The coating protects against UV rays. The added benefit of bifocal / reading power is delivered by this lens. The back side of the lens has a bifocal segment integrated. The Z89.0 lens is extremely impact resistant. It's available in +2.00 and +1.50. +2.50 powers. In a wide range of lighting conditions, copper tint offers excellent contrast.
👤My first pair lasted two years before they needed to be replaced. The second pair lasted less than two years. The frame broke nine months after my third and last pair. The first two came with a hard plastic case and the last with a cloth pouch. The first pair of sunglasses I own. The other two pairs are not being thrown away. The sunglasses have great vision. The lens are scratch resistant. The readers are doing a great job. The third pair I ordered were 2.0 and the box said 2.0, but the actual sunglasses were 1.75. I didn't need to come back. I will go with a different brand this time. If the frames hadn't declined, I would have bought them again.
👤The wrap-around design has good sun coverage from the sides. There is a On average, they look good. The reader area of the lens is clear and of decent quality. I would have preferred it to be 10% larger. The proportions are right for driving and reading the dashboard. They're less effective when you don't drive and don't want to read anything else, like a phone or magazine. After using them, there was a plastic smell for about 3-4 weeks, which eventually went away. It must have been recently manufactured. The wrap-around fit is snug, and my hat size is only about 7 1/2, so my head is not a big melon. They will almost certainly never fall off, probably not even on some of the best roller coaster rides, but a slightly looser fit would make them more comfortable the other 99% of the time. I've worn them on 8-hour car drives if they got to be too annoying. They never did. I would buy them again.
👤The perfect size is the bifocal line. These are great for people who don't need prescription glasses. The data from my sports tracking app is visible when I ride my Trikke. I can see everything at any distance. These are well-made. I get a compliment on my sunglasses. I bought my first pair when I needed 1.5 years ago. I bought them last year with strength 2. A very rambunctious kitten got hold of them and separated one of the lens from the frame. I ordered a new pair of sunglasses immediately, and they are the best wraparound bifocal sunglasses available. Unless there is anotheritten incident, I will buy my next pair when I am older.
👤I liked these glasses when they were first purchased. They broke at the nose frame when I took them off my head. Unfortunate. I have contacted the manufacturer but have not received a reply. I don't think I mistreated them. They sat in the case in my car. I don't wear sunglasses often. I may need to use two hands to pressure the frame on both sides, but there are no such instructions. I would probably try them again and be more careful if they weren't so expensive. I'd be looking for $39.95 prices. I would say that these are worth something. Others may not have any issues with broken things. They seem to be reasonable quality. It's similar to the plastic frames you get at the gas station. I have had my gas station purchases hold up better. I'm guessing that I was just unlucky. Maybe they were cracked when I bought them.
The coating protects against UV rays. The lens width is 65 millimeters.
👤These were a replacement for a pair of glasses I bought almost eight years ago that were still in great condition, so I can speak to the longevity of the product, assuming my good. The frames seem to be more accommodating to my large noggin, as I wear a size 77/8-8 hat, and I think this latest pair is slightly improved over the old pair. These fit my skull better than the older pair because they pinched right above my ears, allowing the slightly bowed-out front to bounce a little on my face. In a perfect world, the lens would be just slightly darker to keep my blue eyes happier and allow me more furtive glances, but I can't complain about them. Everything looks vibrant and they only leave me squinting when the sun's really directly in my eyes, even though I'm sensitive to light and anything short of a welding mask leaves me vulnerable in that regard. The broad arms help keep the bright spots out of the gaps. Is there protection for sensitive eyes? Check. Someone with a head like a Peanuts character is a good fit. Check. Over seven years of daily use in all kinds of climates and geographies is proven to be durable. Check. If I ever lose this pair, I'll buy the same ones again, because these are the best sunglasses I've ever owned.
👤I bought my first pair of shoes in 1983. I was 800-273-3217 Being offshore for up to 70 days straight per trip, working a white deck on a 95ft boat, in the south pacific all day was all about being protected from the elliments. My Maui Jims were the best piece of equipment that I had because I had the Best POLORIZED sunglasses. I refuse to wear anything else. Thanks Jim!
