The clear balloon string is kept neat and ready to use when you need it by winding it in a plastic roller. 40 lbs of high knot strength is 888-282-0465, Clear, 50 yd (46 m)
👤I used the clear fishing line to hang my planters from the ceiling. It worked well. I wanted a clean look. I have had it hung for a long time without any issues. Highly recommended!
👤It is easy to fit through bead holes. It works better at a nicer price. It is very easy to knot. If they are going to be used with heavier pendants, they are great to use for bead necklaces. The line feels very secure with a lot of valuable pieces. The way the line is packaged makes it easy to keep straight and store. Highly recommended.
👤I use it for fishing. I use it to hold the bait in place and put through my soft plastics. 40lb test is for my hooks. The baits are kept from sliding off and give you a longer lifespan. The mono line will keep doing the job even when it gets old.
👤It's not all clear, has markings to measure length. Useful for the intended purpose, but not if you expect it to be clear for other purposes.
👤It's lightweight, strong and invisible and I love it for decorations.
Both professional and amateur fishermen use it. Strong and stable. Made using the highest quality components. The Knot Strength is Superior.
👤I have caught many different types of fish on P-line. I use a lot of weight. The reviewers don't know what they're doing. There is a person with a little Sienna reel. I own a reel that holds 4-7lb line and they're using a lot of it and complaining that it bird nest! Where is your common sense? You will be fine if you use the recommended yards and lbs for your reel. The cheaper P-line brands are worth it if you want the best bang for your buck. I catch fish with this line. You can buy the best stuff, but still have problems with it. At the end of the day, it's all about the reel and the angler. Light line and heavy lures will stretch the line and ruin the memory of it, so it will be no good until you take the amount you are casting with off. You are going to have problems doing that if people use heavier line with light lures. People are funny. The lines are tight.
👤I've used Pline for 13 years since a friend lent me a spool. I've tried other lines which were not as reliable. I know how much memory is unimportant. I've spent a lot of money on high end lines and generic Walmart garbage, but I've always had trouble with line memory. I have also experienced line failure syndrome. Hey... The line was put on last month. Go to P-line. My son made a few beginner mistakes when he was learning how to spool a line. Some reviewers blame their problems on line memory due to their over spooling the line. You should stop blaming the line on your greedy habits. P-line has never shown me any memory on a test. My favorite fishing discipline is ultra light, so I use a cheap 5' Berkeley wood rod and inexpensive Okuma Ultralite reel. Fishing a creek in the cedar swamp woods in Central Florida presents a lot of challenging situations. If you want to cast a small lure into a certain spot, some times you have to lean over, bend, stand sideways, cast under arm. Also. Some times you goof. Pline has a good anti abrasion property. It's dependability is what shines for me. There are a few instances where Pline has surprised me, but the most important is when I've caught bass in a small creek full of blue gill, stump knockers and War mouth perch. It's always a surprise when I hook a bass. If I catch a bass in the creek it doesn't worry me because I'm steering away from the safety of the structure. Tire em out. I was out last week on the way home and decided to stop the truck and go fishing in a very tricky spot between two structures in hopes of catching a big bluegill. I caught the biggest bass I've ever caught in the creek. The water never broke but it wanted to go to the nearby structure. I had to exert more pressure to get the beast away. It would run for the opposite structure after turning. I was trying to not over stress the 5# line. I know I did. The fish gave up about 4 minutes after this and I landed a giant. I released her because she was 1/2 full of eggs and I wanted to raise more monsters. I should have lost that fight because I couldn't figure it out when I released her. P-line dependability!
The line is round, smooth and sensitive. Handling performance is boosted by enhanced body technology. The fiber has incredible abrasion resistance. The strength-to-diameter ratio is high.
👤I received a roll of the line that I think is faulty. There were several breaks after I put it on my reel. They wouldn't do anything because the retailer said it had to be my fault. Amazon wouldn't do anything. The retailer is not authorized by the factory. The manufacturer wouldn't consider a replacement for unauthorized retailers. I don't recommend buying this product from the seller and I'm starting to question doing business with Amazon as well. They want your money and then point the finger at each other.
