The pocket tackle box is 11 x 7.5. It's compatible with a plano 3600 tackle box or similar sized tackle box. The ball latching system is included. It's easy to drain, fast to dry and free of tangles.
👤I have a bag on the fence. It holds 4 16 oz water bottles. It is mounted to the back of the seat. It is very awkward to grab stuff from the water. I would like it to be installed with retractable cords. I couldn't grab the bag and pull it in front of me to get the items. If you tip your kayak, everything will float out of this bag as it is online secured with one small bungee. I kept it because the pros outweigh the cons.
👤This works on many Kayaks. It is easy to move between my kayaks. Suntan spray, mosquito repellant spray, and other random things are held in this place. It stops the items from rolling around in my cockpit.
👤It was nice to have it mounted to the back of the kayak. On my second trip out, stitching stopped. It was pretty disappointed.
👤You can own a passport. It's nice to have an extra tackle box. It's much cheaper to buy a well tackle box.
👤I bought this to put on the tackle rac. I'm impressed with the construction, it fits perfectly.
👤Installation came apart. I sent them back.
👤This is the second kayak that I have used.
👤One of my orange loops for the bungie strap just ripped off.
There is a package with 2 X paddle leash. Light weight and highly resistant to damage from impact and sunlight are the qualities of the super tough. There are two things: Irrigation and Stable. High pressure inflation provides extra rigidity and stability, with high pressure spring loaded valves for easy inflation and fast deflation. There are 2removable skeg for deep and shallow water, 1 floor mounted footrest, 2 conveniently detachable fishing rod holders, and a phone mount. Everything you need is included: paddle, hi-output air pump, carry bag, inflatable seat booster for elevated seating, grab handle on both ends. There is additional storage space. Storage space in bow and stern with d rings for tying down dry bags.
👤I got this today and will take it on the maiden voyage tomorrow. I inflated it and deflated it to check it out. Inflation and deflation are very quick. 4 minutes to inflate and 4 minutes to deflate. The ability to deflate with the pump is amazing. The kayak seems very strong and tough. I will update this review after I get it in the water. This kayak was finally on the water. I kayaked on a calm lake and this kayak performed very well. I'm a very weak 55 year old woman with a bad back, so this is a good thing, I carried it fully inflated to the water by myself. I was very comfortable in the water. I'm 5'5" tall and have plenty of leg room. I took the foot rest out because it was uncomfortable. The kayak is designed to be a fisherman's kayak, so it has additional features like pole holders, a bar to hold a device and a phone pole. I like to paddle around and enjoy the lake, so I will probably never use these. So far, so good. If I have more to add, I'll update this review.
👤I'm 58 years old. 150 lbs. I have average strength and ability for my age. I wanted something I could catch in the kayak. This kayak was perfect for the bill. I took it out twice and had a great time. It takes a few minutes to set up and tear down. I can carry it for a short time. The build quality is very good. I was worried about fishing from an inflatable. The material is very strong and stable. It's the hardest thing to deal with because you have to dry and drain the water that gets in the channels below the floor. Storage and care are necessary to get the longest life out of your products. I don't do many reviews, but this one has been a great purchase and I'm very pleased with it. I can get off work and be on the water in less than an hour. I'm hoping to find a battery operated pump to use with this at some point, but it really takes little effort to inflate and deflate...I'm just a little lazy in my old age... I have no regrets about my purchase. In my limited experience, the kayak is great at this price point.
👤There was a puncture in the bottom. I was in the middle of the lake and the whole kayak started collapsing on me. I was under the water for 30 seconds before being picked up by a boat. I did further research and found a Chinese company with very cheap products that I highly recommend you not buy from. I haven't been able to use it because the pump is broken.
👤My wife got a kayak. I am very happy with this kayak so far. It was assembled and inflated. Light and smart design. I was able to adjust the seat and footrests to make it easier for her to reach the cell holder. I would not be comfortable in this kayak for a tall person. We will be putting it in the water next month, but so far we are very happy with the kayak.
The package weight is 1 pounds. The store has a top zip for easy access to drinks even when seated. The water-proof outer materials and the closed cell foam keep drinks cool. The ball cords are attached to the kayak seat. It is possible to fit other necessary gear and accessories in a narrow design kayak storage area.
