This backpack is used for fishing tackle. It's also perfect for hiking, camping, shopping, sight-seeing, travel, and so on. Simple robbery. The box is great for kids and first-fime fishermen. Lift out tarp design. The kids' tackle and tool box has a lift-out tray with bulk storage space in the base. There is a sturdy construction. The box is made from plastic with a carrying handle and snap-tight latches. Since 1947, Flambeau Outdoors' tackle storage solutions have been trusted by America's anglers as the tackle systems that are BUILT TO FISH. It was built to last. SPECIFICATIONS: The box is 13 L x 6 W x 5.625 D. It was made in the U.S.A.
👤I need a way to keep my paints and tools organized. The two long compartments on top are perfect for brushes in one, and plastic cutting utensils in the other, and the bottom holds all the paint I could want. 10 out of 10. It's perfect for a hobbiest.
👤There were no holes for a handle. Really?
The box is 11" L x 7.25" W x 1.75" D. It is made in the U.S.A. Zero Rust Anti-Corrosion Technology is a tab infused with an exclusive VCI formula that releases a corrosive vapor, forming a protective layer on metal to stop rust in extreme marine environments. The defense is lasting disrepair. The Zerust formula is able to stop the oxidation of metals. It provides up to five years of protection to keep tackle rust free. Silicone O-ring gasket and three drawtite latches create a watertight seal to protect tackle, personal electronics or small valuables from exposure to water and air. Easy identification design. The translucent plastic lid and base of the Tuff Tainer make it easy to identify the contents inside. It was designed with the fisher in mind. It's easy to store for Stackable. SPECIFICATIONS: The Tuff Tainer fishing tackle box is 14 feet long and 8 feet wide. It is made in the U.S.A.
👤I need a large case to keep my phone in while I'm on the boat. This case is large enough for my wallet, car keys, and two phones. I put a thin foam backed cloth on the bottom of the case to protect the contents. The seals appear to be well made and are easy to unlatch. I think the case will do well based on the initial inspection of the case's construction and quality. Good value for money.
👤There are no dividers. You will end up with a big ball of tackle to untangle if you see the tackle all nice and neatly seperate. There is an update. The manufacturer sent me the dividers after I contacted them via email. Now that's the name of the game!
👤I never write a bad review, but I did say that every picture had a patented odorless divider. They are odorless because there were no people. It's hard to smell something that isn't in the product. Can't believe Amazon tricks customers like this. I don't have time to return the thing.
👤There is a model for $3 more that has dividers. There are 5 pieces of plastic. I rearranged the one with the dividers because I like the size for putting worm packages in. The Plano waterproof boxes are tighter than the latches. It's easier to open and close the boxes. They are used for kayak fishing.
👤I bought this to be able to keep a few gardening tools on my lower level, rather than having to bring them from the garage for just a few items. It is protecting my investment in my tools and serving its intended purpose. Would recommend to others.
👤Great storage container. It works great for storing larger items such as bungee cords, pliers, fishing line, but not for lures or hooks since there is no divider. It is waterproof and well made, but if you want to keep your lures organized, you should get the one with dividers. This one will work for all of your equipment.
👤We keep things in these sturdy waterproof containers that are on the short list of things we really want to survive the unnatural disasters that are becoming so much more frequent.
👤I need a waterproof container and I spent $20 on this item at the Dollar Store. It is not water proof.
It's perfect for the young fisherman. There are fixed compartments for storage. There are two cantilever trays with 14 to 25 Compartments. There are two top access storage areas. It's perfect for the young fisherman.
👤Being used for cleaning guns. It's useful because it has plenty of places to keep small tools for pistol cleaning. It's strong for its purpose. The tackler is made of plastic. If you need a carry case for gun cleaning equipment, I would recommend it.
👤I bought this box for my kids to keep their toys and accessories in one place. It can be used for many different sized toys in the different drawers. It's easy for my kids to open the boxes, and I haven't had an issue with them spilling or tipping over. I bought luggage locks to keep my older daughter's toys out of the little ones' hands. This has been great for the little figures that end up at the bottom of toy boxes and bins.