👤These are the second pair of Maui Jim Peahi Wrap's I have owned. The glass lens we have to wear during this Covid-19 pandemic will cause some fogging of the lens because of the fact that we have to wear a face covering. The glass lens will fog if the lens is cold and you put it on with a warm face. I'm not aware of a better clarity and polarized lens on the market, but you get that because of the glass. The best time to view them is during the fall season. These will impress you if you live in an area that can experience the changing of leave colors. After sitting on my previous pair a few weeks ago, one of the lens cracked. They did not break, but they caused a viewing obstacle. I didn't want to get anything else than the same pair. The tech in my previous pair was not as good. I think these sunglasses deserve a proper review. I said my peace. You won't be disappointed if you buy these.
The lens is made from superior German and Japanese materials. The coating is scratch resistant. The lens is 2.5 inches wide. The key features are that they reduce glare and they protect your eyes from flying objects. Grilamid frames are lightweight, durable, and comfortable. The 1.0mm lens is comparable to the thickness you would find on much higher priced sports eyewear. There is a double decentering test that must be passed to ensure there is no optical distortion which can cause eye strain and headaches. The sunglasses help reduce glare caused by reflected light. The sunglass frames of the PREMIUM FRAMES are made from the same Grilamid material used in military and medical applications. Grilamid frames are known for their strength, lightweight comfort, and shape integrity. The tacky nose and temple pads prevent slipping, and the material is very lightweight and malleable.
👤I know how to fish. I was raised in a boat. One of the world's largest professional bass fishing tournament trails is where I work. These glasses are really nice. They fit my face perfectly. When I am cruising across the lake at 70mph, they block the wind. Most sunglasses don't do a good job of this. On sunny days and on partly cloudy days, the lens's polarization does a great job of cutting through the glare. It helps to see bedded and cruising fish. You can't see structure in dirty water. No glasses can make that possible. These glasses help when the water is dingy or cleaner. When the sun glare makes it hard to see the screen, I look at my graphs on sunny days. They are heavy enough to feel them, but not so heavy that they are a distraction. The price made me hesitant to purchase them. I am not disappointed. I own some expensive fishing sunglasses. I was very disappointed when I bought these. I feel dumb for paying $279 for my Costas. You can get a great pair of fishing sunglasses for less than Costas. You will not be disappointed.
👤My new sunglasses came in today. I am used to wearing brands such as Costa and VZ. The first impression was very good. The sunglasses are in plastic, A+, and they are in a nice packaging, semi-hard shell case, cloth bag, and then inside. They fit well across the bridge of the nose, not being able to try them on first. It fit well above the ears. I shook my head when I bent over and tried to grab that fish. The glasses did not move. Everything looked crisp because of the clear and vibrant A+ Lenses. There was a bright sun between clouds. Shadows are distinguished against other objects. The A+ Crastmanship is on par with other popular classes. There are points for the nose and ears. The finish is clean and well placed. I highly recommend these sunglasses for outdoor sports, fishing, driving, and such.
👤I have been wearing Costa Del Mar for a long time and these are very nice, I have a small-medium narrow face and these fit and look very good.
👤Highly recommend, update, Sep 18, 2021. I bought these sunglasses on Sep 24. It has been a long time since these glasses were last used and it came to an end. The lens and frame are in great shape. The soft rubbery nose pieces have been ripped naturally. It will cost more to buy a new pair of glasses than it will be to find the pieces. I bought these sunglasses 3 years ago and wanted to share my experiences with you. I hope you have the same experience I had. I've spent 26 dollars on Amazon. The sunglasses are unbreakable. It feels like it's new and doesn't have any scratches. I would love to give more than that. I purchased on September 24th. I don't know how to keep my sunglasses out of my eyes. Sometimes I put them in my pocket, but most of the time I drop them on the ground. My sun-glass stays on my head or neck because I wear glasses. I have ordered these sunglasses for a purpose and I think they will survive for 2 to 3 months. It has been five months and it still looks new. There is no scratch on the surface of the lens. The quality of the lens is excellent. I will buy them again.
The coating protects against UV rays. The lens width is 65 millimeters. 40 millimeters lens height.
👤They are not the same as my other pair, but they are not identical. The frame on the left side of the temple is called "saltbreak" and the color of it is black. These did not, and there were some seams that should not be there. I will buy directly from the source or wait for another boat show, this experience has me rethinking Amazon as a legit seller.