👤The back of my kayak seat has a cooler. The cooler will keep drinks cold for a day on the water. This isn't a Yeti Hopper by any stretch of imagination. There is a A $25.00 cooler like this is asking a lot for the price. The color design of the stitching and zipper pulls could be improved. I don't know who thinks Neon green stitching looks good on a fabric. It would be nice to change the colors of the stitching and the pull on the fabric. The cooler is functional.
👤I have the standard back rest that comes with most kayaks. It isn't perfect, but it is doable. I haven't tested it out yet, but based on my experience with weight it might carry. If you have a backrest like mine, make sure it's stable before you go out. I love it already.
👤This was bought as an open box return. The box was a little tattered but the cooler was in good shape. It was a little dirty but I could tell it wasn't being used. I really like it, it washed up like new. It was easy to attach to the back of my Ascend 133X seat and hold drinks for a small cooler. I don't think this will hold ice for days, but it will handle a day on the water. The attachment points are triple stitched and the zippers are high quality. I was impressed to say the least. I was glad I pulled the Trigger.
👤I used this for my kayak, which was perfect in the bow or stern, and was filled with ice in the morning, but never melted until the next morning. The cooler is great.
👤I wish I had found this a while ago instead of having a hole in the ice chest. I need one for my drinks and one for fish. It fits right behind my seat and keeps drinks cold. It does not leak. If you notice, the water tight zippers will leap if you hold them upside down. I hope I don't end up upside down on my kayak, that's why I can't complain. I'm able to fit my wife and I drinks in here for an entire day without any problems. I use my first aid kit to hook stuff up to it because it has straps on it. I'll probably get a second one for my other kayak since I got this.
👤It is not water proof. The outside is made of fabric so it will leak and get wet. I wanted a flat cooler for my paddle board.
👤This is a small bag. If you are in full sun, it keeps drinks cold for the afternoon. The back of the kayak seat has a hang on it. The cooler won't hold ice for more than a few hours, so it's probably not good for long camping trips. I wouldn't buy this again. A soft RTIC cooler would be better for performance.
👤If you have ever been to the North Carolina sound, you will know it gets really hot. It was kept drinks cold all day long and anchored to the back of the kayak with out doing a crazy yoga move it was water proof and it worked well.
Proper use and caution are required when using the spring-loaded clamps. Don't put hot liquids in the cup. They have a three year warranty and you can email them for help. You can use the boat carrier to carry your kayak, canoe, paddle board, float mat, or jon boat. It's durable and has a 200 pound weight limit, but it's also keeping the carrying weight at a minimum. The design of the tires allows for smooth movement across rough surfaces such as sand, gravel, and through wooded areas. The bumper pads are large enough to protect your vessel from scratches or dents, and the tie down strap is large enough to hold your vessel. The carrier can be stored in a large backpack or in your vessel while on the water, and the tires can be easily removed with the lynch pin. The carrier can be stored in a large backpack or in your vessel while on the water, and the tires can be easily removed with the lynch pin.
👤I would like to clarify a few points I've seen in other reviews. I had one of the $100 carts. Although it looks the same in pictures, it's a little bigger than this cart, so these cheaper carts are not necessarily the same as the expensive ones. I returned the expensive one because it had no advantage. I prefer the inflatable tires over the solid tire. Some people have complained about the tire smell, but my tires didn't have a strong smell. The inside of the box had an odor, but when I removed the tires their odor was only mild and it went away in a day. I almost gave up on inflating the tires because I couldn't find a chuck for the valve stems. I checked the pumps at my house and the stores. It needs an old fashioned screw-on fitting but it's almost impossible to find them these days. I pulled the stem up with some needle nose pliers and attached my compressor hose. The cross bars that support the canoe are V shaped, and like the other carts, the V isn't deep enough for my Coleman Scanoe's keel. The canoe tips from side to side when the keel hits the support bars. I deducted a star because of that. I made a small modification that worked well to overcome this. I screwed 2X4's across the support bars to raise them after cutting off the foam padding. The 2x4's were snug on each side of the keel so the cart always lines up centered and straight. I stapled the foam pads to the 2x4's to hold the canoe. I use heavy rubber bungee cords to hold the cart to the canoe. The Scanoe with the electric motor, battery, outriggers, throttle, steering, paddles, PFDs, and other items is just under 160 lbs. I put the cart near the center to make it easy to pull it around. I launch about 200 yards from the river. The cart stays in place despite the rough parts of the path. It's a pleasure to use. I put the cart on top of my SUV when I take my canoe out.