👤Didn't get to use it. I started to load up my tackle. The plastic peg broke. It was cheap when I first fanned open the trays. I know why it moved from side to side. The peg was no longer supported because it had bent on one of my trays. I'm sending it back and getting something else. I'm not sure if I want to replace the tray lifts with another one that could have the same issue, because I see that the design could be of concern in the future.
👤I own several tackle boxes that are better than others. I really like this one. It has three collapsible levels so that you can modify yours to fit your tackle and accessories. It is not a huge tackle box. Don't get excited. It is great for someone who fishes casually, a kid who is getting into fishing, or an adult who fishes alot and wants to keep separate tackle boxes for different types of excursions. It is small, but there is still plenty of room to fit what you need. Plano includes a paper insert with instructions on how to order a custom nameplate for only $2.50. It allows you to give your box a little more personality. It is definitely worth the money.
👤Can't beat the tackle box. I've had big ones and small ones. This is right for me. There are power bate bottles in the bottom. There is a small tray box for hooks and weights. There are shelf's for lures. And making fun of dodgers. You should put the top hatches for random hooks or dirty hooks until you can sort later. It's great for lake and river fishing. The solid latch won't come unlatched. And American made. The price is for 2 coffee stand coffees. I bought two of them. You can't go wrong with it. I bought a blue top model. It was perfect!
👤A good storage container. I bought 2 for the kids. If used a lot, it will eventually break, but you can't expect a life long tackle box for $11. If you're buying this for a fisherman, I would invest more money and get a better box. The wobbly side of the cant and lever effect is made of plastic. You don't want this box if you will use it a lot. You can change a few areas. Sand off any rough edges if the sm. areas are too small. I had to do this because one of the boxes held craft markers. The blue and purple colors are bright. Great purchase.
The perfect gift is the first tackle box that your child needs as a beginner, or the professional fishing gear they need. The tackle box is a great gift for someone who is an avid fisherman. The fishing pliers are made from a tough Teflon coating and have a sturdy and resistant capability. The bending strength of common aluminum split ring pliers is only 4%. The fishing tools have no signs of oxidation or rust. The jaws are coated with titanium. Take advantage of the crimping slots to secure a split shot weight or build a steel leader if you want to grab and remove a fish hook. Add fishing pliers to your gear. It's much easier to remove the hook. The best Tungsten Carbide cutter. The replaceable cutter is made from YG8 Tungsten Carbide, it slices through mono, fluorocarbon, or braid with ease. The fish hook removal can be used in both freshwater and saltwater. The non-slip handle is fitted with finger grooves for better control and comfort, and it also has a solid, confident grip even in wet conditions. A high quality spring loaded handle makes it easy to use by one hand and helps to reduce hand fatigue. The 8 inch fishing pliers saltwater is portable and easy to use, and features a coiled lanyard and custom molded sheath for quick access and easy reach while wading, surf fishing, or bank fishing. The back of the sheath has a belt clip that makes it safer to attach your belt or shorts to it. Special for Father's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving Day, and more.
👤These pliers are heavy duty. Please watch the video. I am getting rid of my current set in favor of these. I like multi-tool. There was less stuff in my tackle box. People can agree, right? This gives me a split ring hook, which eliminates one tool from my bag. They feel like they will last because you have the split ring. The belt buckle may break after being stretched to release from your belt. I usually keep it in my back pocket. May it be for you. Again, watch the video for a full review.
👤The fishing pliers are perfect for the price. I have had Rapala pliers for a long time. The back part of my Rapala is getting dull. I wear them every time I fish and end up cutting things, but they are on my side. The cutting blades are replaceable so these pliers will likely last longer. The case has great retention and the pliers just slide in, unlike my Rapala which gets weak with time. The case is held securely by the belt clip. A collapsing cord will keep them out of the water. When out of case, they remain open, so they don't have to hold a fish to get them open, just squeeze down and grab whatever they want. My Rapala pliers were a step up. Fishing pliers can be improved. Would buy again in a minute.
