👤It was a great bang for your buck. The waders look great. Nice thick material. They feel good. The boots have a thick sole and are heavy. I bought the waders for my husband, and he says they feel great. The men's 9 was bought by us. He wears a size 9.5 in street shoes and he thinks he would be able to wear a pair of thermal/wool socks. These fit him well because he is 5'9" and 170 lbs. I tried them on and they were good for anyone with long legs. We can just hang them outside to air out and they will smell like rubber. We haven't hunted yet. I will update once he has! Yesterday was 42 degree weather and hubby went duck hunting. His legs were completely submerged in the water. He said he was warm and cozy all day. I have already recommended Waders to others.

👤I have to change my review. When I bought them last fall, I loved them right out of the box. Between fall and winter, I had very little use. I want to go fishing in the spring. The problem is that the waders leak. I don't see any visible damage so it's hard to assume that it took some sort of physical damage to account for the water. The liner in the boots is unglued, which makes it hard to put on. I wanted these to be great waders, but it looks like I may have to find something better.

👤I haven't used them yet to see if they are water tight or durable. I like the design and fit, I am 5'7" and 150 lbs. I purchased a size 9 pair of socks because they fit perfectly and have plenty of room in the boot for multiple layers of socks. I used to buy size 10 waders that were loose and made me walk through mud quickly, but I found that they were too small to fit in my suitcase, so I used to buy size 8. The overall size of the 10 for waist and heigh was not ideal for my lean body shape. The lanyard that came with the case was great. I think it will be very useful when I am fishing in the water and need to take a video or picture and won't have to worry about dropping my phone or getting it all nasty. The MOLD was the only issue I had with this purchase. The straps that go over your shoulder and belt were completely covered in mold when you first got them. It was very upsetting. I hope the seller can explain the issue to me so that I don't have to deal with it anymore.

👤When I got them, they were hysterical. I was very disappointed to pull them out of the box and see that the straps were full of mold. The smell was overwhelming. I have to figure out how to get them back to Amazon. What a mess. I missed my fishing trip because I didn't order soon enough.

👤I had a gift card and was looking for some cheaper early season hunting gear. These fit the bill. I have been wearing them a lot. I have done three teal hunts in them and spent an entire day brushing a duck blind. The puppies are warm. I think I'll be comfortable in them at about 30 degrees. I leave hunts covered in sweat and you think you sprung a leak. The boot soles are comfortable and have held up on two mile long walks into the marsh when I couldn't carry extra clothes and change. The fleece lined hand warmer is great in the wind. shells do not fall out of the shell holder. The wader hanger allows for safe storage. The camo looks good. I entered the water for a duck hunt after only three hunts. There were two small holes near the seam. I contacted the company's customer service department due to faulty seams and was promised a partial refund, but it was not possible due to shipping limitations. It took some time but I received the money and felt the company was fair. I patched the hole with some aqua seal and got a second pair. I now have two pairs of waders. Please be aware of what you are getting with these waders.

👤First of all, the quality is incredible. I have watched my husband spend hundreds of dollars on waders. My son is 5'9" and weighs 178 lbs. He wears a size 10 boot. They fit him perfectly. He likes the straps that are not Velcro and the shell holder on the front was good placement. Our oldest son is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He said they were perfect fit and loved the quality. The insulation of 800 gram is perfect for fall. They had an extra strap. I would highly recommend this product.

👤There is a pond and ducks on our property. As water levels dropped, the ducks laid their eggs along the shore and on small sandbars. Needed something warm and waterproof to collect our precious orbs, these fit the bill at a very reasonable price. If I wear double thick socks, the size 12 turned out to be just the right fit for me. I'll be repairing and floating a duck house soon, these will be on heavy duty, hopefully they will hold up well.

👤I ordered these 4 days before opening day and got them 2 days later. Order to size them because they fit perfectly. They kept me warm while I was in and out of the water. They were easy to wear all day. Would recommend anyone. I will buy another pair if there is any chance of these happening. No questions were asked.

👤I bought a couple of these. One for me and one for my son. So far, so good. No tears or leaks. We walk through brush and thorns to hunt. You will not regret it if you try these before you buy an expensive brand.

