👤I was excited for these to come in and organize my collection. The foam in the photos does not look like it did when I put my rods in. The foam in the photos looks very close to what I received. I put the top piece below the first eyelets on the rods so that the rod is thicker where the foam hits, and the rods still fall out because the foam is not supportive. I was able to pull the foam out on one side to help hold the rods in, but I wish it would have worked on its own.
👤We fish a lot. There are over 70 rods that were always stacked against corners. We had to go through several stacks before finding the rods we needed, and we were always looking for specific rods. I wanted to see how we liked them. We now have 10 total and love them all! I put them up myself because it was easy to install. I ordered a size that fit all of the rods.
👤I like these. I got the wider version so there is more space between the rods. I can't imagine getting the narrower ones. The wider one would fit rods and reels.
👤It was shortened to make it easier to ship from overseas. The product is made of plastic and foam. The holes are 13 inches apart. Adding an additional strip of wood is not a solution for wall anchoring. I wanted a solution that didn't require me to go to the home store to pick up more supplies. Our friends overseas have a bust. USA studs are on the center.
👤It seems nice. They may have changed the design because of the reviews complaining about loose foam. It was too tight for the kids to use. If you want to drill straight into your studs, you should use a 16" version.
👤My husband's fishing rods weren't leaning on things in the garage. He likes to open the garage door and see the rods on the wall. It was easy to install and a great surprise for him.
👤There is a problem with the small plastic mounting tabs. The plastic tabs will crack if you tighten the screws too much. They are not large enough to last. I am a mechanical engineer and the tabs should have been larger, made out of a more durable material or have metal sleeves on the back. I helped the seller design a better product. There are two mounting tabs on one side and one on the other side. I think I will be replacing the unit soon.
👤Like this product. Does as advertised. If you try and store 5 rods with all reels attached, you'll have to change the rotation of each one. Straight lineup is not allowed due to reel width.
The best gift for kids is a telescopic fishing net with rainbow color pattern mesh that is 888-282-0465, this is the best gift for kids because it is 888-282-0465, this is 888-282-0465 is 888-282-0465 is 888-282-0465 The robbery was organized. All components and hardware are made in the USA. 25 year warranty Each rack is backed by a 25 year warranty. 25 year warranty Each rack is backed by a 25 year warranty.
👤The rod rack holds up to about 10- 12 saltwater rods, which are much larger than freshwater rods, due to the size of the reels. It is very sturdy and well made, and it looks beautiful in our home. We will be purchasing another one soon.
👤What I've been looking for! I took 5 minutes to put it together. You get all the hardware and a square bit for the screws. I am impressed. They should make one that holds more rods. If you like me and have a pole, you can use it on the boat, pier, surf, fresh, and saltwater. Definitely worth the money.
👤The garbage rod rack I bought was built like a tank and will last a lifetime. The product and delivery time was great.
👤I knew this would help my son because he has been taking up all parts of my garage with his fishing gear. He has filled it up. I need to buy him another one.
👤It's easy to put together. It was well made.
👤It's easy to hold my rods and it looks good.
👤Very good quality and easy to set up.
👤You can't fit 24 rods in it, but I love it. Unless you have reels. If it has a reel on it, I had to go to every other store for it. That is the only complaint I have. You have to have a drill to go together in 10 minutes.
👤There is a decent number of off-shore rods. It is not made from Starboard. It is expensive for what it is.
The injection molded unit was made of plastic. The 90 degree bend at the top makes these racks very sturdy and can be mounted to virtually any flat surface. There are no sharp edges that could damage fishing rods. The shock cord closure acts as a net to keep your rods out of harms way. There is a wall that can be used to store fishing rods, cue, hiking poles, ski poles, hockey sticks and more. It can hold up to 8 rods and reel combo. The design of the rod rest is to make sure that fishing rods stay firmly on the ground. To fit the rods length, adjust the distance between the two racks. It's the perfect pole holder for a store, home, cabin, garage, basement, shed and outdoor storage areas. The fishing rod storage rack holder is made of heavy duty steel and lasts a long time. The fishing rod can be protected with black powder coated finished. It is easy to install with the screws included. The product is 15" x 2.2" and has a hole of 1.5" It is easy to install with the screws included. The product is 15" x 2.2" and has a hole of 1.5"
👤I bought these to attach my fishing rods to my garage door. I screwed them to a piece of wood and it worked.