👤I have been using a set of pliers for a long time. The hook punch is something I like about them. Sometimes, I will buy a lure that has a hook hole filled in. The hemostat players have been great for that. They are flimsy and slide on hooks. I jumped at the chance to get some fishing pliers. They feel stronger. The coiled cable is connected to the pouch. The pouch slides into one of the straps if I'm fishing on my jet ski. I strap my kayak to the seat if I use it. I thought of trying to take both pliers with me, but I realized I had an old set of clippers that had a punch with it. I have the best of both worlds when I hook them through the included carabiner. If they had a hole punch, I would give them a five-star rating. I love them!
👤These pliers seem to work. They are resistant to saltwater. I clipped them to my belly while wading. They were submerged while fishing. I washed them off after I got home. They have no signs of pitting or corroding a week later. They work well. The hand is comfortable. There are hooks, crimping weights, cutting line, flouro and braid. They function as they should. They did not move around while in the sleeve. They were moving around quite a bit. They do a good job for me, even though they aren't as good as a high dollar set.
👤I would have spent less money on the pliers if I had read the reviews. My experience with pliers has been negative. The pliers won't hold steady any small braid, mono, or swivels. Contacted Plusinno for support. I can't perform as an elderly male with no cell phone photos ability. I explained the problem to no one. Prospective customers should be aware. After my initial feedback, I was contacted by the manufacturer and offered a full refund.
The best gifts for angers is a fishing set that contains all kinds of baits and accessories that can be used in a variety of fishing occasions, a great gift to any beginner or addictive angler. 👤Flambeau can be found at Walmart and Amazon. The first thing you need to know is that they don't have enough dividers for the number of slots. The next thing you need to know is that the dividers for the small tray don't fit the next size up tray. The customer service from Flambeau is notexistent. I called the company a few times, but never got a call back. I wanted to see if it was possible to order some more dividers for the trays that I had purchased. The tray is cheap and the slots can be adjusted with the existing dividers. The tray is sturdy and the latches work well. If I didn't need all the slots in the tray, I would buy again.
👤I used them for a gift. Along with some fishing gear. It is 12 inches in height. The dividers will accommodate your fishing tackle. Good purchase.
👤I ordered four of them because I had doubts but decided to try them out. I was amazed at how great these are. The lid is tight and the dividers seal nicely. The plastic also has anti rust qualities over time, so I used these to replace my typical three tray tackle box and switch to a backpack set up. I would buy more of them.
👤I got a slightly larger storage box and bought this at the same time. The basic idea is flat, rectangular, with some inserts to adjust the size of the compartments. The Flambeau didn't compare well to the generic one. The cheaper one has a gasket that runs all the way around the seal. Although I'm using them for heavy items, they are staying on my counter. If I had a box full of tackle that I needed on the go, I'm not sure I'd trust this box to keep things organized or dry. Does that sound like a three-star review? It's working for me, so I'll leave it at 4 stars. For now. I've been known to update my reviews.
👤I wanted to organize my fishing tackle into a box. Finding my gear is more difficult because of a bunch of random sizes. There is a These work well. The 11'' x 7.25'' x 1.75'' is only $3, 73 each. If you bought these boxes as fishing tackle, you would be spending more than the price. There is a Each box has 10 dividers. Love the size. It's perfect for a backpack. The plastic tabs are linked with strips. You have to cut them apart. Time consuming when you are doing 4 boxes at the same time. There are not enough tabs to divide the box. If you are like me, you would like to have each of your lures in a separate compartment, just hope that you have some large ones that take up 2 to 3 sections. It would be great if it came with one more strip of dividers. The build quality is great, the dividers fit well, lock into place securely, and give the case some extra rigidity, because they lock in place. These boxes are not like those that have a square channel for dividers, they are just like a dovetail joint. The case locks are plastic and have a good. Nothing to ever be spat on. I was very pleased with my purchase and will be ordering more. Happy fishing!
End the chaos! The perfect solution for keeping random household items separate, organized and easy to find is the plastic jewelry storage container case, which has 36 boxes, sturdy dividers that stay in place and deep compartments. Plano tackle storage has been protecting your passion since 1952. There are three trays with 22-34 compartments for versatile organization. There are two top-access storage areas for easy access to small items. The brass bailed latch is used for carry. It's perfect for the young fisherman.
