1. ABN Universal Kayak Carrier Paddleboards

ABN Universal Kayak Carrier Paddleboards

Proper use and caution are required when using the spring-loaded clamps. Don't put hot liquids in the cup. They have a three year warranty and you can email them for help. You can use the boat carrier to carry your kayak, canoe, paddle board, float mat, or jon boat. It's durable and has a 200 pound weight limit, but it's also keeping the carrying weight at a minimum. The design of the tires allows for smooth movement across rough surfaces such as sand, gravel, and through wooded areas. The bumper pads are large enough to protect your vessel from scratches or dents, and the tie down strap is large enough to hold your vessel. The carrier can be stored in a large backpack or in your vessel while on the water, and the tires can be easily removed with the lynch pin. 👤I would like to clarify a few points I've seen in other reviews. I had one of the $100 carts. Although it looks the same in pictures, it's a little bigger than this cart, so these cheaper carts are not necessarily the same as the expensive ones. I returned the expensive one because it had no advantage. I prefer the inflatable tires over the solid tire. Some people have complained about the tire smell, but my tires didn't have a strong smell. The inside of the box had an odor, but when I removed the tires their odor was only mild and it went away in a day. I almost gave up on inflating the tires because I couldn't find a chuck for the valve stems. I checked the pumps at my house and the stores. It needs an old fashioned screw-on fitting but it's almost impossible to find them these days. I pulled the stem up with some needle nose pliers and attached my compressor hose. The cross bars that support the canoe are V shaped, and like the other carts, the V isn't deep enough for my Coleman Scanoe's keel. The canoe tips from side to side when the keel hits the support bars. I deducted a star because of that. I made a small modification that worked well to overcome this. I screwed 2X4's across the support bars to raise them after cutting off the foam padding. The 2x4's were snug on each side of the keel so the cart always lines up centered and straight. I stapled the foam pads to the 2x4's to hold the canoe. I use heavy rubber bungee cords to hold the cart to the canoe. The Scanoe with the electric motor, battery, outriggers, throttle, steering, paddles, PFDs, and other items is just under 160 lbs. I put the cart near the center to make it easy to pull it around. I launch about 200 yards from the river. The cart stays in place despite the rough parts of the path. It's a pleasure to use. I put the cart on top of my SUV when I take my canoe out.

👤We have a kayak that weighs 65 pounds. We bought this to get it to the water. The kayak won't stay centered on it no matter where you put it or how tight you strap it on. The kayak will fall off in a few moments. I don't like this device. I could have built 4 carts myself that would have worked 10 times better for the price I paid.

👤I almost didn't buy this after reading a lot of reviews. I am glad I did. I can help with good placement. If you want to get the most flush placement, slide the carrier until you flip your kayak over. You can use something on your kayak as a marker. It's easy to place when right-side up. I wrapped the tie in the middle and went around the bars and the carrier strap. The front or back of the tie should be where it ends. I ran zip ties through the center strap. I wouldn't have to do that many times. When I put my kayak on the carrier, I just align the wheels to my marker, pull the 2 tie down ends over, and tighten. I use it on small limbs, blocks and oyster shells. No issues.

2. SeaSense X TREME KAYAK PADDLE BLACK

SeaSense X TREME KAYAK PADDLE BLACK

ALUMINUM SHAFT. The lightweight, strong aluminum shaft has 3M Versafit over the oval grip area for a comfortable, confident hand control and no blisters. Two piece construction. Black plastic blades. There are different types of Drip Guards.

Brand: Seasense

👤This is the paddle I bought to replace the stock one. I thought spending more on the paddle than I did the entire kayak was stupid, but I really wanted a carbon-shaft. The Sea Sense X-1 is here. I can pull a steam engine in my inflatable kayak if I dig the paddle in at a full 8 feet. The fit and finish on the shaft and blades is very good. The foam grips are not moving. I weigh 180 lbs. I was able to pull as hard as I could for over 30 minutes without any noticeable give in the shaft or blades. How can a paddle cost so much? I think it's because aluminum is so easy to machine nowadays and that a kayak paddle is a relatively simple product to make. I've kayaked for over 20 years, paddling in nasty ocean swells across Boston Harbor, loaded and unloaded, with and without passengers, and this is the best paddle I've used so far.

👤I almost feel bad for my one star as so many love it. The curved blade is a good idea until you use it to rudder or push out from the rear for a hard turn or to back-pedal; one has to turn it 180 or the curve greatly reduces the effectiveness of your stroke.