👤We have a kayak that weighs 65 pounds. We bought this to get it to the water. The kayak won't stay centered on it no matter where you put it or how tight you strap it on. The kayak will fall off in a few moments. I don't like this device. I could have built 4 carts myself that would have worked 10 times better for the price I paid.
👤I almost didn't buy this after reading a lot of reviews. I am glad I did. I can help with good placement. If you want to get the most flush placement, slide the carrier until you flip your kayak over. You can use something on your kayak as a marker. It's easy to place when right-side up. I wrapped the tie in the middle and went around the bars and the carrier strap. The front or back of the tie should be where it ends. I ran zip ties through the center strap. I wouldn't have to do that many times. When I put my kayak on the carrier, I just align the wheels to my marker, pull the 2 tie down ends over, and tighten. I use it on small limbs, blocks and oyster shells. No issues.
100% Money Back Guarantee: They don't want their customers to be trapped into a purchase they're not happy with. They will give you a full refund if you are not completely satisfied with their marine anchor and accessories. PC+ABC is made of high quality material. For a long time. It is easy to install and use. The head is 30 degrees. There are 3 fixing points for quick rod adjustment. The inner diameter is Approx. 7.5 inch. 45mm inside tube.
👤Installation of the front compartment of a kayak was somewhat of a challenge. A large egg shaped hole needs to be drilled out on a deep angle. The post extends deep into the leg compartment, making it difficult for your legs to hit against it. I had to change the angle at the last moment to avoid having a huge hole in my new kayak and no rod holder in place because of the restrictions it created below. The product was not ideal for my application. Instructions were not included for install. You will need a drill and a saw. I used 1/3 of an inch. Before you commit to the holes, think about how the tube extension will affect what's going under it. It will work if it doesn't interfere with anything below.
👤Awesome. It was easy to install on my explorer. I used a hole saw and drill bit. Pull off the rubber gasket and trace the inside diameter onto the boat where you want it. The hole saw can be used to drill out the center. You will need a large rat tail fiels or a carving or sanding drum on it. The rod holder won't fit into a perfect 1 1/2 hole because it's more oval shaped, so take some material out of the top and bottom of your home until it fits, then I put it back in and drilled the holes. To tighten screws, use a screwdriver instead of a drill or impact driver.
👤It was installed in the hatch. You can see how the fishing pole will point if you hold it where you want it. I didn't install it because the pole would point out over the water. It was better pointed straight up. I reinstalled after I redrilled. The base covers my mistake. After drilling a hole with a hole saw, I used a dremel with barrel sander to shorten my hole. I only got a nut on one bolt, and the other bolts were too close to the tube of the holder, so I used 2 screws on the other 2 holes. The overall looks great. My next one will be perfect. I suggest buying extras to practice on your friends boat.
👤It's very easy to install on cheap Pelican yaks. I took 5 minutes each. I used the screws that were included. I put my fishing rod in them and they fit perfectly, even though I haven't been able to use them on the water yet. You will need a hole saw, a drill bit, and a phillips screwdriver. And that's all. The product is pretty good.
👤These are the right depth to fit in the sundolphin Aruba 10' perfectly. Not too deep or too shallow is where your rods want to fall out. I can get out there with multiple rods with different lures/baits on them and switch easily. It was the best value I could find. The waterproof covers are a plus.
👤The price was great and this was easy to install. The cover can be a little easier to open and close. It works well. It works great for spinning rods, but it doesn't seat well for spin casting rods. The button on the rod would keep pushing against the edge of the rod mount, releasing the line on it's own. The price was great and it was still good for other rod types. If I needed more, I would probably buy a flush mount again.
The rivet grip range is 1/6" It is in diameter of 3/16". The kayak seat is made of high quality material and is safe. The thick foam cushion can support water sports for a long time. Extra storage is offered with a waterproof bag at the back. The seat is made of reinforced front and rear straps that can be fixed in place according to the needs of the boat or kayak. TheFoam filled seat brings unparalleled comfort, high back design is in line with ergonomics. The anti-slip design keeps the seat in place. It is better to have a padded back that fits the body curve. It is easy to install and remove the padded seat, the connecting snaps of the straps on the attachment point of the kayak or boat, and the upper straps make adjustments to the back panel, just like the seat. They will provide you with satisfactory after-sales protection. Your purchase includes a hassle-free Money Back Guarantee. If the kayak seat gets damaged, they are willing to replace it for free.