👤I go through a bunch of sunglasses, so I don't buy more expensive ones. I decided to try it out because my father in law had a pair, but I was skeptical. I bought another Costa model and was very impressed. The clear look was something I had never experienced before. You don't realize what you don't have. I use those at work, and wanted to try the saltbreak with glass for off work use where I'm less likely to get punched in the face. The glass is two steps higher than the poly carbonate lenses. It's like having an orgasm. Ray Ban, Under Armour, and Oakley are not as good as Costa. You get what you pay for. The others are worn out, so I bought another pair. Still working outside, but is pretty beat up. Wear all the time, no low quality workmanship. I like these glasses. It's great anywhere. Just put the new ones on. Nicccce!
👤I purchased a pair of glasses. Salt breaks from this seller. I was greeted with a smaller box that contained the sunglasses when I opened the box on Amazon. After opening the smaller box and the carrying case, I was greeted with a nice pair of used glasses. They appeared to be used. The fingerprints were all over the frames. There were stains on the inside of the lens from where someone else had wiped them off. I was told I was getting "580G" lens. There is a sticker in the top right corner of the lens. Yes, "P", as in plastic. I am not happy. I will be ordering them from COSTA.
👤COSTA shades are a gift from my oldest daughter. Costa's site was visited by many people and they did not find retainers that fit the wide legs. I acknowledge that I have a responsibility to look after the expensive shades. COSTA should provide retainers that fit the Saltbreak legs. I tried on some of the online ones that I couldn't find retainers that fit. I spent a lot of time online searching for retainers that fit the wide legs. COSTA doesn't sell fitting retainers because they hope shades are lost. I will care for them. Is it possible that I would replace them exactly? It's too expensive, and too many competitive alternatives. I'm past the age of having to impress. The fit is good, but can't say if it's a $250 fit.
👤Everything is in the original box. I was skeptical about the sunglasses but soon found out they were worth it. For daily use, get blue, brown, green, and gray/black for the ocean, rivers, and lakes.
The coating protects against UV rays. The lens width is 62 millimeters. The lens height is 41 millimeters.
👤The price was too good to be true. The silver C on the arms was a little off in color, the rubber pieces didn't line up cleanly with the plastic, and the counterfeit pair was a little off in color. The right lense was etched with 580, the glasses case looked legit, the packing material was pretty convincing, and the lense itself was pretty clear. When put next to the genuine article, there were discrepancies. Costa told me that they don't sell their sunglasses on Amazon. Costa isn't selling you their glasses at 50% the usual price here, but there are legitimate retailers selling them.
👤The glasses were not real. The trademarks were incorrect. There were incorrect 580p identifications on the lenses. Lettering on a frame was not consistent with Costa del mar. I immediately returned them.
👤The blue mirror tuna alleys were purchased from Amazon. Com. Costa purchased the green mirror tuns alley on the right side a year ago. There are differences on the inside of the frames. The Blue Mirror say it was made in Italy. Costa makes frames in Italy. Someone can verify this for all the sunglasses experts. There is a metal screw in the hinges in picture 3. The ones purchased directly from Costa look smaller. Is it possible that someone could verify these are authentic? I have read that Costa offers a global fit and I have a feeling these ones just ordered from Amazon might be that.
👤They are the best sunglasses I have used in my entire life, and I have used many more brands. Costa del Mar is a bit dark at first because they are designed to protect the eyes from the sun and glare in the most extreme conditions, but you get used to it in a few minutes. I use it for a lot of things. Costa del Mar is the best place in the world, I don't know how I could recommend these sunglasses more. Excellent.
👤I would have preferred to be glass, they look and feel like plastic, but for the price, I would have preferred to be glass. Don't play the send back and forth game, contact everyone and the brother to get this resolved, because you don't have time.
👤I needed to be able to sight-fish while fly fishing in Colorado so I bought these glasses. I've always been hesitant to buy high end glasses because I break them frequently. These are the best glasses I have ever worn. They are comfortable, have a great polarization, and are not too dark when fishing. I have had a pair of Costa 580p glasses before and they are a much better product, but there is a noticeable weight difference.
