep secure inner pocket in the multi pockets. They can keep your items out of harms way. It is an occasion. The winter jackets are great for skiing, snowboarding, shooting, hiking, rock climbing and other winter outdoor activities.
👤This coat is a good value and well-made, but I'm not happy with it. The ZIPPER on the wrong side makes me crazy. It shouldn't make a difference, but it does. Is this a coat for women? Is this a custom in China? The size is small in the body. The sleeves are in good shape. I bought an X- Large to be on the safe side. It's a little snug, but it fits. If you wear a shirt and a sweatshirt in the winter, it's going to be very tight. If you want to try on a coat before buying it, you should go to a store that sells Chinese brands.
👤I bought this coat before Christmas. The coat did not fit as expected. I chose the men's jacket because I have a bigger chest and broad shoulders. The sleeves were long, but the chest did not fit as I 888-276-5932s I bought the bigger size thinking I could layer but the coat wouldn't allow me to put on a thick sweater, maybe a thinner sweatshirt. Being that I work night time in Va this was a deal breaker for me some mornings.
👤On September 27, 2020, I ordered a parka from the XL line. On October 23, 2020, I received a woman's parka. I tried it on and it was too small. I can't read the language of the labeling. The inside package was fine, but it was in a green trash bag with a label taped on. I returned the label because the garment smelled of diesel fuel or some similar chemical which made it unwearable with out cleaning, so I am thinking someone after the manufacturer. I am not likely to order from this mfg again, I think they can use the label to track down where the smell came from.
👤The jacket broke after a few weeks, so I've been trying to reach the seller. It ripped under the arm. They haven't responded to any of my emails. There have been many.
👤Unless you zip up the side pockets frequently, things can fall out easily. My gloves fell out of my pockets while I was grocery shopping, and my eyeglasses fell out of my left pocket while I was shopping. The grocery held them for me to pick them up. The chest pockets are small. The jacket was returned because of the pocket design. The Trekek jacket is a warm coat if you don't use pockets. It's better for temperatures under 45F, but the jacket feels too warm for that temperature.
👤I put this jacket over my sweatshirt on cold mornings in Northern Maine. The zip up broke after I did it a total of 12 times. It's no longer useful. A waste of money. It's a warning that cheaply made junk is. Don't waste your money.
👤There was a hole in the underarm seam. This jacket is definitely going back to Amazon because I think the hole will get bigger the more I use it. There's another item like this that is on Amazon, and people ordering it mentioned that it had a hole in the seam.