👤Wrong item delivered. Does not match the description or pictures provided. This is the third item that I have received that has been broken or wrong.
It's easy to assemble fishing rods on a boat, truck, home or garage, even in your bedroom, without the hassle of putting it together. There are no tools required. A great gift for the fishermen. The bass fish themed design has a distressed look. It can hold up to 6 rods. There are clips for perfect fit and alignment. All hardware is included. Stores all types of fishing rods. The upper and lower rack is 23.62"L x 1.95"W x 9.65"H. 21.26"L x 3.15"W x 2.3"H
👤She is short on function but she looks great. The clips for the rod holder are held in by the track. The holders can slide out of the track without a cap or retainer. The holders are on the track. I only use this for ice fishing jigging rods. I come into the room to find the rods have popped out of the holding clips, or the clips have slid out of the track. These are not heavy rods.
👤I want to like it. Great idea. I wish it was made of real wood and not the crappy laminated particle board that came with it. I bought this as a Christmas present. I wish it was packed in a good box and not thrown in a bad box.
👤I assumed the product was made of cedar because it was listed as wood. It is cheap and covered with a fake wood veneer. If this was going to be installed indoors with air conditioning, maybe it is fine, but I was specifically looking for something to mount in the carport of our lake house. It gets very humid and the MDF wouldn't last long. Looks cute. It is more of the same cheap, misleading garbage that has flooded Amazon recently.
👤Not worth $33. They are covered with paper. I bought two different ones. One has a track with a bead and the other is not. The track broke because it was tight. The other is to loose and the rods will slide over. The paper was torn with the installation. Don't waste your money.
👤This was a pleasant surprise. The wood pieces had a beautiful finish. It was installed with the help of wall anchors. A display for vintage fishing rods. Highly recommended.
👤I had to drill into the concrete and it was hard to handle with the small holes in the back. If you go into anything other than wood or drywall, make sure you have the right screw head size. There are wood screws.
👤I ordered the regular and jumping bass so I could mount them back to back. The bass is facing the wrong way. The other one may be backwards too. The board has a veneer. The veneer is made of wood, but it is difficult to tell what species it is. There are exposed edges on the board. The spacing for the rods is too close. Keep that in mind. I have a variety of sizes so keeping them on the rack would have been interesting. I am returning this one and canceling the other.
👤It seems like a decent product. I like it, but I wish the pole handles could be a bit more spread out for reel space, but other than that I like it.
👤Good quality. It was easy to set up. I love the fish. It was a perfect hang in the garage.
1.5” diameter holders for all fishing pole sizes, can hold 8 rods or combo on either side, 2 handles for easy carrying and transportation, and a fish design on both sides of frame. As your fishing rod collection grows, you can add rack storage space. The fish design is innovative. One unit can hold up to eight combinations. Rods are protected and secured with rubber clips.
👤The wood is made of wood. I don't think it will hold up to the elements. The clips for the top mount work well. It is necessary to hold the rods in a moderate wind under the covered porch where mine is mounted. The bottom shelf has worthless mounting brackets. They can't hold the weight of the shelf without flexing. When you add any rods, they just slide off. The cheap plastic brackets that came with the Rod holder were thrown in the trash. I would have returned the rod holder if I had not had the steel angle brackets. The pressboard material and this one are two stars.
👤I bought a solid wood piece a year ago. The new style of press board garbage that you add to is junk. So sad.
👤The unit came with plastic mounting brackets for the lower shelf that are flimsy and ill-suited for the task, each attached to the lower shelf with only one small screw. The installation instructions show a metal l-bracket attached to the lower shelf with four screws. The company decided to cut costs by using cheap plastic brackets instead of printing the instructions. The flimsy plastic mounts in the back of the upper rack make mounting difficult and the low quality screws provided can't be made. The plastic track was stapled into the grooves with two small scissors and easily pulled out with light pressure. If you have to buy this item, I suggest you use panhead screws and metal l-brackets to mount the rack instead of the provided screws and brackets. I wouldn't use this rack.