👤The paddle was very good. I have an Intex K1 kayak that came with a bad paddle, so I decided to give this paddle a try after reading the great reviews. Without exageration, I was able to go a lot faster and row a minimum of 2x as far. If you plan to be out on the water for less than an hour, this is a great paddle. If you plan to be out a lot longer, then you need kayaking gloves unless you want to get blisters, which I found out the hard way. The only other option is to pay 2x the amount for a paddle that's gentle to the hands for a long period of time. I've been able to go out on the water for up to 3 hours at a time without blisters, even though my paddle doesn't make me go much faster. I don't think there's a better option for this price point.

👤It was light and strong for me. The 96” model fits me very well, I am about 6'3” The paddle was great for my fishing kayak and my white-water kayak. The padded grip and anti-drip devices are very effective. The blade shape is very effective. I switched from a one-piece paddle that was $300 to this one, and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner. I keep the expensive paddle for front-seat guests on the open kayak.

👤The kayak paddle is a good deal. The paddle that came with my kayak was shorter. It isn't as good as some of the more expensive paddles. The design of the paddle causes it to connect in different ways. I wish I had spent more money on a nicer paddle that had the twist together halves that thread into each other that made a much more firm connection. Good value but not the best.

3. Shoreline Marine Propel Paddle Rubber

Shoreline Marine Propel Paddle Rubber

There are boat accessories. The Propel Paddle Rubber Paddle Clips can be used to secure the paddles. The clips are designed to save your paddles from slipping away and also save your efforts while rowing, anchoring, or fishing. Highly functioning. The kayak fishing accessory is small and lightweight, so you can carry it on your adventure sports equipment. You can place your paddle in the holders when you're not using it. There is a wide application. The clips are suitable for kayaks, canoes, pontoons, and boats. The rubber clips are easy to mount on the side or deck of your boat. You can use the clips to access the paddles. DIMENSIONS The set of 2 kayak paddle holders is 1.5 inches in length. These rubber clips are great for resting or fishing. They can help you store your paddle. Calculus outdoors is a leading manufacturer of consumer products for the outdoor sports and recreation market.

Brand: Propel Paddle Gear By Shoreline Marine

👤The kayak had a built in paddle holder, so I didn't realize it. They were installed as an addition on the side of the kayak, but later took them off due to interference in paddling. They recommend using small washers behind the screw head because they will pull through the rubber if overtightened. They were easy to get in and out of the clamps. They can be put on the front of the kayak to hold the paddle when stopped in water.

👤I bought this to hold my paddle in place while fishing. I trimmed off some of the mounts so that it wouldn't clip into place, but I wanted to keep the paddle from rolling off the kayak. So far, so good! I have not had any issues so far, the only issue I had was that I tightened a screw too much on one side and the mount was pulled off the other side.

👤Our kayaks have a great addition. Our kayaks had grooves to hold the paddles, but they weren't very secure. I wanted something that was more secure. These are perfect. They are a sturdy rubber that gives a good grip on the paddle handle, but they are flexible enough to fit any paddle handle size. It's easy to install and fix our kayaks.

👤The screw head pulled through and I had to use a different method for holding my kayak paddle. I will have to add washers to the screws when I put them back on my kayak next year.

👤IRipped them off second time out, after I really liked them initially. If you put a force on these that causes them to slide into the back of your truck or the edge of the ground, it will rip the screws through the rubber and leave you with no paddle holder or screw in the side of your kayak. If you don't use your kayak a lot, they may last. I think these could be greatly improved if they could make a surface area large enough for a washer to be placed with the screw.

👤It was easy to install, but could not rivet. The paddle is attached to the side of the boat. It was worth the money.

👤Don't go to the lake without your oars. The locks fit on the trailer very well. I love these brackets.

👤These are 1 1/2 wide. The paddle is too small for the clips. Will not fit. AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL ROCKS, even though I was bad for ordering.

4. NRS Chinook Fishing Lifejacket Charcoal XL

NRS Chinook Fishing Lifejacket Charcoal XL

A comfortable fishing lifejacket is provided to make your fishing experience better. It was designed to fit in the back and be roomy in the front. The foam fits your body type. You can tailor it to fit your body each time. There are 2 large pockets, 2 accessory pockets, and 1 tool holder pocket that let you keep all of your fishing essentials close by.