👤It's hard to get excited about fishing line, but it's pretty amazing. After listening to my friends, I picked up a 30lb spool of fish. The braid is called Power Pro. I was surprised at how small the braid line was. I feel like that is the only part of the purchase that I went wrong. I should have bought 50 or 65lb. I'm not having any issues with 30lb, but seeing how small this stuff is, I don't see any reason to use it. The heavier braid tends to cast better with fewer backlashes. There is a The braid is very well communicated with movement. You feel everything with this line. I can tell if my baits are spinning right away. I can tell if my baits are swimming or being dragged sideways because they got tangled up. Mono is almost strange to me now. I know there are appropriate uses for each type of line, but I prefer using braid over mono or fluorocarbon. This will be the only braid I ever buy. It's strong, Strong, Strong Big thumbs up!
👤I can't understand why someone doesn't put a "born on date" or something on this stuff, this monster spool of 1500 yds has to be 3-6 years old, and it's light green when I put it down, but now it's white. I've been using Power Pro for a long time and never had a batches like this before.
👤The Power Pro Spectra Fiber Braided line was tested in February and it started to show some signs of wear. The liine broke at the tip of my rod when I hooked a fish that could not have been more than 3 lbs. Not what I was expecting from the test. I will use Mono in the future. I decided to give it another chance. Went fishing for catfish with bait. The bait hit the water before the line broke, and I had to use a different rod. Premium products like this rotted crap are not acceptable for any product. The rod and real are new. The line is not being damaged by my equipment. So far, no problem with Trilene Monofilament. I am changing my rating. I will keep the spool to make sure it was the real thing.
👤The bank of the local reservoirs is where I usually fish. There was no leader with a snap swivel. Since I can't just position myself anywhere I want like I was in a boat, I wanted to braid. I put this on a spinning board. I've used this a few times and have no complaints. I put too much on it. The loops would get tangled. I was fine after removing a few yards and re-tied. The color is bright. It seems to be strong. I was caught in a tree. I had to wrap the line around the pliers to get a grip. I was stuck, but good. The line broke at the knot. I put a lot of pressure on it. I would definitely buy Power Pro again after seeing the packaging I received.
Paralleled Roll Track technology makes it easier to handle and cast with the KastKing mono. You can now use nylon line for bass fishing. It is assured that your clear line will remain more invisible than ever and colored monofilament are available for many fishing tactics. The low aeration gives the line less limpness and quicker retrieving, allowing any angler to have peace of mind to fish almost any condition and techniques with confidence. They want to keep fishing fun by keeping it affordable. It is perfect for freshwater or saltwater fishing.
👤I ordered 600 yards of mono and the picture was advertised as 600 yards. Did I get 600 yards? I don't know but it certainly doesn't look like it. Maybe I did... Maybe I didn't... I don't have confidence in the product and it's a misrepresentation of the product being sold. This is the second time in a row that I've not been happy with the products. I bought a reel and it seems to be a decent one... The drag is very sticky and unpleasant to fish with. Maybe for a child... I'm returning this line and won't be buying any more products from KastKing. I wanted to like this company. I'll have to stick with the tried and true brands from now on because they have a lot of good reviews and good prices.
👤I need to cast light jigs over a long distance in some of my crappie spots. Light tackle with a thin line is what this calls for. I don't want to lose lure and fish too easily because there are often big fish there. I settled down on Suffix Siege 6lb after trying different lines. I was surprised when I bought the KastKing and Kodiak reels. I wanted to try the line out. The result is happy again. Compared with the Suffix Siege mono, the premium mono is thinner, stronger, and feels more bite. If not handled properly, the tiny more stiffness could be a challenge for beginners, but it never bothered me. It brings more benefits than challenges. I started to like this line after fishing for about an hour.
👤I was thoroughly impressed by the line I fished with over the weekend. I put the mono on my rods. I fished with a 6'6 light action rod from the 70's and a small weighted bobber throwing crappie jigs on 1/32 jig heads. I was not using a Pflueger high end reel with a St. Croix rod. The line was cast like a dream by the wind. It performed better than I expected after landing on the water. The performance of the Berkely Sensation was67531 on another line that came out curled on the water. The Berkely was spooled at a local sporting goods store, so all things being equal, one would think the Berkley would have an advantage. Not the case at all. I plan to purchase another spool of this line because I am very pleased with it.
