The size of theRACK is sufficient for a premium storage solution for your fishing gear. There are rods and reels in the store. Works either vertically or horizontally. Great in garage, basement, ceiling, boat, truck, camper and more.
👤The rod holder is well made. It doesn't have instructions on how to install the set screws that hold the rings and tip holders. There are a few discoveries that may be helpful to you. The tip holders and the rings that hold the rod handles should be used with shorter set screws. 2. I couldn't put the set screws in while the holders were in the track. There is not enough room for the set screws to be started with the allen wrench. 3. The secret to doing this quickly is to remove the holders from both tracks. You can start the screws with your fingers if you put them in from the bottom of the holders. The closed end of the set screws should be facing down, while the open end should be towards the top of the holder. You can back out the set screws with the long arm of the allen wrench if you start them and put them in as far as you can. You should be able to slide the holders back into the track if you back them out until the top of the set screw is flush with the inside of the holder. You can position each holder where you want it, and tighten the set screw to hold it there. The package tells you to mount the tracks with #8 screws that are not included, but you can call a toll-free number to ask questions. Instructions and 10 #8 screws could have been included for 15 cents more. I am giving it four stars, but that would have earned 5 stars. It does a great job of keeping my rods in place. Also, note: If you are putting spinning reels on the wall, you may only be able to fit 4 or 5 rods, and have enough room for the reels. If you mix the handle and tip holders, you can fit 3 rods one way and 3 rods the other way. If you don't have enough wall space for 1/3rd to 1/2 the rod length on both sides of the track, the rods won't fit. If you are mounting the rods overhead or vertically, the reels can hang down from the rack, which is not a problem.
👤This rod rack is made of high quality materials. It can be attached to garage drywall and can be used for horizontal or vertical mounting. 6 large rings for rod handles, 6 small j hooks for rod tips, 2 metal mounting bars, and 6 large and 6 small allen screws make for an easy and logical assembly. You don't have to give instructions when you look at all of the parts. It makes sense that you need to provide your own screws for mounting the bars, since you may want to use a different type of steel for your project. Once the bars are mounted, you can adjust the allen keys by sliding the holders on the bar. It was nice to see "Made in the USA".
The fishing rod holder is easy to assemble. You can store up to 6 Rods. The Calamus fishing pole holder can hold six individual rods in less than 14 inches of wall space. It's perfect for keeping your reels and rods in place. Depending on your needs, you can adjust the distance between the two rod racks. Simple installation. It is easy to install and light weight. To install the rod rack, you need to determine the location of the rod rack, level it, mark the mounting holes, drill and install the anchors, and tighten the screws with a screwdriver. Interlocking System The interlocking design makes it easy to extend more than one rod rack. Two pairs are a better choice if you have many fishing rods. The Calamus fishing pole rack is made of durable foam grip pads that are designed to hold the poles safely and protect your rods from scratches. One size fits better. The rod's diameter is 0.28''-0.4''. The vertical fishing rod holder has a base that prevents rods from sliding down. There are two types of fishing pole holder. Both can be mounted on the wall of a garage or workshop to prevent damage. The Horizontal Style can be put on the wall to prevent injury to children. There are two types of fishing pole holder. 👤I bought 3 sets of these for my husband. I think it cost me $65. I looked at many different types and this was the one that had the best reviews. The Eva foam is used to hold the poles. This is a great way to get all of our poles up off the floor. They used to lean against the wall. This gave my Husband a lot of space back in his shed, which is nice and neat. I would definitely recommend them.
👤If you have baitcasters on the rods, you will have to skip a holder to fit them properly, so be aware that these are good rod holders. They will push on each other if not.
👤These are not the best rod holder, but they work. The foam is stiff enough to hold the rods but not sure how long it will last. You can use them as two individual units if you slide them together. This is a good deal for the money.
👤It's easy to get to each rod when I go fishing with this thing, it looks good with all of the rods on it. It was easy to install, just a couple of screws. It's easy to use, just put the base of the rod in the base and snap the upper part of the rod in the top section.
👤I put them inside my dock box. I used heavy duty Velcro. It worked out well.
👤I use these holders to hold my golf clubs.