3. TIDEWE Realtree Waterproof Bootfoot Removable

TIDEWE Realtree Waterproof Bootfoot Removable

Carefully select the right size before making your purchase. If your feet are wide or you plan to wear thick socks with your boots, please choose a larger size. Sturdy and Durable4.0mm neoprene upper with a tough shell and stretch liner and triple-finished seams that are stitched, glue and taped, making it extra solid and durable, you will always have peace of mind that your waders will perform while out in the waters and woods hunting The TideWe waders feature armor welded double-stitched and sealed seams, and all of these high-end features offer extra protection and ensure there is no leaking. The anti-slip sole on TideWe lightweight PVC boots offers the most traction on muddy or slippery surfaces. The boots are easy to take off with the help of the back of the boot's heel. Breathable lining inside will make you feel more comfortable. Their boots keep you strong all day long, without sacrificing comfort. The chest waders have nylon elastic suspenders that are easy to use. The belt that holds the 12 shells is easily accessible for quick reloading. Extra wear resistance is provided by the reinforced double layer knees. The inner pocket is a great place to keep gear organized.

Brand: Tidewe

👤I bought these for a salmon fishing trip. 3 days of very hard wear and tear, falls, and miles of walking. I fished all day in 45 degree weather with cold water, and have moved on to duck hunting. The quality and comfort were very good. The chest length was long for my weight and shoe size as I'm 5'9" 155 lbs. The included belt helped with this.

👤They are too long for me, I am a woman wearing a men's design wader. I went duck hunting from a kayak with my friend. When we went to Florida early in the year, it was not a problem for me because the material kept me very warm. I thought I had gotten some water in the waders when we returned to shore. It was just a little sweat when I peeled them off. I tested them out in about 2 feet of water by kneeling on the ground, but no water entered my stomach. They were great for the price and the purpose I used them for. I plan to use them again.

👤I was surprised by the quality of this. My son wanted this for Christmas to hunt and fish with his friend. I did some research. The cheaper ones were made of cheaper material and the more expensive ones didn't seem to have much more than these. They are baggy on my son. He wears a shoe size 10 but because it's all one piece, the bigger the shoe, the bigger the wader. He's 12 years old and is probably 120 or so lbs. We are rigging them tighter with the strap to hang them up.

👤The size of the waders is terrible. I am average at 175 lbs and they look like they are built for a 250 lbs gorilla. If you live in the north, I don't think buying size 11 is a big deal because I like wearing a thinner socks and it doesn't get that cold there. I have had other waders in the past from the major outdoor retailers, and these are the worst. They stink out of the package. I don't recommend buying these, spending the extra money and buying a brand name wader.

👤My son is in a size 10 boot but doesn't fit in the right height for the waders. The straps have to be cinched so they don't fall off even when fully tightened. He is 5'4-5'5. He wore once and stayed warm, but didn't get too deep in the water. I noticed areas where the stitches were pulled through the fabric when I inspected the boot hangers. I pray they don't leak as he only used them a single time.

👤Each time one of the boots was returned, the liner was bunched up in the mold of the boot, which was poor manufacturing. It was painful to stand in them for more than 10 minutes. I was excited to get these but I was let down by this issue. The wife put them on to make sure it wasn't just me. Look for a different product that won't make you frustrated.

4. COMPASS Deadfall Breathable Chest X Large

COMPASS Deadfall Breathable Chest X Large

The design is made from a premium, highly water resistant fabric. The fabric, seam tape, and Durable Water Resistance (DWR) coating make this wader one of the best in the business. Made with double taped, 4mm 100% neoprene, it provides warmth, protection, and comfort for your feet. Gravel guards with lace hooks are designed to keep rocks and debris out of your shoes. Extras include a front chest pocket. There is a storage pocket inside the wader. There is a wading belt with a quick release buckle. There is a chest drawcord and elastic suspenders. If possible, let your wader dry completely between uses. The wader should be washed with cold soapy water. Don't put your wader in the dryer. If you want to store your waders in a dry place, hang them from the feet. For one year, the products from the date of purchase are covered against manufacturer's defects. It is not responsible for normal wear and tear, commercial use, accidents, abuse, modification, misuse, or improper care.