👤Isi is a versatile tackle box that can hold a lot of stuff, it's a good thing that I used it for a different purpose. Look at the pictures and understand it better. It's small enough to fit under a sink but large enough to fit in an emergency room. It's very sturdy with thick plastic to protect what's inside.
👤I bought this for my grand-daughter who is new to fishing. The pink and purple colors look great together. Some pictures were posted to help people see it. There are two compartments on the top. A nice tackle box for a young person.
👤This is a portable art kit. I have all of my supplies at my fingertips. No more looking for paint colors or a pencil sharpener. I like that I was able to organize my supplies so that I could easily access them, and I love that it gets me excited to paint. It's the perfect size for taking around and I was able to fit everything, even my squeeze bottle for water. I had to trim my pencils to fit them in the middle tray. I use this for watercolor and gouache. Long brushes may not fit. The trays are made with dividers. We took out two of the dividers and put in a large compartment for colored pencils. It was easy to take apart and put it back together. The quality is good. The trays are built to hold lightweight flies and it's not as strong as a Caboodles. The arms are a bit wobbly from the load of paint on the top tray. I keep the top handle in a straight line while the box is open to provide more support for the top tray. The colors are so sick in person that they look 80s. rad!
👤I expect the tackle box to get a lot of miles out of the fish. The carry handle is sturdy and the outside latch is nice. The coloring is not dull and not overly bright. There are plenty of trays to place hard-baits and some space in the bottom for a plastic bag. I had room to add and shut the box with three stacks of worm bags and a 300 yard line and pliers. There are plenty of hard baits on the bottom and middle tray. It's easier to "fish" out if you keep loose terminal tackle on the top tray. I am very pleased and recommend. The leak test is yet to be done. I keep my tackle in dry storage in the rainy weather since I fish from a boat more than shore.
👤I'm not a fisher, so please stop showing me related products to fishing. The best way to transport miniatures, dice, and token is by a tackle box, according to another dungeon master. I have to agree after getting this piece. The top rows are easy to fit 25mm figures and 32mm figures. There is a large compartment at the base that could hold larger minis if needed. The dice fit in the top trays. The tackle box has two small compartments on top that are large enough to fit thin counter tops. It comes with a divider for the trays so that you can separate your minis if you please. It has a sturdy handle and a simple lock, so it's pretty safe to carry minis.
There is a large bulk storage area. The closed dimensions are L=20.14 inch x W-12.41 inch x H-12.23 inch. The drawers accordion up with an easy access lock. The drawers can be removed and replaced with Plano StowAway boxes. Includes divider. It's a great option to keep you organized. Three heavy-duty, brass-bailed latches. There is a large bulk storage area.
👤The box has a lot of room for your gear. I have enough room to spare, even though I fit close to $4000 worth of gear. The poor construction of this box is the issue I have with it. The drawers are very flimsy when opened, and if the box is slightly forward, you must open it perfectly for it not to tip. After opening and closing the box for the first time while fishing, the front handle snapped off and broke. Plano is getting a 1 star because it hasn't responded to my inquiry. Had the company followed up with me, I would have had 3 stars.
👤This is being used to store our paints and tools. Citadel, Army Painter, P3 and Game Color are used by us. The paint pots are upright in the bottom two trays. The tall bottles fit on their side in the middle rows. The tackle box has other brands in it. The bottom compartment is large enough to hold spray cans. The top tray has things like paint brushes, super glue, files, sharpies, and an exacto knife. The personal brush sets are in the two compartments. This thing is very roomy, and the ability to pull out the trays when it's open is perfect. Since the drawers slide out, most of the paints and tools are accessible. This model was the best for storing miniature paints and tools because we visited a lot of sporting goods and fishing stores in the Portland, OR area.
👤Good quality, not flimsy plastic. The reason I give it three stars is because it requires you to fill the bottom-most compartment with heavy items. This is probably not the product's fault, but I think they should make a design modification to make this stable and balanced. I use this to store different types and sizes of rivets for my leather work, and I cannot afford to spill my parts all over the place.