👤They seem to have a tight grip on the pole. I will be happy if it stays that way. I put it in my baggage compartment. Thin walls make it difficult to tell what is on the other side.
👤This product was the perfect way to get those rods out of the corner. Several rods were damaged when I stood them in the corner. The rod holder solved my problem.
Comes with 2 packs. The fish rod rack is a good choice for small trucks, garage, mobile homes and camper shells, even it's a good choice for the car with 4 Arm Rests. The boat horizontal rod holders are suitable for 6 Rods Storage. Appropriate size for you to store about 6 pieces of rods makes your home or garage well organized and clean. The horizontal fishing rod rack is easy to install and disassemble, and you only need to use the 6 installation screws and the matching mounting hardware. The fish rod holders for boat are made of plastic material, and the grip pad is made of elastic foam material, not easy to bend or break, can be kept and applied for a long time. There are 2 pairs of boat mount fishing rod holders, which are nice to have in your possession, and you can use them to store your fishing rods. The horizontal fishing rod holders are suitable for many decoration styles and places, such as game rooms, restaurants, bars, clubs, and so on.
The stopper slot was built into the base of the rod holder. The nylon construction is made in the USA and has a bungee cord that is 888-282-0465.
👤I needed another way to transport my surf poles since I got rid of my pick up. I decided to give this a try because I didn't want to get roof rack for my SUV or car. I could use this on different vehicles if I needed to. I know this is better suited for the average fishing pole, which is geared toward the smaller freshwater pole and reel. I was able to use it on the hood of the car. This time of year with shoe traffic, it is not uncommon to get pulled over. It was best to avoid the hassle of being pulled over. There are two 12 ft poles and one 7 inch pole in the picture. I decided to take the reels off for the first trip since they are very expensive, and I was a little weary of how well the magnets would hold. I drove across a bridge on the way home that was very windy. I hit the highway to see how the rack did. I was nervous on the way out. This was not a short drive. I wasn't going fishing with fly rods or ultra light fishing gear. Had the sun roof open so I could see the poles andrack in case I had to grab them. Not one to write. I think I pushed the rack to its limits and it did a great job. Would recommend and buy again. There is a word of caution for those with cars. The picture is attached. If the poles are on the roof, be careful opening the hatch. I almost broke my surf pole. The pole was 7ft. Pole hang over the front of the car is anywayanyday.
👤I have taken the model up to 80m/h here in Texas and it has not had any issues. I am confident it can handle the 85m/h roads but I try to take it easy because I want to be safe. I place the front mount towards the front so that it is at an angle, then I place the rods with the reel towards the front and tip of the rod towards the rear. I was skeptical at first. It would take more than just wind to kick this off the roof.
👤I like to use my small fuel efficient car to get to my favorite fishing spots because I have to travel 50 to 90 miles to get there. Without these poles, I wouldn't be able to do that because they don't break down. In cross winds, I drive 65 to 70 miles an hour. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
👤When I received this item, I was excited. This seems to be a good product. The material is flexible and strong. The bungee cord is strong. It feels like it will cause a damage to your car when you put this on it, so you have to be careful. I don't think it will fly away, but I haven't driven it with fishing rods yet. The rubber cap on the magnet is likely to break. It would be nice if it came with spare rubber caps. I tried the fishing rod on my truck. I will be carrying some rods. Will this hold over time? 5 For now. After a year, there is an update. It is going strong. At 60-65 mph, it holds very well. I don't leave my car on the roof because it can be stolen and because too much sun can damage the rubber. Will purchase a second set.
There are three sizes of clips and they slide easily for custom configuration. Simple mobility can be accomplished with locking wheels. The rubber inlay is abrasive. Heavy duty rod rack. Accommodates up to 32 rods. The track rack system has a lot of storage. Inlaid rubber diamond plate is used to secure rod butts.
👤It looks great after it was assembled. It was a great bargain to buy used for $37. Just like new. This will hold 6 or 7 bluefish/striped bass rods with Jigmaster type reels on each side. I can squeeze in smaller rods. There are water rods in between the reels. Excellent quality, no complaints.
👤The clips for the poles are what separates the poles, so I only give three stars. It would be better if they were tight and held them up on their own.
👤The package was opened before and there were bolts and screws missing. Poorly finished and plastic rod clips are easy to break.