Brand: Nrs

👤I ordered the Large/Extra Large, I am 5”11 and 195 pounds. It fits me snug with a t shirt on and gives me plenty of room to adjust for a hooded sweatshirt or jacket. The high back of the PFD doesn't hit the seat, which is nice. There were pockets that were easy to access. I used the plier holder pocket. I felt very mobile when casting and net fishing. I wore it for 5 hours and it was very comfortable.

👤I ordered a fishing accessory. The size fits me perfectly, I'm 5'5" and 145 lbs. I can move my hands in any direction I want. I can turn around my upper body on the sides without feeling constraints or restrictions. I think I should be able to row and fish. I tested the safety of the kayak and it will be good if I fall into the water. I did my testing in the water. I did the test from three different positions, sitting, kneeling and standing, where I could fall from the kayak and into the water. I could have fallen on my side, backward with the back of the head into the water, or forward into the water. After falling on my side, my upper body turned upside down, with my face facing the sky. If I fall on side and lose consciousness, this will allow me to regain consciousness. My body assumed a straight position after I fell backward into the water. My lower body, from the waist down to my feet, began to float upward and my body assumed a semi-supine position and my face was facing the sky. If I fall on side and lose consciousness, this will allow me to regain consciousness. My body assumed a straight position after I fell into the water. My lower body, from the waist down to my feet, began to float upward and my body assumed an upside-down position with my face in the water. If I fell down into this position and lost my consciousness, I might drown since my face is in the water. If I raise my head up, my face is facing the sky. When I raised my head, my upper body turned to the side and I could breathe. In case someone falls into the water and loses consciousness, hopefully something can be done. As long as you don't lose consciousness during the fall, the PFD did its job.

👤I have a hair over 6' and 295#. I have extra strap on both sides. This will work for the 3xl guys. I've been fishing in the 90 degree weather and it has not made me want to take it off.

👤After trying to buy this PFD from 3 different vendors, OutdoorPlay finally delivered! Everyone was out of the more common sizes when supplies ran low. When they said, it was delivered. I know why this model was in short supply. The Chinook is very small for a PFD in the Large/XL size. I wanted to be visible on the water so I went with the red color. I can't wait to try it out. I have had to use a cheap PFD from Academy all summer long and I can't wait to use a PFD that is actually made for kayak fishing.

5. SeaSense TREME PADDLE 008680 Inches

SeaSense TREME PADDLE 008680 Inches

Two piece construction. Black plastic blades. There are foam rubber grips.

Brand: Seasense

👤I got these for my new kayak and was excited to go out on the lake. They felt great out of the box, however there was a glaring issue that made me send them back after the first use. The foam grip pads got "lubed up" just enough to move down the pole. It's not incredibly loose like, but just enough little by little, paddle by paddle that halfway through my outing is when I noticed. One pad slid down slowly and covered the joint in the middle. It was impossible to move or twist it back up to where it was because it was wet. It was stuck in the middle for the rest of the outing. I couldn't depress the button hard enough to separate the two pieces because of the foam covering them. I was able to separate it and send it back in the box after it dried out. This would be a great paddle and value if this issue is fixed.

👤Several paddles get lost each year when we have 3 kayaks. They get lost on a river, or at a campsite, or get left in the wrong vehicle, or someone else's kayak, etc. We're always looking for cheap paddles. These paddles are in good shape. Kayak paddles are becoming more expensive every day, and I don't need to spend more than $60-$100 on a paddle. I prefer a more rounded blade, but I also prefer $17 to $60. A good paddle for money.

👤This was the first paddle I owned. I couldn't afford a $100 paddle. I could tell you the difference when I was kayaking. The shaft is made of aluminum. You want a shaft made of fiberglass, carbon fiber, or graphite. If you are paddling over a mile, the weight and thickness is important. The blades should not be made of plastic. You want blades made of fiberglass or carbon fiber. The plastic ones have to give a lot. Making you want to paddle more. They would be three times thicker than fiberglass. They cupped them for strength. All efficiency is taken away by this. It will seem like a good buy until you have shoulder surgery. It depends on how much you paddle. If you buy this, you should know that it is not a good idea to use it for long periods of time or distance.

👤I bought this paddle for my girl to accompany me in my kayak because I wasn't going to spend a lot, but when she does it is good for her. I like that it has padding, it makes it easy to grip. It's very light. It comes apart. It's easy to store. It does what it's supposed to do and it's a good price.