👤Cheap line. I lost a Lucky Craft lure and a Daiwa salt pro while surfing in Malibu. I thought my knot was bad after the line snapped. Put a different lure on the first cast. I've been fishing for a long time and never experienced line snapping like this. I wouldn't trust this line to hold up reeling in a fish. Spend your money somewhere else.
👤A student of Bill Varney's Light Line Revolution suggests a red color mono main line. At a beach seminar, I saw how this is to see vs a clear line. After grabbing a jerk bait in jetty rocks, it was very strong. I was pulled more than 12 LB but the line never broke. After fighting this for 1/2 hour, I gave up and cut the line. There are many pro and tour capts. The people have switched to using the products from KastKing. Something should be said in that. I have been using the KastKing lines and 2 Sharky saltwater reels for 2 years. Absolutely no regrets with all of them.
100% fluorocarbon light is similar to water. Nn absorbing fluorocarbon is a superior wet strength. Vanish is the most flexible fluorocarbon.
👤When I opened the package, I ran my fingers up and down the line, doing my usual thing. The entire spool is damaged. It seems as if the line was rubbing on something. I thought maybe it was just part of it. I lined my pole up. I cut the line and it got worse. See the photo. I was not impressed with what I received.
👤I usually only use Berkeley line, but I bought a 6lb spool and it snapped when I tried to tie it to the reel. I ran off the line and tried again. I use a reel to reel in 50-60 yards. The first day out kayak fishing, the line wanted to jump off the reel, which resulted in knots on the reel. Look at pictures. At the end of the day, I had to pull off so much line that I had to knit up the rest in my pocket. I thought I had a bad day. I went to another store and bought a new reel thinking I was unlucky, but I found out that I had the same problems with the new reel. I don't recommend this product and wish I could return it. I have been using the Berkeley Trilene for a long time. The $30 learning experience was bad.
👤I only use this Vanish for leader line. It's great as a leader line. There is a The oldest mono I have laying around is the bottom layer. This is just for a stunt so you don't spend a lot of money on something that won't touch the water. Berkly Fireline is my preferred "braid". The mono backer line is tied to the Fireline. I usually add between three and six feet of this Vanish. I tie on another 3-6' section of Vanish leader line after changing my lures and lengths of leader. I can get between four and 10 lure changes. I haven't gotten to the benefit of the Vanish being nearly invisible in the water because of this. I like it. It gets my recommendation.
👤I just got this line and it broke at the knot when I did the no knot test, but I wish it was better because I would have used it more. Some of the knots that I did put a lot of stress on the line, so it snapped at 18 lbs., so if you complain about the line snapping at 10 lbs, try different knots.
👤The key to landing more fish is a high quality line. I use it on all my reels. I add 3-4 feet of 2lb vanish as a leader on my trout spinning rigs because trout can be picky. I have found that presenting your offering to the fish is more important than what you throw for a lure. I will catch 4-5 trout with a friend who is not using Vanish or other quality flourcarbon line. vanish can only be used with other types of line. They can't see traditional mono and hybrid lines with fluorocarbon line, so they move on. Try it. Live bait for fish? Live bait and vanish is a deadly weapon against larger fish when the water is clear. Try it and be impressed. My personal best trout was a fat 22" Brown trout that I measured and photographed. Highly recommend this line.
Break Strenth: 8LB/3.6kg, dia: 0.011in/.27mm, length: 1700yd/1554m, color: clear SF mono leader materials are strong and durable. It's perfect for freshwater or saltwater fishing. There are low memory characteristics. The reel is very soft and flexible, making it easier to cast and fight fish. Quick, tangle-free availability is provided by the premium spool. Smooth casting resists twists and kinks. Clear lines are available for many fishing tactics. You can use this clear fishing line for hanging decorations.
👤The product was bought in a test. Couldn't find the start to reel in. I would see a cross-spool line on the product when I was spooling. What a mess! Thank you for respecting and returning Amazon customers.
👤It seems to be a good line. I like the green.
👤Good stuff at a good price.
👤3 reels and line for tieing rigs.
👤I was looking for something to make my jug lines. I tie it off and hold on to it for a short time. It is easy to knottie as well.
👤Have used the product many times in the past, but have not had a chance to use it because of rain.
👤The line was horrible. Attempting to string up a pole. Not worth the money or time...
👤This will only cast two full bait casting reels.