👤This is my second pair of glasses, which should tell you that I really like them. I bought them at the recommendation of my eye doctor since I am involved in a lot of outdoor activities. When you wear these glasses, you get superior protection from the sun because they block out sunlight through the lens and the light that typically enters around the frames. My first pair had plastic and my second had glass. If you are getting a "progressive" prescription, you need the plastic lens, and the plastic is supposedly lighter. The Costa del Mar website says that the glass lens is more scratch resistant than the plastic, but I don't think so. The Costa del Mar website states that the block blue and yellow light of the 580's lens cuts haze. It's hard to tell if it's the change from plastic to glass or if it's just the difference between the two. The glasses with the 580G are awesome. They are comfortable and provide great sun protection. I think the crystal frames with the blue finished lens are cool, but they come in a number of colors, and I get a lot of comments on them. If you are fishing or boating, I would recommend a retainer to hold them in place. I put them up on my baseball cap while I cleaned the deck, which was not a good idea. The large ends of the Chums retainer work perfectly.
The Tri Acetate Cellulose lens is made of Cellulose. The coating protects against UV rays. The lens is 2.50 inches wide. The frame of the sunglasses is made of unsinkable plastic. The lake, river and ocean are great places to enjoy time together. They use a high quality lens with 100% UV protection. It will block harmful rays, protect eyes, and prevent anti-glare. They have good anti scratch and high transparency. TPX material is an ultra-lightweight and flexible material designed in Japan for the ultimate in comfort. You can wear all day long without stress. The wrap around design is ideal for outdoor sports such as running, surfing, boating, golfiing and fishing and can also be used as fashionable accessories in daily life. All customers get a 30 day money back guarantee. If the purchase is not satisfactory, customers can return and get a refund. The sunglasses are covered against defects in workmanship for two years after purchase.
👤These sun glasses are very good. Work is just as good as the high end sunglasses, but at a fraction of the cost. I could see fish in the water that I wouldn't normally be able to see. I hope they last a while but only time will tell. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys fishing. There is an update. So far, so good. The fishing season in the South Texas bays ended in October. I've owned cheaper sunglasses in the past, but the polarized coating has stayed the same. These sunglasses float. My sunglasses took a plunge when the Texas Gulf coast winds blew items off of boat consoles. I was able to retrieve with ease because of their ability to float. I have to go fishing next spring. Happy.
👤I bought these for my husband to use on the lake. They look great! Even from the side, block the sun. They fit his large head. Yes, they float!
👤So far, so good! I can't find sunglasses that fit my head. When buying a new pair, I look at that first criteria. I need a good lens coverage and the right kind of tint for my face. I can't wait to try out my glasses on the water. I have a beach trip coming up, and I fish a lot. I will update this review if anything fails or changes.
👤A friend of mine recommended me to buy a pair of sunglasses. They arrived in time for my trip to the beach. All I can say is that it is amazing. The glasses are inexpensive but perform better than my other glasses. The quality of the lens was excellent. These sunglasses are very good.
👤I love these sunglasses, they were purchased for our kayaking excursions. The sun doesn't get in on the sides of the sunglasses. If I lose these in the water, I will buy again.
👤These are better than I thought. Everything is clearer and more crisp. Great sunglasses!
👤These sunglasses fit me well. The quality of the sunglasses is the same.
👤I wore these while fishing. My eyes were protected from the sun. I'm not sure if they are as good as the name brand frames for seeing fish in the water.
The coating protects against UV rays. The lens width is 61 millimeters. The lens height is 41 millimeters.
👤Costa was once a great company who supported their products. That has changed. I have used other brands when I received gifts, but none were as good as Costas. The glass lens was the only lens that could hold up for a long time. The lens would not work in 3-6 months even if you paid more for a different brand. Costa products are no longer guaranteed like they used to be. I have broken several Costa products over the years and never did they refuse to make them better, at the time the glasses cost about 50% more than comparable RayBans. Costa only guarantees their products against workmanship errors if the prices are the same as those brands. Understandable, but not the deal Costa. I have had it since the 80's. Costa was a small company that was concerned with customer loyalty and would replace a broken lens no matter what. I've known people who had their glasses replaced when they were lost. They sent a friend a new pair of glasses to replace a pair he found in the river, after he told them he found them. They didn't care. They backed their product regardless. They were more expensive, but knowing they were backed by a company made the expense worthwhile. When their first customers became loyal, the Costa products they used were no longer back by the company. I will continue to use Costa products because there isn't a comparable product that I can find. I will be open minded where I was once of the opinion that Costa was the only brand I would buy. If another company introduces a lens that will last like the 580g lens does offshore, I will give them a try, that wasn't the case just a couple of years ago.