👤A good price for a paddle. I was too afraid to leave it floating for too long, so I will float for a little while. I would probably get gloves for longer trips, but it feels good in my hands. Light and easy to maneuver. No more than expected, but definitely drips some water. I've never used a paddle that dripped less than this one, and I've never used a high-end paddle before.

6. Bending Branches 2 Piece Snap Button Fishing

Bending Branches 2 Piece Snap Button Fishing

Measure the length of your catch with the tape measure on the shaft. Measure your keeper right on your paddle, you don't have to struggle with additional tools and items onboard. Alterations of construction are available. The kayak fishing specific paddle can easily be separated into two pieces for travel and storage. A snug-fitting 3 hole snap-button ferrule can be adjusted for feathering angles 0 and 60. PADDLE ENDING AND LONGER: The fiberglass-reinforced blades offer a perfect blend of lightweight performance and durability, resulting in smooth paddling with less fatigue, even with a fully loaded kayak. There is a hook-retrival notch. One blade has a hook-retrieval notch that you can use to rescue your line and lure in the event of a bad cast. The hook retrieval system is built right into the blade. Their company is built in Wisconsin and staffed by paddling enthusiasts. The breakage rate for the paddles has been less than 3% since 1982.

Brand: Bending Branches

👤I received a kayak in December of 2020. The tape measure on the shaft is not on. The snap button is off on the right side, which is a problem when trying to measure striped bass. Since this is being sold through a third party, you will not receive any help. Unfortunately we do not process exchanges as a third party vendor on Amazon. Please contact the branches directly to adjudicate any issues. They were very helpful. Excellent customer service!

👤I bought the kayak paddle after watching a video on the merits. I wanted a good paddle to match my kayak. I ordered a 250 mil paddle from the bending branches online page. I chose the right size and it worked well. The paddle is not as light as the carbon model my daughter has but is well balanced and has an oval shaft for better fit. If you prefer, it has adjustments to feather. The connection was set at standard and I was able to paddle with ease.

👤The paddle setup is great for beginners and I could have gone 1-2 steps up for the kayak's 34" beam. The idea of carbon or fiberglass as the shaft seems pointless if one can't pick up a paddle with aluminum as the shaft. The paddle is doing a good job. The terrain where I fish is unforgiving and this paddle doesn't have a mark on it yet. The plan is to wear them out.

👤The bending branches angler scout is a great paddle. I did not spend more for a paddle than I did for my kayak. I have a perception rambler. The paddle had good ratings and I didn't break my bank with it. I am very pleased with how comfortable it is over less expensive paddles. It is worth the difference at 99. I ordered my husband one.

👤I just bought a kayak. A boat needs a new paddle. The paddle is perfect for my height and width. The paddle is light and good for the blades. Two of my sons tried the paddle and were impressed. The value is great.

👤This has a ruler that you can use to quickly measure your catch and hook. The paddle is great for the price. I wouldn't expect it to hold up to much abuse against rocks and it's certainly much heavier than fiberglass or carbon alternatives.

👤I bought a kayak and paddle in green at a mom and pop shop a few years ago and really liked them. I bought a spare kayak for cheap on Black Friday and ordered the orange one from Amazon so I could match it with the kayak. There is no hook retrieval notch cut like advertised and my green one does. The ruler of the paddle appears to be off and not the same as the green one. It appears that this one has been shuffled around the storage facility with some scratches on it, which isn't a huge deal since it's made for outside and will get more use. It is not going to be a problem for me to return but it is a let down. I would like to go back to the mom and pop shop.

7. Yakattack RotoGrip Paddle Holder Track

Yakattack RotoGrip Paddle Holder Track

There is a warranty. Free replacement, one year warranty. Attaching the mightybolt to the kayak track.

Brand: Yakattack

👤These work well on my kayak. I do a lot of river fishing and I wanted to keep my paddle close, but not be in the way while I was fishing. I was able to use my fishing poles without restrictions because of these. I would recommend buying two of them. I bought two because of the reviews I was seeing, but tried one to see how it would work. If your paddle is a little on the thick side, it will slip out. Two hold it in.

👤After installation, I realized I needed one because I can set the paddle parallel to the kayak with no problems. I put the second one on the wife's kayak. The paddle holder took a direct hit to the concrete when I put the yak up on the SUV. I inspected the damage and even though one of the roto-grips came off, it went back on. It's worth the price for more space.