👤I have owned many different types of seats. I've tried everything. I would purchase this again because it is a quality seat. It is made from high quality materials. It is comfortable.
👤It's difficult to find a balance of being light weight, functional and comfortable at the same time. The seat is great, but if you plan on being out on the water for a long time, you might need a little cushion on the bottom part of the seal to help your tailbone. The back support is great, but when it comes to how much you push through the seat and hit the plastic of the kayak, it does depress it. My 14 year old daughter was riding it. I don't know how this would be with my 220 lbs in the seat. It folds down nicely and the backpack is a big plus, but you should think about buying a seat for more comfort and support, because it does fold down nicely.
👤The back support got loose from the plastic holders when my cushion came off. Needed a new combo seat. The fit was perfect. I am happy with the purchase and it is very comfortable. I did some modifications to the seat on an old sit-in kayak. I put some Marine Goop around the seams of the stitching and let it dry for 24 hours. I used a drill bit to make a hole in the seat. The seat was popped and sandwiched to the kayak. The seat is secure and it looks great, as well as providing a comfortable ride on the water.
👤Great back support. I could sit on my kayak for 3 hours straight without hurting my back.
👤I was able to secure the seat with the snap hooks and slip the backpack over the original seat back, even though I could not use the seat with my original seat removed. I haven't used it in the water yet, but have sat in the kayak with the seat. I like that I can easily remove it to protect it from UV rays when not in use. The kayak is a 10' Perception Pescador.
👤The product has a lot of potential, but falls short because of the cheap clasps. Something that could stand water and sand is like Flimsy little junky clips. The clasps were barely able to be opened after one use. They are the type of things that require you to break your nails to try and pull it down through the sand, which is annoying. The seat is comfortable. The straps are not easy to adjust once in, and they are not positioned right to hook up on just any kayak. They have a pouch on the back that seems to be water resistant, but on one of the sides. Either the bag is water resistant or not. This was a careless design decision. I would shop around before buying these again. I have to spend more money to replace the junky clasps with something more appropriate for a kayak.
We offer a one year warranty against product defects. It's secured via bungee to the cockpit rim. The Pungo model kayaks are compatible. The bag has a key fob. The dimensions are 17” x 17.25”
👤I am in love with this item. It brought my paddle experience to a whole new level.
👤Fit is perfect. Adding a nice looking console with a little added watertight storage area and a couple of small handy compartments is a great solution. I own two of these. I set mine up for fishing and kayaking in the dark. I put in a main power switch, a dimmer switch for a bow search light, 3 waterproof 12v dc switches to control a navigation bow light, and a green light inside my kayak. The console area has a 7Ah battery that fits inside. I love it.
👤The front passenger in our tandem kayak will be able to use some nice features thanks to this console. Having a spot for snacks, water bottle, found objects, and other amusements is very helpful on an outing because the front passenger is a 5 year old. I dropped a star because the console is expensive. It will last a long time if you have luck. We could modify it a bit for fishing expeditions.
👤I own two kayaks. It fit perfectly on the Perception Prodigy. It did not fit on the Wilderness Systems 105. It is kept on with bungee cords that go around the cockpit gunnel. It would be nice if it was secured underneath. It is easy to put on and take off if I take it off on the roof of my truck because I don't trust the bungee cords. The dashboard does remove some of the open space in the cockpit. If you were over 6 feet 1 inch tall, I could see it becoming a problem. I'm 5 feet 10 inches tall. It didn't fit on a boat from Menard's.
👤Unless you do some modifications on the kayak and the console, this will not fit a Pelican Pursuit 100 Dlx. I used a thin piece of cardboard to map the round drywall from the bottom. A sharpie was used to trace the outside of the kayak. The pattern was cut out with a jigsaw. The outter lip of the kayak has a front edge. Next problem is that the storage space on top, right and left will be sitting on the kayak lip. I'm okay with that. I am not cutting into them. The front plate of the console is directly above your knees and it will take a long time to get out of the kayak and scraps my legs. I marked it left to right and then jigsawed it off. I smoothed out the edges and didn't have any more scraps to the legs or shins. I haven't used this on the water to find out the drywell's ability to stay dry. The mod time and fitting has made the console durable and it has been worth it.