👤I should not have put it on the reel because it has a lot of memory when bent and when pulled, but I did. I wish I had returned it. Don't waste your money.
👤I used it at the weekend for fly fishing and it was very good.
👤The line was what we needed.
👤I have been using it for 3 weeks.
👤Very strong, good for a leader of shock. The line has slight quirks in it's memory.
ICAST 2015: KastKing The brand releases a new fishing line. It's a combination of the No.1 selling KastKing Copolymer Fishing Line with high-tech 100% fluorocarbon coating that reduces the line's visibility when immersed in water. The combination of the two materials maximizes the advantage of fluorocarbon invisibility. You can have the same qualities and performance at a lower price. A low cost alternative to fluorocarbon line, the KastKing fluoroKote Fishing Line is a great upgrade from mono line. The smaller diameter of the FluoroKote makes it a stronger line that gives you more reel capacity and increased depth with diving baits. Fishing line sinks faster with low absorption. The fluorocarbon materials make the line extremely durable, offer great knot strength, and exceed in sensitivity. The versatile nature of the line makes it ideal for fishing almost any conditions and techniques.
👤I rarely give bad reviews, but I'm making an exception here. I bought this before I went fishing in Canada. I had three unexplained breakages on that trip, one of which was just getting out a minor tangle and the line fell apart. The first time might have been a mistake. I stopped using the rod for the rest of the trip on the third because I couldn't trust it anymore. It's possible I got an old spool of it from someone who returned it after cooking in their car for a while. I will not buy this stuff again because of the other good options. Your luck will be better...
👤This line is very good. I did some rocky shore fishing over the weekend. I had only one line break when the weight was stuck on the rocks but I pulled up huge pieces of kelp and more than 10 surf perch with each weighing in the range of 1- 1.5lb. I used it as a leader. The shore was filled with rocks and mussels. I believe the breaking point is a little more than 20 lbs because I saw a video that showed the 20 lbs test can lift a 20 lbs kettlebell only snapping after doing a jerking motion to replicate a fish. I highly recommend this line. My setup was a reel and a rod.
👤Very little stretch. I've hit more bass with this line than any other brand. Fast hits and easy hook sets. I don't know what would happen if that doesn't speak volumes. Bass don't touch the line if they can see it. I hit 2 large mouth bass and 1 shoal bass in 5 whole casts after changing to this line, but my son was complaining about being cold. Could it get better? I'm ordering more for my bass rods.
👤Since I started fishing with baitcasting reels, I have been looking for the right line. Mono had a lot of memory, braid wanted to do it for me and regular flurocarbon had the same issues. It is my favorite line I have used so far and I can firmly day it after fishing with it a couple times. Less line memory than mono and traditional flurocarbon, just the right amount of stretch d the invisibility is the same as any other fluro I've used. I bought this for weightless senko fishing. The diameter is close to 10lb mono. I got it stuck in a bush on the first day. It was able to be pulled out without a problem. I wish it had less memory. I don't think this would be as much of a desire on a spinning reel as it is on a larger reel.
👤Even in the small line tests that I have, this line is very strong. I fish in rocky rivers and creek in PA and the Kast King Fluorokote is great for dragging across the rough and very abrasive river beds. It doesn't take long before I get the first cast, because the line disappears in the water. I bought an 8# test for one of my medium light setup to see if I could get a smallmouth bass, because I liked the 4lb so much on my ultralight setup. This line is as tough as Fluorocarbon and softer. Everyone who has tried fluorocarbon should definitely use florokote. I recommend this line for any fish you are targeting.
Casting Superpower braided lines allow you to easily tie a more solid knot and even tie an improved knot. It helps you achieve a better cast and less chance of wind knots. Casting braided fishing line has greater resistance to abrasion. The Superpower Braid line has powers. Super! For superior hook setting that increases your catch ratio, use ultra-high sensitivity and zero stretch. Smaller diameter allows you to use more fishing line on your reel.
👤Avoid at all costs. I needed it fast and it was one of the few braids in a 500yd spool that I purchased. It is impregnated with some kind of dye. The only thing that will clean it is MEK. When I spoiled it, my fingers were black with ink from a ball point pen. I tried MEK and it didn't remove it from my fingers. The Penn 6500 is covered in the same substance. The grey color was offered. The reel bail, roller, and rod eyes need to be cleaned.