👤This was mounted on my boat. Adding a paddle park bungie on the bow gave me more security since I wouldn't lose my paddle. The paddle holder can be positioned at the angle that works best for you, and it takes up very little real estate on the track. It holds my paddle well and I don't have to worry about losing it. It is worth the money.

👤I was not happy to open the package that had a single RotoGrip. The system is designed for two people to use. Two of the photos are in the sellers gallery. I have to order a second one. Under product info, it states one item. It takes two to work, so I thought they meant 1 Pair. These fit perfectly on my Heritage Angler 10 kayak. It fits my paddle perfectly, so it's in place when I use my net or if I need to move.

👤When I need two hands to fish, my kayak has a bungee on the bow. This paddle holder is for my paddle. It's easy to get the paddle in and out of the holder and it feels secure when it's locked in. I would recommend this paddle holder.

👤I fish from a kayak. It's convenient to have this holder so that I can snap my paddle into it and not have to worry about it. Track installation is very easy to do, it is tight and secure. Some people suggested that they needed two of these to hold their paddle. I already have built-in paddle holders on both sides of the kayak for more secure paddle storage. A great accessory for paddling.

👤I've used other paddle holders but this is my favorite. The holder holds the paddle in place and allows for quick adjustments. I have an Ascend paddle and haven't had an issue with tipping or the grip using a single holder. I've used bungie or hard plastic holders in the past, but this style holder is better.

👤I like that I can adjust my paddle by moving these. I use a cord to secure my paddle, but these are more convenient and safer because I can grab my paddle faster. I used two of them to secure my paddle and installed them in less than a minute.

8. Backwater Paddles Assault Hand Paddle

Backwater Paddles Assault Hand Paddle

It is lightweight, compact and floats. OD Green is for a stealthy approach. Patented blade design.

Brand: Backwater Paddle Company

👤What can I say that hasn't been said? I own a pedal powered vehicle. You can read about the features of the Hook and teeth, but just using it as a paddle when you need quick adjustments and don't want to reach for the main paddle is an awesome thing. I can use this to push off until my kayak is fully floating and not damage my main paddle, or until I reach water deep enough to drop my drive shaft, when I'm launching from a shallow beach or boat ramp. This thing is a paddle saver. No matter what type of kayak or canoe you use, highly recommend this. You will find times and uses for it. You will wonder how you did with out once you have one.

👤I don't like writing negative reviews but I have to. The paddle is a great idea, but it isn't worth anything. It doesn't move the kayak or canoe. I thought it would be easier to correct my Kayak when it's windy. Pick up your paddle and correct yourself in a different way.

👤I should have deleted this from my wish list because it was on it for almost 3 years. I'm very disappointed in it. It feels like I'm holding a toy for my kids.

👤My son received a gift for Christmas. It has been used for about six months. He uses it to troll while he's fishing. He said he uses it more than the kayak paddles. It's worth its price.

👤I use this to make quick adjustments in orientation. It's much easier to fight with a long kayak paddle with one hand while casting with the other. It is recommended for anyone who does a lot of fishing from a paddle kayak.

👤I try this in my kayak, but the length is too short to scull in a kayak. The construction and quality of the boat is very nice and would make a great jon boat or canoe.

👤I like this paddle more than my carbon fiber one. The hook is great for grabbing stuff that is out of reach, and the teeth do a great job of pushing it off. If they had one, I would buy a full size assault paddle. I thought I would use this less than I do.

👤It serves its function perfectly. It's a bit larger than I thought, but it's very high-quality and perfect for small adjustments while on the water.

9. AQUA BOUND Hybrid 2 Piece Posi Lok

AQUA BOUND Hybrid 2 Piece Posi Lok

Made in Wisconsin, USA. Like all Aqua-Bound paddles, the Manta Ray 2-piece paddle is built in Wisconsin. There are 2 constructions. The Posi-Lok ferrule makes travel and storage easy with the Manta Ray. fiberglass fibers are stronger than plastic and are reinforced with injection-molded abX II blades. The paddle shaft has a comfortable grip.