👤It's easy to install. Looks great.
👤I had high hopes for this. It looked like a simple rack. The picture and description are not what it is. The rack was damaged when I received it. There was a chip on the bottom rack. This was a manufacturing defect as it was packaged perfectly and it was likely caused by the hole they drilled. This was not a nice 'oak' rack, it was pressed wood. It is going in a garage and the price is not excessive. I decided to plug in. I was unable to secure the back of the top rack because the screws that hold it in place were stripped. The top is less secure against the wall. I don't like the idea of the keyhole slots being mounted as it is, they require great precision when placed in the wall. All bets are off if you are off by a small amount. It's difficult to slide both screws into the slots at the same time when you're dead on. They should have provided plugs to go over the holes that were drilled 16 inches apart. The top is a bit wobbly as a result of design and poor manufacturing. The rubber rod holders are inconsistent in their grip. Some of them are so loose that they barely hold the rod. When you pull a rod out of a wobbly top, you have to hold the top rack against the wall while trying to create a small gap in the holder to free the rod. The bottom slots for the rods are too close. It's not a deal breaker and it's common with all the holders I viewed, but it's just one more annoyance. It isn't worth the effort to take it down and package it back up, since I only paid 15 bucks for it. I will write this one up to a lesson learned. I will make my own replacement. There are rubber grips for the top.
There are gift ideas. The magnetic tool is a great gift for men and women who want to expand their tool collection. It is ready to give to someone. The Innovative Patented Design of the fishing pole holder makes it easy to use and store up to 15 fishing rods or fishing rod and reel combo in less than 18” of wall space. Innovative. The KastKing V15 vertical fishing rod rack can hold up to 15 rods or combo in less than 18 inches of wall space. Most brands only have 6 combo in the same amount of space. Rods and combo can be mounted virtually anywhere along the length of the rod, allowing reels to be staggered at different heights for minimum storage space. The innovative design of the fishing pole rack is easy to use. Push the rod firmly into the large or small v-grooves until the grip material grabs it. The rod can be hung with the thread wrapped line guides above the v-groove. The reel can be attached to a 12” rod. To remove your combo from the fishing rod rack, grab the rod near the rod rack and pull out. The KastKing V15 fishing rod holder is made from a tough material which is resistant to heat, chemicals, and impact. The v-grooves are injected with a tacky thermoplastic material to make sure rods and combo are held securely in your rack. The V15 fishing pole rack has three mounting holes. Two holes are on the center of the wall. To install the rack, you need to determine the correct mounting height for your poles, install one of the outer screws into a stud, level the rack and mark mounting holes, anchor for center mounting hole, re-level rod rack and tighten all screws. The V15 fishing rod rack will save space.
👤I have a small space and a high garage that make it hard to store my rods. I ordered the V15 and was able to put my rods in a secure area. The rubber stuff that the V have is strong. I'm definitely thinking of ordering another one.
👤I don't know why this is so good. It is a one piece rack that holds up rods. I put up a penn rod and reel combo and it slid down. If the rod guides were resting above the V, it would stay up.
👤The rod racks were taking up too much space in my garage and were getting in the way. There is a The KastKing 2 pack is 30 dollars. The rod holder gave me more space in my garage. The kit has instructions on how to install and mount to the wall. The design holds the rods in place.
👤I've purchased quite a few of the KastKing products. I needed something to organize the rods in the corner of my garage. The design is great and I liked how many rods were able to fit as other products similar to this usually only hold around 6. It was easy to install and I didn't need to use the two holes on the sides that were lined up with studs. Simply screw it in to the wall with the included hardware and you're done. I had an issue with the rods falling and landing on the floor as I put them into the slots. I had to push them harder into the rubber to hold them, but with more flexible rods, I was worried about them breaking. The design needs work, but I like the idea. If you put the rod to far away from the reel in the holder, it will not stay, it will be hard to get it to close to the reel. I have figured out how to get it to work. It takes a lot of time to move the mount. It works well once you patch the small holes.