👤I ordered this pair of Costas to replace the ones that fell into the water. The frame is black and the sunglasses are blue. When the sun hit the sunglasses, they were see through and my pairs frames were dark navy. I have seen another reviewer who had the same issue as me, and they said it was pretty distractive being able to see that blue color. The 400 Glass lens was good, but they are not the best. Some reviewers have mentioned that. I was able to compare the Costas with the ones I lost, and there were a few concerns. The case that they came in was better than the one I bought from the store. The documentation was different and not as good as the original. I had enough doubt to return the item. I would not purchase this product if it was not protected by the Amazon guarantee.
👤I was bait and switched. They are not what I ordered. Costa Del Mar is what my order reads. Someone tried to cover the original label with a different one. There are photos below. The sticker on the right lense says 400 G, so if you would be happy with that then you should order them. If not to run. I have been very pleased with my purchases from Amazon. I am not sure who is to blame. I will return them today.
The coating is scratch resistant. The lens width is 64 millimeters. Bifocals eliminate glare from shiny surfaces such as chrome bumpers, car hoods, mirrors, and water. Men use bifocal sunglass readers for fishing. The fish can be seen beneath the surface of the water if you cut through glare. The bifocal area is priceless when it comes to tying knots. Money can't buy the best fishing and driving sunglasses. What are Boundaryes? There is a magnified area at the bottom 1/3 of the lens separated by a line. The top area has no magnification. Small objects are magnified when looking through a lens. Your vision is normal when you look straight ahead. The sunglass powers are: +2.50, +3.50, +3.50. If you have a x.25 power, you should round up to the next.25 power. If you need a +1.25, it would be best. Bifocal sport sunglass cheaters with 180 degree protection are needed to block UV rays, wind and debris from all angles. If the sun is behind you, the rays can bounce off the backside of the flat lens into your eyes. Bifocal readers in sunglasses have UV400 protection to block 100% UVA UVB and UVC rays. It's perfect for driving, fishing, cycling, tennis, and golf. The THERMOPLASTIC FRAMES W/ are made of Gallimide. Grilamid nylon is an extremely tough material that offers extreme stress and crack resistance, and is used in these sunglasses. The reader sunglasses for men and women are extremely heat resistant, so they won't melt, warp or get sticky under the sun. When you sweat, rubber nose pieces prevent slippage. Everyone will eventually wear bifocal sunglasses or magnifier sunglasses. Is it a good idea for every one to notice the bifocal lines? The injection molded reading area on the front of the lens makes it hard to feel the line on the magnified reading area. The front of the lens is almost invisible, like nothing is there. Men and women should look modern and clean with sunglasses.
👤They are the only sunglasses that I like and they are hard to find. Go one notch less for these. You won't wear these for reading. You can use them for things that are well lit and not require strong vision. The part with the bifocals is not divided. This is great because it allows you to read through glass or digital things. I am a truck driver. I have a spare on hand. They are good for driving.
👤I have been wearing sunglasses to look at directions. It's better to change glasses than to do this. I have never worn bifocals before and they feel very uncomfortable. When I look at the speedometer, the line between the lens seems to be in front of my eyes. I have to hold my head in a certain position when looking forward or backwards to see the road through the clear sunglass section. It's hard to focus on the gps without a lot of head bobbing. I am a new wearer of bifocals. When reading in the sun, it seems to work well.
👤This is my second pair. My first pair served me well. sunglasses on a motorcycle take a real beating from the wind The nose pads were shot. They were comfortable. The chip in my line of sight made me want to replace them. The chip could have been caused by something. I don't have to take reading glasses with me everywhere I go because these stay on even at high speed.
👤The sunglasses are stylish, have a great polarization, and are comfortable to wear. They get wrecked in a couple of weeks even with careful handling. When closed, the part that sits on your ear rubs against the plastic of the lens creating a scratched fuzzy spot. I carried these in a cloth case in my jacket pocket. The rub spots appeared and they were buff. This wouldn't be an issue if the sides were just a little longer. Design fail.
