👤I nailed it. Any complaints you read are missing the point. It looks good, but thinner rods will shift around in their holders, and reels will knock into each other. My kids are interested in fishing again after I put the rods in and have them displayed in the garage. What else matters?
👤I gave this 5 stars because I have been planning to build a rod holder for a long time and finally completed it for $18.89. There are 4 pictures that may or may not help you decide if this will work for you. The picture shows the rod holder. The measurement of the height of the top holder is shown in one picture. The measurement is 30 inches, but the top holder is not that high. A surf rod is too tall to fit in the holder. I want to replace one of the original ones with a larger one so that the rod will fit. The rod is yellow in the picture. There is a red lacing that is just 7 inches in diameter. I don't know if it will hold up. The maximum height that I could use is shown in the picture. I would buy it again if I could get a couple of larger rod clamps and a great rod holder. Is it real oak? It looks good! I added the last three pictures to show the YYST 4 PCS Kayak paddle clip paddle holder paddle keeper and the rod holder. The fifth picture has a rod diameter of 1.25 inches. The red and yellow rod in the sixth picture is 7 inches in diameter. The seventh picture shows the clips I ordered. This holds my rods securely.
👤I bought this for my hubs. The only problem we had was when we went to assemble, the screw on the bottom wouldn't tighten, it was very simple instructions. I gave 4 stars because of this. My hub's skills saved the day. He was able to place it in the bottom so it wouldn't fall over. The fastners are very close together. The top of the rods has a lot of space, but the bottom of the rods is tight. We missed a few spaces because some wouldn't fit in the next fastner. All of my husband's rods fit even after skipping a space because we didn't have 16 rods. We can't complain at $20 bucks. It serves its purpose well.
👤It is cheap by comparison to other fishing rod holders. It isn't the prettiest and it isn't the smartest. It took two minutes to put it together. I was helped to clean up my gear. I was leaning my rods in a corner. They would fall over. It's nice and organized. I don't think this thing will hold up to abuse. There are a few bolts and a laminated particle board. I don't see why it would be an issue if you are not hard on it. It should last a long time. The clips seem to grab on the rod. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and just wanted my fishing gear cleaned up. Those needs were filled by it.
The stylish folding backpack chair has lots of pockets. The 2 outer pockets are suitable for storing things. The bank fishing rod holder is made of high quality material. The pole holder is suitable for most fishing rods. The holder makes the rod more stable. The drill rod is easy to use. The support can stand firmly if you go into the ground. The holder is portable and easy to carry. The head of the holder can be adjusted to 180 degrees. It's easy to adjust angle when fishing by the sea, river or lake. The head of the holder can be adjusted to 180 degrees. It's easy to adjust angle when fishing by the sea, river or lake.
👤I didn't expect the rod holders to be made of metal. The catfish is large. I needed a rod holder to hold the fish. The holders do the job. No bending, no breaking, goes in the ground.
👤These holders seem to work well. The ground is frozen solid and can't be used.
👤I thought it was shorter than that, but it was not much taller for your rod, lloks to be solid construction.
👤These work well and make a great gift.
👤Good price. I would like to have a lock on it to keep it from falling on the rod holder.
👤The rod holder is very strong. It is easy to use. The rods are almost parallel with the ground after they are in place. I will be purchasing different rod holders if the rods are more vertical.
👤I was not happy with the quality of the product. Each one of them was different in how they were used. To a lot of trouble to return them.
If you don't have four leash bars, you can buy and affix cups to hold the strap. Make sure the cup is strong. There is a product called 86.61 The length is 1.5 in and the width is 1.5 in. The fishing rod rack is easy to use. The rod saver is easy to install. Rod Saver will help you put my fishing poles in the right place. You will be happy with the product. There are 5 safe and well-equipped robbery and theft vehicles. The fishing rod rack can hold up to 5 fishing rods, and it can keep them out of the way, never worry about broken rod tips or tangled lines. They don't slide back and forth while driving because the fishing rod rack works well. Pull the straps as tight as you can. This is a notice. If you don't have four leash bars, you can buy and affix cups to hold the strap. Make sure the cup is strong. Before you drive, make sure everything is locked up. Excellent way of managing space. The way of managing space is excellent. A lot of room was saved in the back by the fishing rod rack. The car wouldn't have been in a mess if the rod rack had been there. Excellent tackle for the fisherman. They will reply to you soon if you have any problems. Excellent way of managing space. The way of managing space is excellent. 👤The best thing we could find for our Jeep was a rod holder. The Jeep's roll cage is covered with the same material.