👤I looked at one side panel and it was enough. Returned.
👤I like that it is portable because I have a tight space to store our rods.
👤More for the price is expected. It was easy to build and I like the design. The product was damaged when put together and is not as strong as I thought. I think our products are better for the price.
👤Just what we needed. Holds poles well.
👤It was a nice size. Good quality. I think it will do well.
There is a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you do have an issue with your new purchase, just let them know and they will make it right. 100% satisfaction with their customers and products is what they strive for. The fishing rod storage rack is made of high quality acrylic. It lasts for years and protects your fishing rods. The fishing rod rack can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. A pole holder is a must for outdoor or indoor storage areas. The design has deep grooves in the rod rest. The distance between the two brackets should be adjusted. It can hold up to 8 rods. The storage rack is easy to clean and feels delicate. The length is about 15 x 2.16 x 1 inches. The hole is 1.5 inches in diameter. The length is about 15 x 2.16 x 1 inches. The hole is 1.5 inches in diameter.
👤It fell off of the wall after being hung up. Rods too! Disappointed. It's a waste of money. The husband was angry.
👤Don't tighten the screws. I cracked mine, so leave them a little loose. The product could use some inserts. I used rubber washers to snug it up. The product will do what it is supposed to do.
👤Cheap plastic. I bought two sets. One lasted two days. Money was wasted.
👤The rod holders broke when I hung the fishing rods. This is a very cheap product. It's garbage. Don't buy.
👤flimsy plastic broke as it was being installed. Within 5 minutes of receiving, in the trash can.
1.5” diameter holders for all fishing pole sizes, can hold 8 rods or combo on either side, 2 handles for easy carrying and transportation, and a fish design on both sides of frame. As your fishing rod collection grows, you can add rack storage space. The fish design is innovative. One unit can hold up to eight combinations. Rods are protected and secured with rubber clips.
👤The wood is made of wood. I don't think it will hold up to the elements. The clips for the top mount work well. It is necessary to hold the rods in a moderate wind under the covered porch where mine is mounted. The bottom shelf has worthless mounting brackets. They can't hold the weight of the shelf without flexing. When you add any rods, they just slide off. The cheap plastic brackets that came with the Rod holder were thrown in the trash. I would have returned the rod holder if I had not had the steel angle brackets. The pressboard material and this one are two stars.
👤I bought a solid wood piece a year ago. The new style of press board garbage that you add to is junk. So sad.
👤The unit came with plastic mounting brackets for the lower shelf that are flimsy and ill-suited for the task, each attached to the lower shelf with only one small screw. The installation instructions show a metal l-bracket attached to the lower shelf with four screws. The company decided to cut costs by using cheap plastic brackets instead of printing the instructions. The flimsy plastic mounts in the back of the upper rack make mounting difficult and the low quality screws provided can't be made. The plastic track was stapled into the grooves with two small scissors and easily pulled out with light pressure. If you have to buy this item, I suggest you use panhead screws and metal l-brackets to mount the rack instead of the provided screws and brackets. I wouldn't use this rack.
👤It's easy to install. Looks great.
👤I had high hopes for this. It looked like a simple rack. The picture and description are not what it is. The rack was damaged when I received it. There was a chip on the bottom rack. This was a manufacturing defect as it was packaged perfectly and it was likely caused by the hole they drilled. This was not a nice 'oak' rack, it was pressed wood. It is going in a garage and the price is not excessive. I decided to plug in. I was unable to secure the back of the top rack because the screws that hold it in place were stripped. The top is less secure against the wall. I don't like the idea of the keyhole slots being mounted as it is, they require great precision when placed in the wall. All bets are off if you are off by a small amount. It's difficult to slide both screws into the slots at the same time when you're dead on. They should have provided plugs to go over the holes that were drilled 16 inches apart. The top is a bit wobbly as a result of design and poor manufacturing. The rubber rod holders are inconsistent in their grip. Some of them are so loose that they barely hold the rod. When you pull a rod out of a wobbly top, you have to hold the top rack against the wall while trying to create a small gap in the holder to free the rod. The bottom slots for the rods are too close. It's not a deal breaker and it's common with all the holders I viewed, but it's just one more annoyance. It isn't worth the effort to take it down and package it back up, since I only paid 15 bucks for it. I will write this one up to a lesson learned. I will make my own replacement. There are rubber grips for the top.