Brand: Compass 360

👤Two pairs in two years. It was great for the money. The corners are cut. The logo used to be sharp, but now it's just a cheap press on a flat name piece. They started with a bang, started selling, and are now cutting corners to maximize profits. Every company in the USA. I should have bought 3 or 4 pairs before the cost cutting started. I would rate them as good for a year of moderate use. The crotch and boot seams are leaking, and the first pair lasted 2.5 moderate. The fabric never got a hole. At the usual stress points, seams are failing universally. I wouldn't say they are bad, just average. You should bring a backup pair. The rest in the $100 range was the same. The first pair was special. Oh well. It was a good fit. I wouldn't recommend a pair above them in the price range. All the time, I tried them. They get greedy when they make a good wader and then they get dumped. There is a tired old story. They are thicker than Orvis. The Bass Pros version. The fabric is a bit stronger. That seam failure is a big deal. Eventually, all of them do. I am sad to see this brand decline.

👤My wife ordered these for me because I am Doug, a 6 ft tall, 215 lbs. I wear a shoe. The large fit perfectly. I love fishing in them. I wear sweat pants and stay warm. I recommend these with a good pair of wading boots.

👤I felt obligated to write a review for anyone else who was buying this product. I am not sure if the problems I encountered are normal, but the chest pocket started filling quickly when I first used them, and I went into the water just above my waist. The pass through pocket is not connected to the other pocket. The pocket kept the water in and the water was slowly leaking out of the pocket, making things worse. It was difficult to get out of the pass through pocket even after taking the waders off. It was a pain. I had boxes of lures and flies in my pocket and other things in my pocket, but they were all water-logged. The front pouch's type of zip is similar to a water tight zip. You should believe that the pouch/pocket is water proof or at least doesn't fill up with water you have to carry around with you, because you used "chest waders" in barely above your waist deep water.

👤I've used these for the past three seasons, walking back and forth to the water, over fallen trees, and over big rocks in the water. I get out a couple times a week in the spring and early summer, but I'm not walking through a heavy forest for miles. It's easy to put on and take off. I sat in the half-full bath tub after putting them on for the pre-season test. Still waterproof! I hope the next pair is the same quality.

5. FISHINGSIR Bootfoot Waterproof Insulated Breathable

FISHINGSIR Keep Dry Chest Waders were designed to keep dry and warm.

Brand: Fishingsir

👤I'm a PhD student in biology. I stepped into an illegal beaver trap while wearing these waders. The trap got through the middle of my foot. My foot did not break even though the boot broke. The EMTs had to cut my boot off so the waders wouldn't survive. The waders kept me dry through the high swamp water. The waterproof phone case that came with the waders allowed me to have my phone on me when I was out of town. I am a 5'5" female with 135 lbs and ordered a size 6 that fit as well as I could hope for. I will definitely be ordering another pair for my next season even though I'm out for the rest of the field season. Don't wade alone and stay safe out there. I would definitely recommend it.

👤I got these for a place where people ride four wheelers and get muddy and dirty. I didn't want to get a neoprene one. These fit perfectly. I weighed 160 lbs and had a foot size of 6-7. I got the men and women. They fit me perfectly. They did a great job all day. It came with a phone pouch and patching glue. These are a good investment. I liked these better than my academy waders. I was able to stay cool. I wore a lot of layers for riding around in 40 degree weather. These boots were thin and durable. I am happy. Everyone was asking where I got them. I told them here. You have a loyal customer. I have gotten these no problem. Still going strong. There were no tears or rips.