👤The Honda CR-V only has 3 handles. I used the seatbelt keepers in the back and the front seat handle in the backseat. My car and rods are in the same configuration. My long rods will fit on one side of the strap, while my short rods will fit on the other. When it was installed and loaded with 5 rods, it was perfect, there was no sag at all and it kept the rods above my head. If you order this and can't get it to work in a car, you can't cast a fishing rod. My only complaint is that the roof of my car is too short for my 8 and 9 foot rods, but that is not the fault of this product.
👤I keep my rods out of the way when I travel with 2 kids and 2 dogs in the back of a Sequoia.
👤We took four 7.5 foot poles on a trip from California to Utah in our car. We didn't notice that they were there. The design was simple but well constructed.
👤If my boyfriend had the oh sh!t handles, it would have worked. escapes do not come with those He used the hooks.
👤I was a little skeptical of the holding strength of the velcro at first, but it has held up well for a long time, and I would highly recommend it.
👤The unit doesn't work as advertised. I tried to store several rods with small size reels by adjusting the buckets holding the strap. There is only enough force to hold the rods. Adding reels above the micro-reel causes the belt to slip at the length of the adjusting buckets and the arrangement to be too small to hold the swinging metal objects. The 2 star is for holding the rods in a straight line. The straps were kept in case they were needed to carry the rods.
👤Quality is as expected.
It's easy to assemble fishing rods on a boat, truck, home or garage, even in your bedroom, without the hassle of putting it together. There are no tools required. A great gift for the fishermen. The bass fish themed design has a distressed look. It can hold up to 6 rods. There are clips for perfect fit and alignment. All hardware is included. Stores all types of fishing rods. The upper and lower rack is 23.62"L x 1.95"W x 9.65"H. 21.26"L x 3.15"W x 2.3"H
👤She is short on function but she looks great. The clips for the rod holder are held in by the track. The holders can slide out of the track without a cap or retainer. The holders are on the track. I only use this for ice fishing jigging rods. I come into the room to find the rods have popped out of the holding clips, or the clips have slid out of the track. These are not heavy rods.
👤I want to like it. Great idea. I wish it was made of real wood and not the crappy laminated particle board that came with it. I bought this as a Christmas present. I wish it was packed in a good box and not thrown in a bad box.
👤I assumed the product was made of cedar because it was listed as wood. It is cheap and covered with a fake wood veneer. If this was going to be installed indoors with air conditioning, maybe it is fine, but I was specifically looking for something to mount in the carport of our lake house. It gets very humid and the MDF wouldn't last long. Looks cute. It is more of the same cheap, misleading garbage that has flooded Amazon recently.
👤Not worth $33. They are covered with paper. I bought two different ones. One has a track with a bead and the other is not. The track broke because it was tight. The other is to loose and the rods will slide over. The paper was torn with the installation. Don't waste your money.
👤This was a pleasant surprise. The wood pieces had a beautiful finish. It was installed with the help of wall anchors. A display for vintage fishing rods. Highly recommended.
👤I had to drill into the concrete and it was hard to handle with the small holes in the back. If you go into anything other than wood or drywall, make sure you have the right screw head size. There are wood screws.
👤I ordered the regular and jumping bass so I could mount them back to back. The bass is facing the wrong way. The other one may be backwards too. The board has a veneer. The veneer is made of wood, but it is difficult to tell what species it is. There are exposed edges on the board. The spacing for the rods is too close. Keep that in mind. I have a variety of sizes so keeping them on the rack would have been interesting. I am returning this one and canceling the other.
👤It seems like a decent product. I like it, but I wish the pole handles could be a bit more spread out for reel space, but other than that I like it.
👤Good quality. It was easy to set up. I love the fish. It was a perfect hang in the garage.
The sport is called billiards. The dimensions are 2.4 in. L x 16.9 in. You can store your fishing rods on the wall orceiling. The fishing rod can be corroded by the high-impact STEEL fishing rod storage racks. It can hold up to 8 fishing rods and reel combo. This handy organizer can be used to maximize space and eliminate garage roomcluttering. Convenient storage can be created by utilizing extra space in the garage, cabin, and boat rooms. Keeping the space neat and organized. Heavy duty steel is coated with a substance called polyvinylchloride. Protect your fishing rods from damage. It is easy to put it together. Hardware is included. You can organize your rod and reel combo in a garage or workshop. There is a US patent pending. All rights are reserved.