👤I just bought my first couple nicer rods and needed to organize so the order arrived on time. It took me about a minute to grab my impact drill and sink the three screws provided in the wall, but I used one of the three drywall anchors included for middle whole. The side holes are 16 in each other and sunk into the wall. The rack is made of plastic and comes in a V shape and U shaped slots for thicker rods. This seems to be a product that is made to last and looks very sharp on the wall.
👤If you have spinning reels attached, you can fit more rods on there than they claim. There is a The rubbery material that holds the rods seems to be of decent quality. It has "memory", which means that with use the rubber gets permanent indentations where the rod is held in place. This started happening on my computer after a few months of use. I don't like that it takes a little force to get a rod out, and that it doesn't prevent the rod from falling if the rubber ever loses its grip. I think the rubber will lose its elasticity at some point, but I don't know how long.
The size of theRACK is sufficient for a premium storage solution for your fishing gear. 6 rods are neatly and securely stored. The disk drag system is powered by the disk. It is durable and lightweight. There are 6 rods neatly and securely stored.
👤It's fine for the money. However,... 1. The thick part of the rod closer to the reel is hard to get in and out of because of the stiff foam. 2. Even when staggered and using every other slot, the reels clash because of the spacing. I was able to fit six rods by pointing them in different directions, but the reels don't have enough room. I have a horizontal mount on the wall. The screws are a joke. I didn't try them because they're so short. I don't think they'd hold. It works, but I was hoping for a more elegant solution from Berkley. I saw a video on the internet that suggested cutting the pool noodle in half, and I think that would have worked better.
👤I rested the butt of the rods on the floor in one section. I was able to put 24 rods using this method. I had to use wall anchors on some of them. I am very happy with the purchase.
👤The foam is cheap. I can tell by taking the poles in an out many times that they will wear out quickly. Despite the quality of the foam, I am happy with it for storage. I used command picture hanging strips because my landlord doesn't like screw/nail holes in the wall. It works perfectly. The holders are of good quality. The plastic shell is very strong. They will be strong if mounted on the wall. The horizontal mount is a better choice than the vertical one. You can choose to mount horizontal or vertical with the horizontal mount. I used the horizontal mounts to double my storage capacity and just left the bottom of the rod on the floor. I will purchase these again when they wear out.
👤The rod holder is just as good as you would find in China or Pakistan. I'm giving a one star rating because these rod holders are shipped with dirt cheap flatblade screws, which is incredibly frustrating when trying to mount them. It would have been better if they had includedPhillips or square. You should bring your own screws.
👤Not for the intended purpose for rods, but for a handgun safe. This was one option that I had seen used on gun forums. Others used a dish rack that didn't seem to hold as many handguns or guns that were upside down. These are perfect for the typical sized semi- auto 9mm-.45 caliber handguns. There is more room to deal with and they lean more because of their thinner barrel. This is an economical and efficient way to organize. 13 handguns can be stored in the center of the safe between them.
👤I think it's a decent rod holder. There are a few concerns I have. Any rod thicker than an average light-weight or mid-weight fresh water rod will be a very tight fit, and might not fit at all. My fishing rod won't fit. The included screws are not easy to use. They are flatheads, not philips heads. The screws are harder to install. Even though I screwed directly into the wall studs, they didn't grip very well because they are too short. They only grabbed the wood after accounting for the thickness of the wallboard. Use longer wood screws.
The Sougayilang RZC20 saltwater fishing reel is loaded with many un-matched features which cannot be found on other reels in its class. The gear ratio is not very high. Solid pine construction. It's easy to screws into place. Holds up to nine rods. It's a great way to use spare space. The type of sport is outdoor lifestyle.
👤If you are a bass fisherman, this is for you. If you're a saltwater fisherman, you should get a bigger holder. I do both. All of my smaller rods fit, but anything I would use in salt, even the smaller stuff, doesn't fit. If you spread them apart, the rod would be an awful lot smaller. It was easy to mount and it looks good. It was mounted to the wall or ceiling with the necessary hardware. I'm happy with it, but I wish it was a bit bigger so it could hold my catfish rods.