👤After going through the ringer twice with this line of braid, I have dedicated it to my fishing crew and picked up a single spool of each color for them. The line is strong and durable. I fish out of Hawaii and have a lot of rocks and reef to deal with. The line has handled multiple instances where I have gotten stuck up on the rocks and needed to apply large force to turn a fish out of a hole, and the line handles each time. The braid has always stood strong while the hook line has always broken at the mono hook line. This braid has passed with flying colors in my experience, and it was put to the test by fishing from the shore. A solid price point for a product. The new pickup of line is showing promise as the last couple times I have tried it, and it is showing as much promise as the last time I tried it. I'm very happy to be trying out all the different colors.
👤kastking claims that the line diameter is 0.18mm, which is the main reason I purchased the 20lb line. I was looking for something similar to maxcuatro in the same line. maxcuatro has a line diameter of 0.19 kastking is almost twice as thick as maxcuatro, if I put the two lines side by side. Since the line is a little stiff, you might struggle with distance at first. It might take some time to break it. Will report back on it's resilience over the next week and see how it holds up with some abuse. Over the past month, I have been using KK enough that it's not for me. I thought the line would loosen up, but it didn't. I lose distance when casting semi- heavy lures. It can be the difference between getting your cast in the "sweet spot" or coming up short.
👤Great line for fishing. Just add a light leader and fish on your main line. Castro camp in Baja, Mexico, uses braided 65# SuperPower line with 40# leader. I caught a Seabass that weighed 62# and was gutted. Just got lucky. The years are pervious. I have gotten 30's and 40's but never bigger. The line was great. TommyTuna.
👤I was skeptical because of the low price. After a full season using this on Lake Michigan, I'm completely sold! Not 1 break off the entire season. The fish don't seem to care that the color fades after a while. I have 26 rods with this line on them. I use it to back on lead core rods and then use a fluorocarbon leader to back up the downrigger and dipsy rods. I don't see why I should invest in anything else when I can do this with the name brand stuff.
100 Fluorocarbon leader. DSF is a double structureluorocarbon. Tensile strength is the best.
👤I'm a hardened ukulele player and wear out a lot of A strings, so I don't fish much. This leader is.0205" in diameter and is ideal for the first string of a concert ukulele. It's a medium tension string. The strings I cut from this leader are smooth and loud. Compared to nylon strings, it is a little brighter and louder. It's much less expensive than most good commercial strings. I'm a happy camper.
👤I caught a lot of fish with this product. I met John Skinner, a fishing author and celebrity, and he mentioned to use fluorocarbon line. I have it. I loved it. Strong, stiff, clear, thin, no stretching. The product is great. . It is more expensive than other lines. Through the use of the line and my rod, it is worth it. I feel the way my rig swims when I cast and reel. I get to feel if my lure is dragging on the bottom, if it is swimming correctly, if there is an edge or a hole, if I get a light or a hard hit, what type of fish it is. I gave it a 5 star review for the success I have gotten. I just ordered a brand of fluorocarbon line from Amazon. I will write another honest review after use. I am getting more line for the money with kastking. If their brand of fluorocarbon line doesn't let me down, I will be disappointed by the baitfeeder sharky 3 reel. I will be happy to spend the extra money on Seaguar fluorocarbon line.
👤I bought this for a tuna fishing trip, and was having trouble getting a good knot. The deckhand was able to easily break 40lb test with his hands after losing a large fish. Seaguar is a great material. I received either a counterfeit or a bad one.
👤The berkley fluorocarbon is less expensive than most tackle boxes and works just as well when it's only 25 yards. Berkly sells 20 pound 100% fluro for 11 bucks and it is in a big container that is hard to take around. The leader line and fluro are the same line so buy the bulk. If you use a leader over and over, the line "leader line" or "regular 100% fluro" will have some nicks and hold the color of the water. Retying your leader every trip will give you the most bites. A fresh mono leader catches more fish than a leader that has been used multiple times.
👤The line is getting old, but it snaps on me. I use an old roll of no-name monofilament in its place and it just feels stronger. I use a 10 pound monofilament that is much stronger than the one I have. I have busted this line 10 times and tightened a knot. 5 fish were lost to the line snapping. I know it isn't me because my 10 pound monofilament doesn't happen with it.