👤The picture supplied is not the true size. This is very small. Look at the product dimensions to see the length. That's over a foot. The image makes you think it's several feet long, but it isn't. Unless you use it for small fresh water rods, your stuff isn't going to fit. The construction is very sturdy with a coating that won't scratch or damage what you put in it. That's the positive side. This is a lot of money for a tiny item. It would have gotten 5 stars if it was twice the current size.
👤These are nice. They think they will last a long time. The coating on them is good. I did not give them five stars because the openings could be a little bigger. The bases of some of the bigger rods did not fit. It fit most of my rods. The openings are crammed so it's like a puzzle to place the rods and reels. After a few minutes, I was able to get them all to fall down. I would recommend putting your most frequently used rods last, as they are the easiest to pull off.
👤The rack is very small and easy to install on the ceiling. This rack is perfect for small rods. The butt of the heavy rod will go through the hole. I can't put the second piece into the rack. It works if I place it through the larger guide. If the rack is full, the reels will get stuck on the other rods when trying to get the rod out. If the spacing was just an inch more it would be better. All in a good place. I would only purchase my smaller rods again.
👤The first picture of the rack shows two different wall brackets, but as you scroll through the other pictures you will see the actual design of the rack, which gives you two If you mount the product as shown in the picture, each rod will get 2 open ends, no big deal, or 2 closed ends. What a PIA that would be! Okay. If you try to make it offset like what you saw in the first picture, you will hit another problem. You lose the function of the open hook when you flip it. I was looking forward to hanging these up since I was locked in this house. Will be looking for a new option to send these back.
👤The # was the perfect amount for me because I only own a few rods. It went up on my ceiling without a hitch. The holes fit my deep sea rods perfectly, and they were easy to get into or out of. The spacing could be 1/2 to 1inch wider each. My big reels are bumping into each other, but they don't affect the stability or damage the rods. I'll go for 4 stars since I can't do half a star. They were slightly bowed, but that did not affect alignment. I don't have to worry about choosing a wood/particle board based product breaking on me because it met expectations. If you have large reels for deep sea, be aware of the length before purchasing. I would suggest mixing reel sizes. Still recommend.
Stores all types of fishing rods. The upper and lower rack is 23.62"L x 1.95"W x 9.65"H. 21.26"L x 3.15"W x 2.3"H Preserving your rods in the off-season or protecting them from damage is possible with the ZACX Rod Rack. The Rod & Reel Storage can hold up to 6 fishing rods or combo. A base grip that eliminates pressure on rod eyes and a foam grip that protects your rods from scratches are some of the benefits of a fishing rod holder. 6 mounting screws are included for easy setup of the horizontal rack for your boat or vehicle. The best fishing gift for men is the fishing gear rod storage.
👤Installation, delivery and open packaging are easy. Well packaged. I have all low-profile bait cast reels and even then, they're a tight fit.
👤It must have for all lengths and sizes. We love it on my ceiling.
👤It works like it should.
👤It fits all of my rods.
👤It was installed yesterday. The design is easy to install. The space is being saved. The rod tips are firmly held. Very good choice of fishing rods.
The dimensions of the Mount are 4” x 2” x 2. Storage for three rods. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The plastic construction is durable. It's suitable for both spinning and casting rods. The size is 7 inches x 7 inches.
👤I don't think I should have read all the reviews because they are not true. I review my products to see what others are saying. The reviews for the product are garbage by the manufacturer. The foam insert is very stiff. I tried to put the old rods in the foam slot. I broke the rod tips. If this had happened to my rods, I would have to pay. I don't think these holders can hold a rod if they are too stiff to hold it. I should not have to shave down the foam insert because it's not safe for my rods. I am not sending these back because I am trying to attach jerry-rig rod holders to the sides of my bed liner to get my rods off the bed floor and out of harm's way. Please buy a better product if you want to mount your rods in your garage or house. Our rods are too valuable to risk breaking them or having to modify a product to be safe. I hope this will help my fellow fishermen.
👤I needed to replace some rod storage holders on my whaler. They were tired. I was trying to find a similar replacement at the common retailers and found this match on Amazon. I wanted to leave a review for one reason, regardless of how good of a match this was for me. Someone left a review saying they were too tight and you would break your rod unless you cut out foam. If you're using a standard 6 to 7' foot rod and reel combo, these work great. They need to be snug to hold your equipment. It takes two hands to get the rods in. The rods are pretty tight, but if you use two hands to slide them into position, you reduce the risk of damage to them by almost 100%. They were a bug on my boat even when I was in the harbor. I may need a new set after a while. I hope I'm fishing enough to wear them out. That is a good problem to have.