👤Why did I purchase this? I can go fishing with my husband. I'm serious. So. I had to return a pair of waders I bought because they were too tall. There is no issue with quality. I ordered the full wader "suit" because I thought I would need to return it as well. Nope! I'm 5'1", 175 pounds, 12-14 pant, 16-18 shirt, and I'm a person. These are the waders that fit me. I ordered the size 6 because I wear a 7 1/2 shoe. I have not had the chance to use them yet, but I was thrilled that they fit. The quality is decent for the price. Compared to waders purchased from sporting goods stores. I will update if there is an issue after wearing. It is a little heavy and it isn't that comfortable, so I gave it a 4 and not a 5 stars. There is an update! I wore them all day. We fished for 8 hours in Lake Isabella. I was completely dry. I recommend it very highly because I got used to it. Be sure to wear "booties". I felt every single rock on my feet. There were no holes in the suit. My husband wants one now. I'm going to order it soon.

👤The first time these boots were used for fishing, they leaked. They leaked the first time they were worn, and worse than the first pair. I don't want to patch boots that are new. Returned for the money. Will not purchase again. Going to go with a well known brand.

6. TRIPLE TREE Hunting Waterproof Bootfoot

If you need to wear Thick Socks, please choose one size larger than usual.

Brand: Triple Tree

👤Excellent waders. They are doing a good job of cleaning out my pond. They are hot but no leaks, that is to be expected.

👤Wow! I bought them for my father and brother. They are farmers, they cross rivers and usefertilizer. They like the quality of it and they don't get wet anymore. They said it is very comfortable. They have been using them for several months and have no issues. I will definitely recommend it.

👤It was great for what I paid for them.

👤The boot are better than I thought. Excellent forwade fishing.

7. Frogg Toggs Steelheader Reinforced Breathable

Frogg Toggs Steelheader Reinforced Breathable

120 gram zip-in/ zip-out insulated liner. The knee and seat have fabric reinforcement. A storage pocket. There are 2 diagonal-ZIP storage pockets and fleece-lined handwarmer pockets. 1,200-gram boot.

Brand: Frogg Toggs

👤I finally found a pair that fit. I normally don't write reviews, but these waders deserved it. Being 5'8" and tipping the scales at 260 lbs. It doesn't make sense to be able to wear a standard size waders. I wear a size 9 shoe/boot, 42x30" pants, and 3XL shirt. Having a 52" chest and a 54" belly doesn't help when looking for waders that fit, but these size 10 waders gave me a 56" chest that is just right. Along with the 40" max inseam, these waders give me some room inside, and allow me to sit and crouch without being restricted. It's even better without the liner. This is a well made all-season wader that I hope to wear for many years while fishing in the streams and ocean. Thanks Frogg Toggs for giving these waders in this size.

👤I ordered this item twice before and it was sent the wrong size, but I used it again and there was a leak.

👤The best pair of waders I have ever purchased are the Steelheader Boot ones from Cabelas. I convince 5 of my fellow fishermen to buy them and they're just as satisfied with them as I am.

👤The Mediocre waders are waders. If you plan on walking, the boots are not the best fit. The pockets are hard to use. I wanted a better product for the price and reputation of the brand.

👤Hubs is big. It is all good.

👤I went up a size on the boot and it would have been fine. I'm going to use these in December. They are great in the warm weather.

👤I have about 10 days on the river. They seem well made and should last. I was going to put studs on the soles, but they don't need them.

👤The absolute best! The thermal lining is easy to remove.

👤What a surprise. Excellent quality. It was what I wanted.

8. Frogg Toggs Hellbender Breathable Bootfoot

Frogg Toggs Hellbender Breathable Bootfoot

The knees are reinforced. The chest pocket is oversized. There are pockets in the handwarmer/storage pockets. There is a horizontal storage pocket.

Brand: Frogg Toggs

👤For 5 months, I wore these felt sole boot waders while fly fishing in Idaho. There is plenty of room in the knees and butt for warm weather comfort. These beat the Cabela's product, which is no longer available, even though it is the same product. After reading the reviews, I bought a 9. It works with heavy socks. The felt sole of the Cabela's waders could not be repaired because it would start to come apart within 6 months. The soles on these are a different type of felt and have no signs of coming loose after a while. A superior product and highly recommended. I've been fly fishing for a long time and have worn out more than I could count. These are worth the time and money. Jim R. is from Eagle Idaho.