👤The latest Konsole that came with my Pungo 125 was replaced by the original version of the WS Kayak Konsole. The old Orix hatch compartment is useful for my purposes because it's easier to install and remove and has no need for a battery slot. I borrowed and tried a Konsole on my Pungo 125 before ordering one from Amazon. I tried the borrowed Konsole on a new Pungo 120 and it fit quite well, even though the difference in comb dimensions are minimal. I attached a small piece of wood below the comb and screws through the compartment holes to add stability to the Konsole. I wouldn't fish for stripers in saltwater with this set-up, but it's fine for smaller species of freshwater. I wish Wildenrness Systems would offer the option of choosing one of the two versions, as I carry a flip phone and a DSLR when paddling. My feet are in the shade thanks to this Konsole.
A plastic storage box is included in all MadBite Fishing Tackle Kits to make it easier to get to the lake or river. The see-through lids allow you to see your tackle before you open it. These plastic boxes are great for bass fishing or trout fishing, they fit in backpacks, tackle bags, boats and more. The Cockpit is designed for comfort and space. The dimensions are: The maximum weight capacity is 400 pounds. Directional stability can be achieved with aremovable SKEG. In case of an emergency bright yellow color helps visibility. Explorer k2 is made for smaller bodies of water.
👤We are experienced Kayakers who have other hard sit on top and sit in kayaks. This was the first inflatable we had. Our purchase turned out to be a great one. We use it because we don't have to carry our expensive kayaks on our vehicle for hundreds or thousands of miles, and worry about them being stolen when we camp. We have used the Intex Explorer on the ocean inlet canals and it works great. The water is smooth. Our limit is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before we feel cramped and need to take a break. I am 6'8" and my wife is 5'8". The kayak is short for two people, but anything longer is more money and we make due. The Explorer K2 tracks well when using good paddling technique. It tracks very straight when we paddle hard and fast. The rear will start to swing out when it stops paddling. It's not a big deal. The materials seem to be durable. The only things we would like to change are the inflation valves on the floor and the front and rear bow and stern covers. The cheap flip out valves are used on inflatable pool toys. The nice valves that don't let air escape when you pull the air pump out are the ones that inflate the sides. Again, for the price point, we think they have to cut corners somewhere. This is an amazing value for the money. deflation is even quicker with set up and inflation using the included pump. We may upgrade to a longer inflatable kayak at some point if we start using the Intex more and more. We would buy it today if it was made by Intex. The Explorer K2 is a good way to go if you want the convenience of a kayak, and you want to save money. Click Yes if you found this review helpful. Thanks a lot, Willy C.
👤I inflated it in my living room, but there wasn't a stream or a river in the box. I think I have to add my own. I tried to put it in the bathtub, but it wasn't big enough. I tripped over an oar and pulled my shower curtain down. I hit my head on the side of the kayak, which was good. I couldn't get out of the tub because my legs were stuck in the shower curtain and the kayak was on top of me. My dog licked my face after he thought it was funny. I turned on the shower when I grabbed for something. I pretended my lawn was a level 4 white waters thing after I got the bathroom aired out. The sprinklers were activated in the middle of it all. The dog jumped on me again. I strapped the thing to the top of my car and drove to the nearest mountain stream. The kayak was both inflatable and deflatable. The wind was trying to pull the kayak up off the car, but I tied it tight so it wouldn't move. It's a bad thing on mountain roads. The car went off the side and rolled over, landing on its top in a mountain stream. We floated all the way back down through Golden, past the Coors factory, and out the east side of Denver, after the car upside down on the kayak and the mess in the stream. The car was totaled. The kayak was great. I think it's a good idea. Make sure you deflate the mountain stream before tying it to the top of your car.