👤These work well. There's not much more to add. When installing scews, be careful. I put cracks in the gel coat of my fiberglass boat because I didn't check the first two screws carefully. Oops! I had to take them out, grind off the screws, and then move outside the boat to fix my mistake.
👤I don't have anything bad to say about the product, it's just that I couldn't use it on my boat. It was too big to fit in where I needed it to be. I think I should have paid more attention to the dimensions because it looked small online. I was surprised at how big it was.
👤I had rod handle holders in the cabin of my boat, but the rods themselves were on the shelves. The rods would fly because the ocean isn't always gentle. These were perfect. I added straps. Am holding rods. I have a thin one that is easy to modify and make into what you need. Hopefully the photos give you a better idea of your size.
The size of theRACK is sufficient for a premium storage solution for your fishing gear. 6 rods are neatly and securely stored. The disk drag system is powered by the disk. It is durable and lightweight. There are 6 rods neatly and securely stored.
👤It's fine for the money. However,... 1. The thick part of the rod closer to the reel is hard to get in and out of because of the stiff foam. 2. Even when staggered and using every other slot, the reels clash because of the spacing. I was able to fit six rods by pointing them in different directions, but the reels don't have enough room. I have a horizontal mount on the wall. The screws are a joke. I didn't try them because they're so short. I don't think they'd hold. It works, but I was hoping for a more elegant solution from Berkley. I saw a video on the internet that suggested cutting the pool noodle in half, and I think that would have worked better.
👤I rested the butt of the rods on the floor in one section. I was able to put 24 rods using this method. I had to use wall anchors on some of them. I am very happy with the purchase.
👤The foam is cheap. I can tell by taking the poles in an out many times that they will wear out quickly. Despite the quality of the foam, I am happy with it for storage. I used command picture hanging strips because my landlord doesn't like screw/nail holes in the wall. It works perfectly. The holders are of good quality. The plastic shell is very strong. They will be strong if mounted on the wall. The horizontal mount is a better choice than the vertical one. You can choose to mount horizontal or vertical with the horizontal mount. I used the horizontal mounts to double my storage capacity and just left the bottom of the rod on the floor. I will purchase these again when they wear out.
👤The rod holder is just as good as you would find in China or Pakistan. I'm giving a one star rating because these rod holders are shipped with dirt cheap flatblade screws, which is incredibly frustrating when trying to mount them. It would have been better if they had includedPhillips or square. You should bring your own screws.
👤Not for the intended purpose for rods, but for a handgun safe. This was one option that I had seen used on gun forums. Others used a dish rack that didn't seem to hold as many handguns or guns that were upside down. These are perfect for the typical sized semi- auto 9mm-.45 caliber handguns. There is more room to deal with and they lean more because of their thinner barrel. This is an economical and efficient way to organize. 13 handguns can be stored in the center of the safe between them.
👤I think it's a decent rod holder. There are a few concerns I have. Any rod thicker than an average light-weight or mid-weight fresh water rod will be a very tight fit, and might not fit at all. My fishing rod won't fit. The included screws are not easy to use. They are flatheads, not philips heads. The screws are harder to install. Even though I screwed directly into the wall studs, they didn't grip very well because they are too short. They only grabbed the wood after accounting for the thickness of the wallboard. Use longer wood screws.
Their best in class line of licensed kid's products includes fishing rod and reel combo of adult. Plusinno has something for everyone, from beginners to experts. Make fishing easy and enjoyable is their goal. The maximum diameter of the fishing rod cover is 2.38inch, and it may be a litlle tie for the spinning rod. It's ok for it. Fishing rod covers are made of a tough material that is impervious to salt. Fishing rod covers are easy to store and are good for rods with guides. Wrap the rod tightly to prevent damage. The fishing rod covers are easy to use. Easy and off installation is what their braided construction means. They can be used over large line guides. The rod covers are easy to remove, they are great for boat rod lockers, rod storage tubes, in the back of your truck, or going to and from the boat. There are 10 different color rod covers. There are red, orange, purple, black, army green, black and green, black and blue, black and white, black and red, green and yellow rod sleeves. Have a colorful life.
👤They are ok, but you need something to hold them or they will slide off easily, they do fit some spinning rods, but it's not easy. I was contacted out of the blue by customer support, they appreciated my feedback and have already made some changes to the rod sleeves. If the changes have been made, they will be very good sleeves, for the price point, they have held up very well and feel very good. It's rare for a company to listen to customer suggestions and if that is all I knew, that would be a star on it's own.