The Sougayilang RZC20 saltwater fishing reel is loaded with many un-matched features which cannot be found on other reels in its class. The gear ratio is not very high. Solid pine construction. It's easy to screws into place. Holds up to nine rods. It's a great way to use spare space. The type of sport is outdoor lifestyle.
👤If you are a bass fisherman, this is for you. If you're a saltwater fisherman, you should get a bigger holder. I do both. All of my smaller rods fit, but anything I would use in salt, even the smaller stuff, doesn't fit. If you spread them apart, the rod would be an awful lot smaller. It was easy to mount and it looks good. It was mounted to the wall or ceiling with the necessary hardware. I'm happy with it, but I wish it was a bit bigger so it could hold my catfish rods.
👤Not bad. Light pine. stained I could not make my own. One set holds rods. I have spinners and bait. There are ice rods and kids poles. The ceiling of my trailer was screwed into. The screws are not tight. Better anchors or longer scews? It was tight enough to hold the rods. It was shorter than expected. In. It was long. There are 1.5 holes in the round. The pole fit. 2.5 in. It was wide. 75 in thick. The tip is about 1 in wide. The brackets are from the factory. It's not a bad deal to get my rods off the floor. I would make my own for 10 bucks, but I don't have the time. I bought two sets for 40 bucks. Done. This is very light china pine wood. If you drill larger holes, the wood may crack out. Use caution. The lenth of the wood is run by grain. If air born, china stain is probable cancer. These work well for me. The flyrods are held in the tip holes in the second set. The short poles are hanging out the handle holes and I am ordering another set for the short stuff.
👤The pieces are in the garbage. Before the first screw was put in, this broke. The screw that split the wood was sent sideways by the poorly drilled holes, and the whole corner snapped off when I tried to remove it. I lost my grip and it broke in half. This is Gamble and it is right where it is. $17 wasted. You have been defeated. Buy at your own risk.
👤I own two of these mounts. The first one arrived in perfect condition. I mounted it directly to the floor joists on the ceiling of my basement, using the 2 screw mount holes on either side. The screws alone into the joists will hold a lot of weight and didn't bother with the brackets. I ordered a second mount a couple months later and it was broken when I received it, but it was the same mount that arrived via theUPS. The mount will likely be stronger than the original product because I used a metal Simpson strong tie andGorilla Glue to repair it. I decided to just glue it, attach a strong-tie, and mount it on the ceiling joist, instead of setting up a return through Amazon. It's simple and works perfectly fine for storing up to 11 fishing rods, but it's weak and fragile during shipping, so it's probably not worth a 5-star rating. It's easy to work with but break easily so be careful when mounting this to a wall or ceiling.
The dimensions are 28.6” (L) x 11” (W) x 28” (H). Black and Silver are the colors. The rod rack can hold up to 24 rods. You can secure up to 4 freshwater, saltwater, or fly-fishing rods with the reel still attached. The mounting options are Overhead, Vertical, or Horizontal. There is no maintenance here. Multiple units can be placed next to each other. The injection molded unit was made of plastic. The 90 degree bend at the top makes these racks very sturdy and can be mounted to virtually any flat surface. There are no sharp edges that could damage fishing rods. The shock cord closure acts as a net to keep your rods out of harms way. The injection molded unit was made of plastic. 👤The rod rack has good quality. The bungee helps hold the rods in. There is a serious flaw in the design. The package has the rack in it. I tried to mount them on the side of my boat, but the handle holes were lined up. It's like having two different sides. The holes that hold the handles are the same as the pieces. That makes sense. I could turn one upside down. The slot to slide the rod tips was slanted down. Not sure that would work. I might have to return them. I liked the one piece design. These are better for an overhead mount. It could be an overhead or side mount if the design is changed.
👤I have two of these, and have had one of them on my garage door for about two years, and no problems holding 5 big surf outfits. The bungee cord is strong. Good product!
👤The item worked well under my camper. It would be a good idea for anyone looking to store fishing gear.