Brand: Aqua Bound

👤I played 100 bucks for a paddle that was different from this one. This is the best price you can get for a paddle. If you're in the market for a paddle, make sure you pick the best one you can get. You will upgrade if you have to. I don't go cheap on paddles and PFDs. EFFICIENCY is the biggest thing when talking about paddles. The paddle is very efficient and can be had for less than $200. There is no sharp object. The handle is made of carbon fiber. I don't have any blisters and I don't have any grips. The handle gets hot, but it's easy to fix by dipping it in the water. The white blades are bright. During the day, I don't have an issue but at night, when I have a head lamp on, I can't see myself. It's not a big deal to take off a star.

👤This is my second Aqua Bound paddle. The older lock down was made of plastic and broke when it took a hit. The newer system uses a collar that slides into a fitting. Not infinite but infinitely better. The paddle is great for pushing. It is comfortable and light. It has a balanced blade design that cuts water well during aggressive paddling, and can make a kayak turn like a 10 foot recreational kayak. The blade of this paddle would be great for a tandem. There are better and lighter paddles out there, but they are more expensive. This is a good purchase.

👤Excellent paddle. I bought the 150 for my kayak because I am 6'3". I would order the 140 if I could do it over again. The blades are large. This is not the lightest on a scale of light. This feather is very light. It can be used for both low and high angle paddling. Unless I win the lottery or become a professional paddler, I'll buy Aqua-Bound every time.

👤My wife and I both agree that this is our favorite paddle and that we own two other types. Light weight and strong, the shafts of this hybrid are made of graphite. We decided to use the hybrid style because we felt it would be more durable when we paddle gravel bottomed shallow rivers. The PosiLok system is the best feature. It's easy to adjust and a "click" to take apart. There are more locking points between 0 and 60 degrees than one would ever need, but you really want to modify the angle you have a lot of choices. The light weight of this paddle is great for extending our endurance and we paddle for hours every other week all year long. The price is fair because of the plastic. I would highly recommend it for fresh water and ocean kayaking, we don't paddle above Class II so cannot honestly comment on this paddle for more abusive conditions. If you are a white water paddler, check out other reviews.

👤The package was lost almost immediately after it was ordered. I contacted Backcountry after I noticed the package wasn't progressing and they immediately issued a credit and I ordered another set and they sent it through FedEx. This is an example of great service. The paddle is very lite and looks great.

10. Pelican Kayak Paddle Angler Poseidon

Pelican Kayak Paddle Angler Poseidon

Before using, please tighten the paddle lock and rotate it to make sure it doesn't fall off. There are 2 piece paddle blades, 1 intermediate connecting shaft and 1 T-handle for a total of 4 pieces. If you have a quality problem, please contact their customer team. Their goal is to give the paddlers a good price for their paddle. The kayak paddle is ideal for taller paddlers. This paddle is the perfect match for larger fishing kayaks. The paddle is made of fiberglass and aluminum and has anti-slip grips. This is an excellent value for money because it ensures better performance on the water. This fishing paddle has a high visibility measurement tape along the shaft that will allow you to measure your catch. The Poseidon Angler paddle has a unique shaft design. The right side of the shaft has a rounded shape that tells you where to put your hand. This helps reduce wrist fatigue. The blades can be feathered with a 0/65 angle with the push button system. The wind resistance on the top blade will be reduced if you paddle with offset blades. This makes the paddling experience more comfortable. There are 2 additional flotation blocks in the paddle. If your paddle ends up in the water, you will have no problem retrieving it.

Brand: Pelican

👤A nice paddle. The measuring stick printed on it is very similar to the tape measure. I use it for fishing. The price makes this one hard to beat. A lot of people complain that the right side is out of round orquished, but one review said "I don't want to stab a broom in there to fix it" You know you're in a good position to hit the water. Most of the time, Prob isn't on either side. If you've never had an index on a paddle, don't be dumb and think it's a manufacturing error.

👤Today, I was able to paddle easy against the current, thanks to this. A great paddle. Very strong. The cutouts near the back of the paddle heads allow water to flow off instead of going down the shaft. I never had to use the cutout to get out of tangles because it was supposed to grip onto the fishing line. There are markings on the shaft to measure fish. The paddle shaft feels good to grip. This was the best paddle I've ever used for kayaking, and I highly recommend it.

👤The paddle has worked well. It's strong enough to push off from a bank and light enough that I'm not easily winded going a long distance. Many seem to think it's a flaw. The right side is a little bit oblong. It's a great way to maintain dexterity. The scale is nice, but I'm not sure I'll use it. I recommend it for the price.