👤I was the rep for the original US importer when the market didn't understand the usage. I fish this with irons, lead heads, and hard baits. This is better for those applications than softer versions. It's important that you have a thicker/stiffer for the test than "premium:" when fishing because you have a chance of being rubbed or chewed off.
The new KastKing Kovert 100% pure fluorocarbon fishing line is the best fluorocarbon fishing line and leader material available. Kovert Fluorocarbon Line has exceptional performance when you need a sensitive, shock resistant, ultra-low visibility clear fishing line or fluorocarbon leader. Kovert 100% Fluorocarbon clear fishing line and fluorocarbon leader material have a light Refractive index similar to water making it virtually invisible under water. It is perfect for high pressured water or clear conditions when you need a low vis fishing line. The Kovert 100% Fluorocarbon fishing line is perfect as a main line or leader material. It can be an exceptional benefit when used as a fluorocarbon leader line material attached to low stretch braided or super lines. Kovert Fluorocarbon line is waterproof, so it has the same strength, sensitivity and handling characteristics under the water as it does dry. Kovert 100% Fluorocarbon line is 80% heavier than water so it sinks much faster than traditional mono fishing lines. This can be an advantage when fishing. Its sensitive nature improves strike detection and improves the feel of your fishing line while increasing your hook-up ratio. TheKastKing Kovert 100% Fluorocarbon fishing line and fluoro leaders are packaged in amazing 50Yds/200Yds packages with a line dispenser function. It keeps your fishing line in the package. The leader spools are easy to store. When using a lot of fluorocarbon line, use the larger 200 yard spools.
👤I'm not sure if it's made in Germany or not, according to the description on the website. The box says it was made in China. I love kastking, but I don't want to be deceived by a brand that I trust to get me to buy the product at a premium price. I understand that most of the products we buy are made in China, but when you add in the fact that most of the products you sell are made in Germany, it becomes clear that they are just made in China. I'm sure the line will work great and will uphold the quality of the kastking produces, which is why I'm a little surprised they are not describing their product in a more proper way.
👤My credit card numbers, my neighbor's niece's 3rd birthday, what temp the water was the first time I let it get wet are all contained in this stuff. It remembers everything and that can be bad. Not bad on a baitcaster. It is completely useless on a spinning reel. It's clear that I like the way it is, but for me it's made it's way to my heavy baitcaster and will be used as a great leader on all my other rods. Even stringing a new rod can be a problem since it looks like it just got a fresh perm. The line should be out behind the boat with a lure. It seems that the memory issues have been fixed by conditioned the line as I reel it in. The line is a great price. I'm rating this a four because I've only been out with it once and there's a chance my issues with it might clear up with some adjustments. I will be lowering my rating if not. Under water, it's completely invisible. It's almost spooky. I am completely impressed by the fact that I am using fluorocarbon for the first time. It seems very durable and resistant to damage. The line was smooth at the end of the day as we threw on rock banks and through stickups. Some of the worst memories. I've dealt with many things. This stuff doesn't like staying on the reel, feels clunky during the cast, and is very audible as it beat up on my eyelets. The odd thing about it was that it wasn't just circular like it came off the spool. It would have a couple loops going one way, maybe a loop going the other way, then a couple straight sections in between. It's really weird. I'm going to try to re-spool under higher tension and see if that helps. I would be a shame if this were to become a troll line since I love the above pros. We'll see.
👤The 25 pound test line was purchased to make fishing leaders. This is the first time that fluorocarbon line has been used. The line is very stiff with coil memory. I tried to stretch the coil by hand after making a half dozen leaders. The line started to break when I pulled it through my fingers. You can see in the pictures that what looks like dust or lint is actually line delamination. I was willing to accept the line's strength, but it was weakened by the fraying. I won't use it for fishing. I will try to return it.
It is manufactured in Japan. The package height is 0.75.
👤I'm impressed with the version of the leader that I have. My first outing with a cat was with a 10, 12 and 20lb cat. I thought it was going to be clear, until I saw it was camo. I was worried that the camo might be more visible than it is, but I couldn't have been more pleased with the color. My son had to find it after I dropped a foot long section on the ground. I was looking at it. Highly recommended!
👤I didn't realize it was yellow. My fault. That was the only thing that did the job.
👤The clear is multi color.
👤It works great for surfing.