👤It has a lot of room. The tackle box tilts over backwards if the "stops" on the back-side are not in perfect position when the trays are opened. This is not a problem I have encountered on any of my large tackle boxes. If you aren't careful, it can create a mess very quickly.
👤The concept and storage capacity are great, but opening it up all the way to the bottom storage area is very difficult. The support posts inside the lid are small and wobbly and it is difficult to align them with the tiers and not tip one side with a little weight in it. I'm not happy with the quality.
👤I love that the drawers are changeable. If you want to open it up completely, you need something heavy in the bottom. My hair dryer is held up.
👤The plastic broke where the pivots attach to the box after a week. Its useless now. The drawers are stuck because the plastic dividers stick up 1/3 of an inch. The previous plano box had metal bars and rivets. I'm not happy with the new model.
The dimensions of the interior are 29.75 inches x 13.5 inches. A mobile tool box with wheels includes a traditional toolbox, a 2-drawer chest, and a deep bottom compartment that can hold all your essential tools and supplies while on the go. The tool box has two soft-rubber wheels that are 2 inches wide and 5.75-inch tall that can be used for off-site jobs. The tackle box is easy to roll for transport and quiet to use. The mechanic tool box has a fold-down handle with a comfort grip that is attached to the lower tool bin to maneuver it around the garage or a workshop. The handle is comfortable during use. The wheeled tool box is made of durable steel and polymer and can keep your tools safe and secure during travel or moving around rough construction sites. Extra security is provided by the lockable toolbox. The materials are Steel and Polymer. The dimensions are: (L) 20.5” x (W) 12” x (H) 28; top compartment: (L) 19.5” x (W) 8” x (H) 10; middle compartment: (L) 19.5” x (W) 7” x (H The materials are Steel and Polymer. The dimensions are: (L) 20.5” x (W) 12” x (H) 28; top compartment: (L) 19.5” x (W) 8” x (H) 10; middle compartment: (L) 19.5” x (W) 7” x (H
👤Some of the negative reviewers would like you to believe that this toolbox is better. I can tell that it is not flimsy. I haven't loaded it yet, but it's pretty thick plastic out of the box. Shouldn't be flimsy. For those who say it doesn't stack, it does. You should read the directions. There are four tabs on the bottom of the box. It locks into the top box when you close the bottom boxes. If you press down on the center of the clear plastic enclosure, the lid of the upper box opens easily. I would rather have a lid that is hard to open than a lid that stays closed. I bought this for a craft/art project box. The boxes are overpriced. I like to have a tackle box, a tool box and a craft box. Having used this for a few days now, I will likely buy another one for my automotive tools and car wash/wax supplies. There is enough room for my cleanings.
👤I'm going to use this tool organizers to organize my box of tools and home repair supplies. I like that it has a lot of space and is easy to store in my apartment. Between a few cheap components and an apparent rough ride via theUPS, my tool storage unit arrived looking a bit worse for wear. The bottom compartment's hinged opening appears to have broken off in transit, and a key component that would benefit from being made of metal is shown in the photos. Even with free returns, I will keep my storage unit because of the size and awkwardness of the packaging. An overall good looking product, but beware that you are taking a chance on its safe arrival.
👤A simple design flaw ruins a lot of the product's functions. If you need to ascend any steps, it's built well, but it's not meant to do that. The plastic step guard catches whenever you pull the box up the stairs, as well as damaging it. I have to lift the box up and over the stairs, which is a huge hassle. If this were fixed, the product would be 5 stars in my opinion. Unless I face the stairs, it holds and totes my tools perfectly.
👤I need to be mobile because I am a freelancer. I bought this for office supplies and it works great. It's not that sturdy, but you get what you pay for. It's great for what I need and not too heavy, which is exactly what I needed. I had to wheel it through snow and gravel on a job and one of the wheels broke. The customer service was great. I asked if there was a replacement part, but she said there wasn't and offered to give it away for free. I'm very pleased with how they handled this. I think it's a good product for what I need and at a good price.
👤The first time out, he cracked. I was careful with it, but it still happened. It is a Gorilla tape repair, so it may have been pre-cracked in shipping. Did contact the company. They made it right to my satisfaction and have great customer service.