👤I think the item I got was decent. I would like to tell you about the item I ordered. The brand of my order was Pelican. It was a cheaper paddle than what I ordered. I needed it for Sunday and I was told it would arrive on a Friday. I was very happy when it got there. I was told the correct order wouldn't arrive until Tuesday. I went to Walmart and got something after asking for a refund. I got a blue one. I would have given it to my girlfriend if I had known it was cheaper than what I ordered.

👤I was sent a damaged paddle and I would love this one. It was replaced with a damaged one. Several people commented on the website that they had purchased one from Amazon and it had the same damage. They were sent a new one with the same damage. The damage is at the grip point for the right hand. The spherical shape has been compressed so that it becomes an ellipse. I almost kept it, but I don't want a paddle that is compromised if I am out camping for the weekend and it fails. I asked if I could be sent one without the damage, but they only wanted to give me the money back. I like the design and feel of the paddle. The guards were not very effective. I recommend this paddle but don't buy it from Amazon.

👤The width of the boat made it necessary for me to use a longer paddle. I have a Bending Branches paddle that I really like but I figured I would give this one a try. I have used it a couple of times and it is a sturdy paddle. It is a right handed paddle design. When you have your paddle feathered, the shaft is designed so that your right hand sits on it and you can work it properly. I used to live in a Right hand world so it doesn't bother me at all. The measurement on the shaft is a sticker and you can feel it when paddling. It is curious about the durability. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, it is a decent paddle.

11. Intex 68309EP Excursion Pro Kayak

Intex 68309EP Excursion Pro Kayak

Additional accessories, such as fish finders and fishing rod holders, can be added to the mounting brackets. A carry bag and repair patch are included. Storage space in bow and stern with d rings for tying down dry bags and gear. The construction is unaffected by gasoline, oil and salt water. It is very resistant to damage from impact and sunlight. It allows more air pressure for rigidity. The pump and aluminum Oars are included.

Brand: Intex

👤I bought the intex Explorer and Excursion Pro at the same time. I think the Excursion Pro is worth the extra money. The Excursion is made of a heavier ruberized textile than the Explorer. I'm confident that either kayak will serve you well for occasional recreation. The Excursion is better for long termDurability and Impression of fit and finish. I have never owned a kayak. I've paddled a few. I've traveled hundreds of miles in a canoe. Both kayaks respond quickly to paddling. If you're going to use the Excursion Pro for fishing, you should note one thing. The rod holders are pointing in a different direction. If you put a rod in one of the rod holders, it will cross. The rod holders are useless for fishing or transport. I added a couple of rod holders to solve the problem. They work great with the included accesory rail. I'm not a fan of the paddle because of my canoe experience. I'll probably switch to a canoe paddle or try a longer kayak paddle. Everything else is better than expected. The seatinging in both kayaks can be set up for one or two people. The seats are comfortable. The foot rests work well. The pump nozzle and pressure gauge lock into the valves, which is a feature that is not found on the explorer. I'll be ordering the Excursion pro seat pad if intex will sell me one, it's a must have in my opinion. I'm very pleased with both. If you can afford it, buy the Excursion Pro. The kayak looks like a much higher end kayak than the explorer. If you have a tight budget, both kayaks will put a smile on your face and paddle well. I added a fish finder to the plano 1364 tackle box. There is plenty of room for the battery in the tackle box. I used a piece of aluminum stock and a few nuts to fix the transducer. The thing is a fishing machine. If you don't buy an anchor, you're going to wish you did.

👤The kayak had two issues. The gauge had a broken needle and one seat wouldn't hold air. The company told me the parts were not under warranty. I packed it up and sent it back after I had it for a week. The representative was rude and didn't have any options to fix or replace the kayak.

👤At Christmas, I got this KAYAK, but it is now un-repairable. No one is going to offer a replacement or guarantee. Everyone is watching us when we contact them. Customer service is TERRIBLEKAYAK - not worth the money.

👤The kayak has a lot of scratches and scratches on it, but it's not leaking air yet. All items in the box were previously opened and taped back. This is not a new item. I would not order it at the full price of the new one if I knew it was opened/re-packs.

👤The inner polyester core is exposed by the major crinkles and cuts out of the box. The pictures are from two Kayaks, the first was good and the second was bad. It is unacceptable that at almost 500$ per Kayak. I lost my time trying to get Intex to wash it off. I bought a 2 year protection plan as I want to have fun with my wife and kids and not deal with claims all summer. You need to purchase your glue if you come with a 90 day warranty and patches.