👤What are these tubes supposed to do? They are over the top. Who built the machine that made them, and who realized their use on a fishing rod? They are cheap and perfect for the job. I can imagine them being a challenge to keep up with. Rods jamming together when stuffed in a truck or cabin is solved completely. Can see how they will protect the eyes. An idea is too cool. It will take me a long time to lose them.
👤Only work with bait caster rod. The opening is too small for my line guides. There is a little lip inside when you take them off. It's easy to remove. If you only have bait casting type rods, it's likely to work. The ones with small guides.
👤I don't think these would need to be in different sizes. The only rod that fit all of my eyes was a 4 ft rod. Be careful. I don't know how to buy others without the same problem. I had to return them.
👤I wish they were a foot longer to fit a 7' rod because they are a good rod sleeves for the money. Pull the sleeve to tighten if you want to expand the sleeve opening. That's how to get over the big ferrel. The sleeves are good for rods that are less than 6 1/2'.
👤It's so easy to get the poles in-and-out of the suburban without them getting tangled up if you don't have some.
👤I had line guides and finger holds from my bait casting rods that were sticking out of the mesh, which made them grab more than if they were not covered. I don't see any use for them.
👤I will not let my rods go anywhere without these. So many rods were saved. I like it.
The Sougayilang RZC20 saltwater fishing reel is loaded with many un-matched features which cannot be found on other reels in its class. The gear ratio is not very high. Solid pine construction. It's easy to screws into place. Holds up to nine rods. It's a great way to use spare space. The type of sport is outdoor lifestyle.
👤If you are a bass fisherman, this is for you. If you're a saltwater fisherman, you should get a bigger holder. I do both. All of my smaller rods fit, but anything I would use in salt, even the smaller stuff, doesn't fit. If you spread them apart, the rod would be an awful lot smaller. It was easy to mount and it looks good. It was mounted to the wall or ceiling with the necessary hardware. I'm happy with it, but I wish it was a bit bigger so it could hold my catfish rods.
👤Not bad. Light pine. stained I could not make my own. One set holds rods. I have spinners and bait. There are ice rods and kids poles. The ceiling of my trailer was screwed into. The screws are not tight. Better anchors or longer scews? It was tight enough to hold the rods. It was shorter than expected. In. It was long. There are 1.5 holes in the round. The pole fit. 2.5 in. It was wide. 75 in thick. The tip is about 1 in wide. The brackets are from the factory. It's not a bad deal to get my rods off the floor. I would make my own for 10 bucks, but I don't have the time. I bought two sets for 40 bucks. Done. This is very light china pine wood. If you drill larger holes, the wood may crack out. Use caution. The lenth of the wood is run by grain. If air born, china stain is probable cancer. These work well for me. The flyrods are held in the tip holes in the second set. The short poles are hanging out the handle holes and I am ordering another set for the short stuff.
👤The pieces are in the garbage. Before the first screw was put in, this broke. The screw that split the wood was sent sideways by the poorly drilled holes, and the whole corner snapped off when I tried to remove it. I lost my grip and it broke in half. This is Gamble and it is right where it is. $17 wasted. You have been defeated. Buy at your own risk.
👤I own two of these mounts. The first one arrived in perfect condition. I mounted it directly to the floor joists on the ceiling of my basement, using the 2 screw mount holes on either side. The screws alone into the joists will hold a lot of weight and didn't bother with the brackets. I ordered a second mount a couple months later and it was broken when I received it, but it was the same mount that arrived via theUPS. The mount will likely be stronger than the original product because I used a metal Simpson strong tie andGorilla Glue to repair it. I decided to just glue it, attach a strong-tie, and mount it on the ceiling joist, instead of setting up a return through Amazon. It's simple and works perfectly fine for storing up to 11 fishing rods, but it's weak and fragile during shipping, so it's probably not worth a 5-star rating. It's easy to work with but break easily so be careful when mounting this to a wall or ceiling.
It's easy to install, just peel and paste, no tools or drills are needed. There is a space saving measure. The fishing rods rack can hold up to 8 rods and can be expanded to hold more. Anti-Corrosion: The black power coated finish on the storage rack is high quality. Easy installation. The mounting hardware was included. Fix on the wall or ceiling and have easy access to your rods and sticks. It is possible to make a multi-purpose plan. It's great for storing fishing poles, Hiking Poles, Ski Poles, Hockey Sticks, and Cue on a boat, truck, or at home or garage. The dimensions are 2.36 in. L x 16.9 in. The hole is 1.5in in diameter.
👤The anchor for the screws do not anchor.
👤The item is easy to use. Highly recommended.
👤If you have limited space, it's a great product.