SPECIFICATIONS: The Tuff Tainer fishing tackle box is 11 feet by 7 feet. There are zerust dividers. It is made in the U.S.A. The box design is TRUSTED. Easy access to securely organized tackle and tools is provided by the Iconic cantilever 2-tray design. There are 15 tackle compartments with 6 dividers. Base storage volume for bulk tool storage was increased. Features include a Draw Tite latch for secure closure, Tip-Guard tray support posts, and proprietary all-weather, oil-resistant resin construction. Since 1947, Flambeau Outdoors' tackle storage solutions have been trusted by America's anglers as the tackle systems that are BUILT TO FISH. It was built to last. Measures 13.75" L x8" W x 7.5" D.
👤I put a bunch of stuff into this tackle box, including three first aid kits. It held it all and could hold more. It's sturdy. The top shelf was a bit wide for me.
👤I use this for miniature model painting, not fishing, as you can see from my subpar photos. It keeps my tools and paints semi-organized and prevents me from flopping around in a bag. My grandad taught me to fish.
👤I like the features of this product. I needed to put together my family's first aid kit. That's what it's being said. It is made of cheaper plastic. The base and top are sturdy, but the hinges on the unit are not. The left hinge comes undone when I open the lid. It is becoming more annoying. I had a few items in the outer lid compartment that I wanted to remove so that the box wouldn't come undone. No chance. It is still undone. If you plan on using this for a fishing tackle box, I wouldn't recommend it. I still work for my family and I because we have the time and space in the bathroom to adjust the lid as we pop the hinge back into place. It would be very difficult to fish if you did it. I wouldn't recommend this as a tackle box for fishers. This is better suited for indoors.
👤I bought five for my grandsons. I put them in their Easter basket. I filled them with candy, gummy worms, gold fish crackers, and other goodies and they were going to go fishing in the future.
👤It broke immediately after use. The top compartment won't open. The main compartment is not lined up correctly. It was very disappointing.
👤I have been using this box for seven months. I use it for my TIG welder consumables. When I have as many as I do in this box, the parts are heavy. My box is over 10 lbs. It keeps the small pieces separated. I'm buying another one for more TIG parts, so I have my word that it's a great tackle box. I was expecting it to be cheap, but it's a quality box for storage or fishing tackle, and it's not. This box is perfect.
👤I bought this to keep my longarm tools and accessories on hand. All I needed was a cheap tool box. I didn't know how cheap this tacklebox really is. The top compartment in the lid has to be closed. I keep the feet and screwdriver for the feet in there so I need to access that occasionally. The hinges on the lid want to come undone so that the lid can close. I like how there is a tray inside. The small size of the lid and its latch is something to ponder over. This is a cheap tackle box.
👤The box is not bullet proof. The hinges are made of plastic and not metal. The box doesn't fold back as far as the previous version, which causes a tighter space to be found in the back of the compartments. It's a good value and will keep your items dry and organized in a lightweight box.
The Dry Fly Patch and Tippet holder dries flies in seconds. The tippet and bottle holder keeps your tippet close when you are fishing, as well as stores your floatants and a small snap for clipper or Pin-On-Reel. There is a foam patch for your flies. It was tested for resilience. Made using the highest quality components. Plano large 4-by rack system, Plano brochure, and nameplate order form are included. The spinnerbait box is not included. There are 3700 utility boxes. There are four 3700 boxes utility boxes. There is a limited lifetime warranty.
👤This is in my Star Wars X-Wing Miniature Game collection. I have every ship except for the IG-2000 and it fits everything, even though I keep a different Plano organizers. The expansions include the Rebel Transport and Tantive.
👤Worst experience ever! This was bought to go fishing. One of the four 3700 trays was empty. There were 3 trays with stuff in them. There are a lot of swim-baits. After grabbing the box out of my trunk, I walked toward the boat, but the 15 steps handle snapped off. The tray compartment door snapped off when the handle was secured. Unless you are fishing for trout. It's useless garbage because it's too bulky for trout fishing. They wont give me a coupon for a different product after I called customer service. Plano stinks. Never again!