👤It works great to put fishing rods under a wire mesh garage ceiling shelf.
👤I mounted it in the back window of my truck and it works well. It works well with 4 rods.
👤No era del tamao adecuado.
👤I have used these rod holders on our boat and dock box. Hold rods securely.
👤It was used for several months now. I beat them on the great lakes. They have held up well. The design is simple and rugged.
The dimensions of the Mount are 4” x 2” x 2. Storage for three rods. Can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The plastic construction is durable. It's suitable for both spinning and casting rods. The size is 7 inches x 7 inches.
👤I don't think I should have read all the reviews because they are not true. I review my products to see what others are saying. The reviews for the product are garbage by the manufacturer. The foam insert is very stiff. I tried to put the old rods in the foam slot. I broke the rod tips. If this had happened to my rods, I would have to pay. I don't think these holders can hold a rod if they are too stiff to hold it. I should not have to shave down the foam insert because it's not safe for my rods. I am not sending these back because I am trying to attach jerry-rig rod holders to the sides of my bed liner to get my rods off the bed floor and out of harm's way. Please buy a better product if you want to mount your rods in your garage or house. Our rods are too valuable to risk breaking them or having to modify a product to be safe. I hope this will help my fellow fishermen.
👤I needed to replace some rod storage holders on my whaler. They were tired. I was trying to find a similar replacement at the common retailers and found this match on Amazon. I wanted to leave a review for one reason, regardless of how good of a match this was for me. Someone left a review saying they were too tight and you would break your rod unless you cut out foam. If you're using a standard 6 to 7' foot rod and reel combo, these work great. They need to be snug to hold your equipment. It takes two hands to get the rods in. The rods are pretty tight, but if you use two hands to slide them into position, you reduce the risk of damage to them by almost 100%. They were a bug on my boat even when I was in the harbor. I may need a new set after a while. I hope I'm fishing enough to wear them out. That is a good problem to have.
👤These work well. There's not much more to add. When installing scews, be careful. I put cracks in the gel coat of my fiberglass boat because I didn't check the first two screws carefully. Oops! I had to take them out, grind off the screws, and then move outside the boat to fix my mistake.
👤I don't have anything bad to say about the product, it's just that I couldn't use it on my boat. It was too big to fit in where I needed it to be. I think I should have paid more attention to the dimensions because it looked small online. I was surprised at how big it was.
👤I had rod handle holders in the cabin of my boat, but the rods themselves were on the shelves. The rods would fly because the ocean isn't always gentle. These were perfect. I added straps. Am holding rods. I have a thin one that is easy to modify and make into what you need. Hopefully the photos give you a better idea of your size.
The official rack size is 26 L x 11 W x 37 H. The package includes a fishing pole holder and a fishing rod rack strap. The rod rack holder is designed to hold fishing rods for men. It is easy to place and take out a fishing pole in a car because it is firmly held, organized and protected. A fishing rod roof rack will save a lot of space. The fishing rod will be neatly stored in the car with the pole stand. It's perfect for SUV, Wagons, Truck and Vans. The pole rack system is innovative. The pole holder can hold a fishing rod and reel combine. It can be adjusted according to the width of the vehicle. If you don't have four leash bars, you could buy and affix cups to hold the strap. Make sure the cup is strong. Before you drive, make sure everything is locked up. If you don't have four leash bars, you could buy and affix cups to hold the strap. Make sure the cup is strong. Before you drive, make sure everything is locked up.
👤I bought this because I don't like having multiple fishing poles going across the car and back seat with kids in the back. The back seats were freed up for a camping trip. I don't think it's meant to be used every day, but for a trip where you load them up and take them out once or twice, it's good.
👤It's easier to load and unload rods if the straps are made of pvc pipe.
👤We couldn't find anything to hold gear so I bought these for the roof. These are great for things other than fishing rods.
👤It is easy to install, but it is difficult to adjust it tighter.
👤The quality is decent and it has held up. It allows you to save space. Make sure you face the loops when you strap the rods in.
👤If you have 3rd row seating and don't have the bars on the side, you have to put your combo in backwards so you don't get hit by the reels.
👤I put my fishing rods on my SUV. Don't worry about the trouble to carry if you take them to fishing all the time.