👤I bought these sunglasses because they are advertised as being anti-clockwise. The glare is a big problem for me. I have two issues that are personal to my eyes and head and I have to tilt my head back to use the readers and they are a bit tight on my head where they touch near my ears. I can make them feel better by moving them slightly. I am satisfied with them since they aren't custom and weren't fitted to my head.
👤This is my third pair of the same sunglasses and I love them. I'm happy that they didn't change the style or quality, it's a good thing. They are a priority for me because they eliminated many other choices. I don't have to remove my sunglasses in order to put on readers because the bifocal lens is barely visable. The frames are well made and durable, and I like that they cover the entire eye from sun glare. The only problem I had was that the plastic nose part was sticking on my nose, so I rubbed a small amount of olive oil on one side, and it softened the rubber for a perfect fit. I think this is worth the price and I am happy to have these, they are a great alternative to prescription sunglasses.
Their Original Stone Creek Line of Bifocals are available with a hard-shell carrying case to protect your Shades. The frame and lens are shatter resistant. Regular sunglasses on top with your choice of almost-in visible optical powers at the bottom. There is a large field of view. One size fits all. The dimensions are 2.75 in. The width is 1.5 in. The Temple is 5.25 in. The weight is 0.9 oz.
👤The sun readers do not distort your peripheral vision, they provide crisp sharp vision, and the bifocal allows me to read knots in small tackle with the clearest and finest fishing lines. They are perfect for fishing and boating. If your glasses get damaged on the boat, they don't cost you a ton of cash, and they are the best boating glasses I've ever owned. Like those Rayban and Oakley glasses with the tuna on them.
👤My first attempt at sunglasses. I need sun protection with bifocals at 55. I compared price and reviews and found these. I am glad I did. The reflective lens hides the bifocal and looks cool at the same time. I've worn these golfing, driving and working in the yard and had no issues. These will be my choice if I need a second pair. Would I buy again? Definitely. Would I recommend them to a friend? Most definitely.
👤I bought a pair of these glasses at a street fair a long time ago, but I don't know how long ago. The lens was black. I need to keep notes while outside in Florida and I need reading glasses so I can write while outdoors. My initial par is fine, except for a nasty scratch I put in a lens and hit my face into a partially open car door. I was happy to see that Amazon was selling them for a reasonable price, and that I could find another pair. I paid $35 for my initial pair, these at $25 were a no-brainer, I purchased a pair of the blue black frame model and loved it. I just bought 2 more pairs to keep them in reserve. I have been wearing the new pair for 2 weeks now and they have been problem free and seem to be exactly like my other pair I have for years so I think I found a winner here. Your results may vary because I am not hard on Sun glasses.
👤I was not paid for this review. I found these glasses after my eye doctor tried to sell me a pair of glasses for $372. I am in the Caribbean and they are on Amazon for $229. He said my eyes are damaged. I took a chance on buying these imitations for my husband, who loves his tortoise shell-style book, because he needed a different reader. My main purpose was for myself. I bought the grey/black ones even though I am a woman and they are men's sunglasses because of the price and value for money. I can read in the pairs that fit me, they fit each of us perfectly. My husband couldn't believe he could read. Each came with a case. I give these glasses the highest recommendation because I am very pleased with them and because they are the most reliable. They are comfortable and fit for purpose. If you want a different style of sunglasses, the "Maui Sun" Bifocals lightweight TR-90 Frames for Men and Women 100% UV are 50% off at 19.95 if you want a different style. I saved a lot of money.
The coating is scratch resistant. The lens width is 60 millimeters. The PU-MA proSPORT Bi focal sunglasses are made of Grilamid nylon, which is an extremely tough material that offers extreme stress and crack resistance. The reader glasses for men and women are extremely heat resistant, so they won't melt, warp or get sticky under the sun. Bifocals should stay on your head. The Z.87.1 is an American standard. Proper eye protection is important when buying sunglasses for men and women. The sunglass bifocal readers are made of impact resistant polycarbonate that is very scratch resistant. Have you tried to break a CD before? It can't be done. The CDs are made of plastic. When safety glasses are required, these magnification sunglasses can be used.