👤I got rid of the four regular 3700 trays and replaced them with six of the 3700 THIN trays, now I have plenty of room for my lures! I had to remove the top lip and the bottom lip because they didn't put built-in lips for all 3 of the thicker trays inside the area where the trays are inserted. Plano has a secret that they refuse to tell anyone, even after asking Plano several times, and they still don't know what to do with the dividers in the trays permanently into place. I like it!
👤It's a little heavier than I expected. I don't think it's an issue for me, but if I were fishing it would probably stay in my truck and I'd load it up with a smaller box or vest. It works great for storing the game pieces for Star Wars: X-Wing 2.0, I am using it to do that. There is plenty of room for a lot of small ships and some large ships in the top compartment of the case. You might be able to fit one or two of those as well, but not sure about the huge ships. You need a sharp knife to cut the molded dividers apart and trim the tabs to fit into the storage trays. You only need to do it once. They fit inside the groves and won't pop out. The mechanism used to close the front door is not very good. The tabs for the panel will catch on when the chassy is closed, but it's just a couple of slots cut into the plastic. If the chassy flexes, the front panel will open, and you can drop the containers held there. I'm not worried about the containers popping open accidentally or when dropped because the clasps on those containers are solid. If you were walking with the case, you would have to pick them up. That's the reason for the loss of a star. I would give this 5 stars if they improved the way the front panel closes. I think I will get some strong Velcro to keep the front panel closed. All of the containers fell out when I pulled it from the box because the front panel opened. I had to fight with it to make sure the clasps closed properly when I put it away. The issue should be fixed.
The MOLLE attachment points are perfect for clippers, fish counter, etc. It was tested for resilience. Made using the highest quality components. The Plano dry box is included. The O-ring seal is water resistant.
👤It's easy to keep track of good quality and high visibility. I have a lot of fishing gear in my house. It could be used for a lot of things, from hunting gear to fishing gear. Dry storage can be exposed to the elements without damaging your gear.
👤This box matches the color of my main kayak so I bought it. It's perfect for holding a bunch of items I want close by while on the water, while protecting the contents from splashing and entry/exits. It's very handy to carry all sorts of stuff while not taking up a lot of room, and I use it to store my boat registration papers, emergency tools, and bug spray. The top compartment is not waterproof. It's still useful for things like a bottle opener, emergency whistle, and stuff that won't mind getting a little moist on it. It's the perfect emergency kit for boats and vehicles.
👤Water does get inside the box. When it rains, the box gets wet.
👤The product is nice but the lid should be lifted. The way it is, the room needs to be twice as big as a normal box to leave it open. Dry storage on a boat for flares and tools.
👤I wanted to keep safety gear on my boat. I trust the Plano reputation because it does what it's intended. Has held up well in the harsh saltwater environment and has occasionally been abused on the water.
👤This is for my gun cleaning needs. It's a little smaller than expected. I am very happy with this purchase. It is a little smaller than I needed. The larger one will be ordered in the future. I like the orange color in the morning and evening. Plano products have always been a delight for me. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for a field box.
👤My carry-all was purchased for my handgun accessories. The mini compartment is where I keep my cleaning accessories. There are things in the bottom of the tray and earmuffs. It is very sturdy and locked. What I was looking for. There is no fear that the handle will come off or that it will open at any time. I love the seal.
👤I put my equipment in the box. The right size.
👤The first delivery was missing the o-ring seal, so I had to get a replacement. I had heard that other reviewers had mentioned that it was missing. The problem was corrected quickly by Amazon. The Plano 1312 had the o-ring but the 18ah battery didn't fit in the box. The handle made the hight lower so the lid couldn't close. The Plano1612 is large enough to fit the battery, but the tray couldn't be used. I could have purchased a smaller battery with a lower rating so I could use the tray.
👤The bright orange color makes it easy to spot when your friend forgets it in the middle of the woods. The tray is nice, but I find it a bit cumbersome for me, so you can always remove it if you don't need it. If you're looking for a nice and secure mid sized storage case that's water resistance, this is what you want to get.