👤Not bad. Light pine. stained I could not make my own. One set holds rods. I have spinners and bait. There are ice rods and kids poles. The ceiling of my trailer was screwed into. The screws are not tight. Better anchors or longer scews? It was tight enough to hold the rods. It was shorter than expected. In. It was long. There are 1.5 holes in the round. The pole fit. 2.5 in. It was wide. 75 in thick. The tip is about 1 in wide. The brackets are from the factory. It's not a bad deal to get my rods off the floor. I would make my own for 10 bucks, but I don't have the time. I bought two sets for 40 bucks. Done. This is very light china pine wood. If you drill larger holes, the wood may crack out. Use caution. The lenth of the wood is run by grain. If air born, china stain is probable cancer. These work well for me. The flyrods are held in the tip holes in the second set. The short poles are hanging out the handle holes and I am ordering another set for the short stuff.
👤The pieces are in the garbage. Before the first screw was put in, this broke. The screw that split the wood was sent sideways by the poorly drilled holes, and the whole corner snapped off when I tried to remove it. I lost my grip and it broke in half. This is Gamble and it is right where it is. $17 wasted. You have been defeated. Buy at your own risk.
👤I own two of these mounts. The first one arrived in perfect condition. I mounted it directly to the floor joists on the ceiling of my basement, using the 2 screw mount holes on either side. The screws alone into the joists will hold a lot of weight and didn't bother with the brackets. I ordered a second mount a couple months later and it was broken when I received it, but it was the same mount that arrived via theUPS. The mount will likely be stronger than the original product because I used a metal Simpson strong tie andGorilla Glue to repair it. I decided to just glue it, attach a strong-tie, and mount it on the ceiling joist, instead of setting up a return through Amazon. It's simple and works perfectly fine for storing up to 11 fishing rods, but it's weak and fragile during shipping, so it's probably not worth a 5-star rating. It's easy to work with but break easily so be careful when mounting this to a wall or ceiling.
Comes with 2 packs. The fish rod rack is a good choice for small trucks, garage, mobile homes and camper shells, even it's a good choice for the car with 4 Arm Rests. The boat horizontal rod holders are suitable for 6 Rods Storage. Appropriate size for you to store about 6 pieces of rods makes your home or garage well organized and clean. The horizontal fishing rod rack is easy to install and disassemble, and you only need to use the 6 installation screws and the matching mounting hardware. The fish rod holders for boat are made of plastic material, and the grip pad is made of elastic foam material, not easy to bend or break, can be kept and applied for a long time. There are 2 pairs of boat mount fishing rod holders, which are nice to have in your possession, and you can use them to store your fishing rods. The horizontal fishing rod holders are suitable for many decoration styles and places, such as game rooms, restaurants, bars, clubs, and so on.
The dimensions are 19.4 D x 32 W x 20 H and 23.7" corner to corner. Made in the USA. The garage or wall is a ceiling fan. The rod holder allows you to store 11 rod and reel combo in a variety of positions on the wall or ceiling. Rods are not included. TILE INSTALLATION You can put your fishing rod and reel combo in your garage, shed, or other storage area. The innovative design allows for the rod to hold securely in place by adjusting the spacing from the bottom and top pieces. Easy assembly. You can spend less time on assembling and more time out on the water with assembly. The size of theRACK is sufficient for a premium storage solution for your fishing gear.
👤Don't get it wet, it's laminated particle board. It doesn't look bad, but it's not as nice as in the pictures. I bought two sets of rods to hang. I could have built nicer ones if I had waited a bit longer to get them. They put a sticker on the product that was nearly impossible to remove and had to use alcohol to remove it. I would give it 4 stars, but it took about an hour to get that sticker off each one. The screws that came with the kit looked cheap, so I used my own.
👤I knew these were made of laminated particle board, but I had to make my own because it would have cost me more and taken a lot more time. I am glad I bought these. It only took a few minutes to install 2 sets of these on my garage ceiling. If you don't do pullups on them, these will last a long time. I used the screws that were included. If I get more fishing rods, I will buy another set.
👤I bought a similar rod holder for my son, and wanted to get one for myself. I saw this one, and it was very similar. It's a piece of garbage. It's flimsy, covered with thin laminate, and it's terrible. I was installing it when it broke. I don't want my money back. I want to remember the lesson.