👤Let's start with the size. These glasses fit me perfectly. I have a small face and most glasses are too large, so I was happy they fit. I will talk about the durability. I am not sure if they would survive being sat on. The bifocal part takes a bit to get used to, but I am really grateful that I don't have to switch between sunglasses and readers constantly. Overall, happy with the purchase. The rubber part that goes over the ear is something I don't like. It messes with my hair. Men and women with short hair should not have a problem with this.
👤I needed the bifocals when I rode my motorcycle. I don't need lens correction, just regular sunglass. I need the bifocal to read and see my dash gages. The wrap around was exactly what I was looking for and I got two pleasant surprises. 1. Having had small debris hit my previous glasses in the past I feel I have the best protection for my eyes. 2. The shape of the lens does not cover from eye brow to cheek. There is a lot of space above my cheek to prevent fogging. The frame ear stems have a rubber tip to help keep them from sliding off of your head, and they fit my head and face well. These glasses are the right glasses and the only glasses I will purchase in the future. The price for these sunglasses is far less than they should be for the quality I have found in them.
👤I like that these glasses protect my eyes. They fit close to my face and keep the wind out of my eyes. I can see my computer while biking or my dash while driving, because the diopters are in a good spot. These glasses are very dark. The temple pieces that keep the glasses from sliding are my favorite. I have read reviews that say the frames broke. They seem to be sturdy to me. Time will tell.
👤The glasses met my expectations. The fit on me is perfect, the edges of the lens are close to the face, so that wind and bright light are kept out. The glasses have no tendency to slide down. The width was shown in one of the photos. These may not work if you have a large head. For full bright sunlight, the glasses are dark. The bifocal part of the lens is low so that it doesn't get in the way when you don't want it, but it may be lower than you would want for extended reading. The cloth pouch that comes with the glasses is a nice extra.
👤The regular sunglass lens is the problem, not the magnifiers. They are wavy and have areas of distortion. Is they cheaper than prescriptions? By hundreds of dollars. Will I be upset if I forget something? No. Do I wear them all the time? No. Will they do it in a pinch? Is it possible that I would buy them again? I would spend more to get better.

👤I dropped the glass and they snapped right away. I don't think this is my fault as I believe a quality pair of glass should be able to handle a little more wear and tear. Trying to get in touch with customer service. If this happens, will update review. For now, one star.
👤My husband uses these most of the time because he is a fishoholic. It helps to see through the water. They have a nice case and are stylish. Delivery was on time. It was definitely a good purchase.
👤I bought the glasses to wear while fishing. I decided to buy a cheaper pair. These glasses are not better than gas station glasses. For the amount I paid, I can't complain. These are not better than the cheap ones you can find in a drugstore or gas station.
👤My husband and I love fishing. I gave these to him because he loved them. He lost them on a fishing trip. I will definitely be ordering more. There is a We were a little tight on his head at first, but felt good for the price. It's hard to see in most bodies of water here in Arizona. Also cool case!
👤I use Costa's for fishing in salt water. I needed a spare pair of sunglasses while the bridge pad was being repaired. I have been with these twice. Between the sweat and salt spray, we have to clean our sunglasses 3 or 4 times a day. These glasses have a good wrap-around and let enough air in to not fog. The quality is good for the price. I will carry these for guests. Adding a flotation lanyard is my only recommendation.
👤3 months after purchase, the coating has begun to rub off on the cloth I use to clean. I really like these glasses, but I'm disappointed. The return window has closed. I wish this wouldn't have happened because the lens/polarized coating on my glasses didn't hold up during normal wear.
👤The husband loves them. He doesn't like wearing sunglasses but these are comfortable on his large face and fit nicely on his nose, he says most sunglasses don't fit on his nose. They look good on him, they would look even better if he could get a hair cut, but due to covid and no hairdressers he's sporting the overgrown hair with sunglasses. He looks good in them. He's going to look nice in these once he has his hair cut. We got a black lens. You can't read your phone if you have a screen protector on it. He hasn't been able to fish since fishing is currently banned so not sure how they work in the water.
👤I use sunglasses all day long and especially on weekends, and these glasses are my favorite. Costas and SA Company are both great. These are just as good and cheaper. I will definitely recommend them to other people because of the style and function, and the water is off the chain.