The inner diameter is Approx. 7.5 inch. 45mm inside tube. The quality construction includes UV protected material, welded seams, and a hook-&-loop-close flap to protect against rain, snow, heat, heavy winds, and other extreme conditions. 👤We traveled from the mountains of NC to the OBX of NC and back. We had a 3 piece wheeled luggage set with two other large bags and 2 body boards. This thing was loaded full but not too full. We could have filled it up with soft items, like deflated inflatables or pillows. I didn't want to push it. It's easy to install on a hard top car. The bags should be clear of debris on the bottom and the car should be washed to prevent scratching. Before throwing the car on it's side, unZIP the back. Then put the product in the bag and zip it up. You can loop the ties through the buckles and then the car stripping with the doors open. Before you tighten the straps, close the door. Once the door is closed, tighten it down. The strap won't come off the stripping when you open the door. If you tighten it with the door open, the hook could loosen and cause injury to your face or stripping. There are hints: 1) This will increase your fuel use. I noticed that my car was getting more mileage with this than I normally do, and I was able to save money. There are two more The front seats of your car have wind in them. We used gorilla tape on the interior of the stripping and it was not bad. When you make a pit stop, you will have to put the tape back on. Duck does not have the same thickness as gorilla. We stopped at Dollar General for gorilla. We had to pack for both the summer and winter because we were in NC, but this was a life saver because we only had to drive for 7 hours to get to the beach. While on the banks, we packed our beach gear and other items in the trunk, so that we had everything at hand. A Northeaster and Gulf Stream depression hit the coast for 3 days and turned into a tropical storm which sent 25 foot waves over the dunes onto the only highway we were driving on. The bag was covered in sand and salty ocean water for days. During the worst of the storm, my car was hydroplaned onto my door as we drove through high standing water. There was no item in the bag that was wet. Not one. The towels were not wet from the dryer. I was surprised. The thing was battle tested. I left the bag on top of my car when the rain was sideways and not phased at all. I was amazed by the quality of the bag. I was not paid to give a review.
👤We loaded up for our trip from Florida to Tennessee after I was impressed by the thickness of the material. We went through a lot of rain, but everything worked out. It held up well and did not leak. We loaded up for our trip home after our vacation. All was good. The material did not hold up well when we took out our luggage. The carrier was fully secured, did not move, and was not rubbing on anything. It was not over stuffed because it was about 75% filled. It flapped in the wind because it was not empty. It did not hold up well, but I am not sure why it ripped and wore so badly. I'm stuck with it because it has a short window for returns.
It's easy to drain, fast to dry and free of tangles. Application: The rivet kit and kayak pad eyes can be used for kayak equipment. 10 Pad Eyes The kayak pad eyes are made from injected molede plastic and have high attachment points for seats, leashes, etc. 20 Rivets. The rivet grip is 1/6" in diameter. High-Quality: Made of aluminum rivets are waterproof, strong, and resistant to damage, for mounting hardwares where you don't have access to the back side of a fastening. There is a nylon bungee deck loop and a Tri-Grip rivet for waterproof kayaks.
👤The black plastic pad eyes my son was going to use on his Lifetime Wave youth kayak were the same ones I bought for his kayak so we could install a seat. Everything is the same size. It was very easy to install using a drill and a rivet gun. You will need a drill bit and rivet attachment for your rivet gun, because these are 3/16” in diameter.
👤Hold downs where you need them and modify your kayak. Great value! It's easy to install, just a drill and rivet gun.
👤It's easy to install. Sturdy grip. Tie downs are nice to have.
👤I used the pad eyes for fishing gear.
👤Materiales de buena calidad, idénticos, a los that vienen instaladas de fabrica en el Kayak, fciles de instalar, a la perfeccin.
A special method for securing kayak paddle. It works with most kayaks. Stronger than other kayak paddle holders. Storage is used for fishing nets or kayak paddle storage. The paddle clip is able to hold your paddle firmly.
👤The product is good for money. The paddle is in place on my kayak. It hasn't come off once dragged around.
👤It is very easy to install a kayak. I also worked exactly how I wanted them. The paddles got in the way when I was fishing. We changed how we fished.
👤It is great for what it is. I received the clips quickly. They hold the paddles very firmly but there is a bit of a snap to it so you have to be careful if you are fishing. When the boat snaps into place, they tend to pop the oars. I am happy with my purchase. The set has screws and rubber compression fittings. The extra hardware was an added bonus.
👤This was easy to install. It holds my paddle tight and is very sturdy.
👤I put one on the side of my yak. The screws seemed to be the easier choice than the bolts and rubber sleeves. The holder has a very strong grip on the paddle handle. If you want to install, note where you grab your yak to lift and carry it along the cockpit. You should not put the holder where you will put your hand. You can learn from my mistake.
👤I was afraid they would scratch my legs if I got in and out of the kayak because they stuck up on the edge. We have a 2 person kayak and we want to make sure they don't get in and out of the kayak. We didn't return them because they work great for storing paddles on the side wall of our house. I'm thinking about getting more. To keep the kayak paddles secure while traveling and up off the floor, we mounted the 2 halves of the kayak to the toyhauler garage walls.
👤I could not be happier with my mount. It's nice to have two mounting options. The screws are ok. I used the compression nuts supplied for a very solid mounting.