👤If you're thinking about getting a rod rack for holding any fishing rods other than a child's Batman or Wonder Woman rod and reel, I would highly recommend you pass on this rod rack. The pressed particle board that is used to make these racks is not the right size to hold anything close to an offshore rod. I tried to post pictures of the cracks in my rack before I put a rod on it. There are pictures of the cracks. There is no way to post pics for this product's review.
👤I had to wait a few weeks to get the insulation pieces from the company. It was difficult to get out of the old screw that was stuck in the holes when I tried to install it, it must have been a return purchase or pre-used because it was stuck in the holes. The wood looks really cheap. I had a hard time getting the anchors to hold in my wall, they kept spinning and it was a nightmare. Do not buy this product.
👤I thought it was a great idea for under 20 bucks, but when it arrived in the mail, it was very flimsy. I don't think the stuff is made out of MDF either way, I should have gotten a piece of three-quarter inch plywood a holesaw and done this myself, which is what I had to do after trying to install this piece of garbage and snapping it in my hands.
👤Simple design, and probably not hard for someone with wood working tools to make themselves. I recommend this product for those of us who don't have the time or tools to make a rack. I mounted this to the ceiling, using dead space. I finally got my fishing gear out of the corner of the garage, thanks to the great quality. I found my measurement to be slightly less than the installation guide suggests, so make sure to put a measuring tape to it before drilling your holes.
The rack is 13.75"L x 13.75"W x 30"H. The Redneck Convent Fishing Pole Vertical Floor display rack has a standing storage area for 16 rods and reels and is practical. Easy to read instructions with a diagram are included. Assembly screws are included for your convenience. Universal for all rod types and combinations. 1.5” diameter holders for all fishing pole sizes, can hold 8 rods or combo on either side, 2 handles for easy carrying and transportation, and a fish design on both sides of frame.
👤I agree with reviewers who said the rod rack was less sturdy. The unit is remarkably strong with some patience and careful attention to construction. I was skeptical when I opened the box. The unit becomes much stronger when it is assembled, especially with the bottom brace in place. There is only one side of the rack. The three reels shown are huge and heavy saltwater rigs. My heavy duty 9/0 Penn Senator is one of the two rods with 4/0 Penn Senator reels. The reel is large and heavy and balances nicely in the rack. There are five spinning rod and reel rigs on the other side. This is ideal for keeping rods upright. It's a great way to keep rods safe from rod guide mortalities.
👤It was difficult to put together. I have put my fishing rods on this setup, from conventional to 8000 series tarpon setup. All my reels and baitcasters. It's better to have everything against the corner wall in the spare room. Take your time putting it together. It's all good with me that some will be close together.
👤I didn't know what to expect from a $25 rod rack, but I did expect more than this one offers. It is a very cheap plastic. The two sides of the fish need to be screwed together, the top of the fish is hollow and the bottom is plastic. I had to make my own because my rack didn't come with pre-drilled holes. I had to glue the top to the bottom because 2 of the prongs melted. The light assembly was advertised as finished. The instructions it came with were not very helpful. It is a piece of paper that states what should come in the box and a picture of the rod rack completely assembled. Key word should be in the box. The diagram shows a beam running from one side of the rack to the other. I think it would have been useless to add to the strength of the rack if it had been hollow plastic. Don't buy cheap for the sake of being cheap, if you have expensive equipment like I do. You can buy a solid wood rack at your local Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, Sportman's Warehouse, etc. Protect your equipment by spending the money.
👤This is not rated very high. The more stickers you have the better. It looks and works well. It is very strong and holds all my rods. I have some weird rods. The plastic is cheap, but once screwed together it is a solid piece. It took a few minutes to make it work.
👤It looks nice. The small bar was snapped after I tried to set it in place. I knew it was soft plastic. I would probably only get one chance to tighten everything, I snugged every screw down at a time before committing to fully screw everything down. The spacing rod snapped. I wish I could have used all the parts that I intended. I was able to place my 5 spinning rods on one side and my kids 2 spincast rods and my other 2 baitcasters on the other. I don't see why the rack would be a problem. I thought I had enough, but now it looks like I don't.