👤The waders are not stocking foot, they are a boot attached. You don't buy your own wading boots. I'm 140 lbs. My shoe size is small. I ordered size 8 because it fit my feet well and gave me more space to keep warm. I'm very thin and my legs get a lot wider as they move up, so they are baggy. I haven't tested out fishing yet, but will do so in the future. They were tested in a local pond. No holes were found. The material is lightweight. There are pockets on the chest. There is a plastic attachment on the right side of the strap that you can use to attach clips to. They were on Amazon at the time I purchased them.

👤I love the ease of slipping into the Boot Foot waders. The feet size is what determines the size of the waders. I wear a size 13 shoe. I'm 195 lbs. The waders are large enough to fit someone that weighs 300 lbs. They think anyone with bigger feet is a fat man because of the extra fabric.

👤I bought these as a gift. It went well. Since I bought these, they have been fishing almost every weekend. I gave these to a photographer that loves to fish and now he is getting pictures that no one else gets. The amount of lures that were procured from the land fishermen who lost their lures in the downed trees and branches on the first day was worth more than the waders that were purchased. There were no tears or holes in the box. Even though they were big, they worked perfectly.

👤The boots are not heavy to carry. Nice features include a dry pocket and gear pocket. Buckles for suspenders and belt are plastic. I can see that being a problem down the road. Good construction and fit were other than that. My shoe size is 9 1/2, so I would recommend this product to everyone. I got the 10's and added some insoles. It's a great fit and even more comfortable.

👤I got a lemmon as this wader leaked the first time I fished trout, but I bought this product for my fishing neighbor recommendation. I can't return it anymore because it pasted returning window. I have a hip high wader that is very good for a couple of years and I trusted this brand so much. I never thought it would leak the first time, I thought it was a good brand, but the price was high. Do not wait until it is past the window to try it, trust nobody, give a try after you get it.

9. Frogg Toggs Neoprene Bootfoot Outsole

Frogg Toggs Neoprene Bootfoot Outsole

A high-back design for wading. There is a hook and loop attachment. The boots have a felt outsole.

Brand: Frogg Toggs

👤I followed the instructions and ordered a size 11. The body of the wader was made for someone who was about 6'4". I weigh 170 and am 5' 11". There was so much material in the chest and knees that it was difficult to walk. The quality of the wader was very good, so it was a 3 star and not a 1 star. I will get a size 10 when I return them. The sizes are only for shoes and do not take into account the body attached to the feet. The boot will not be too small and the body will fit. There is an update. I bought a size 10. The boot was too big and the body too large. The boot and body fit pretty good after I ordered a size 9. The boot size is off by two sizes.

👤I purchased these exact waders 3 seasons ago and this season developed a large leak, which was ok for 3 years old waders that get used a lot, as I live at the shore and between fishing and boating they get a work out most of the year. I get the exact same ones, thinking I really liked my last pair. After I got them, I went to the bay to do some work, but when I got out, the water was coming from the butt area, so I used my socks one more time and now feel a bit damp. I contacted Frogg Toggs after being pointed towards them by Amazon, but haven't heard back since...a replacement would be nice. I understand that these things can happen if you consider these waders. I would appreciate it if you acknowledged my concern and email.

👤I noticed that there was some concern about the length of the inseam in the reviews. I wear a size 11 in running shoes and have a narrow foot so my shoe size is an 11. I ordered the size 10. The boot is snug and long, but they provide good coverage for deep water, unlike the other size 10s I have owned. To get water over the top of these, you'll have to have your chin in the water. I'll be testing them for their longevity soon, but they seem rather comfortable for the price. They are on sale for $45. I am 6' 0" and weigh 200 lbs.

👤I use the Frogg Toggs Amphib Neoprene Bootfoot for pond maintenance. These are large and have plenty of room to maneuver. I have been looking for a product that would work for my pond hobby. This product is very good. I have a size 11 men's shoe and purchased a size 11 Frogg Toggs bootfoot waders, which fit perfectly to allow me enough room to get the waders on and off. The extra space in the boot allows you to wear heavy socks to keep your feet warm in the cold water of the pond or stream. Frogg Toggs is a real fan of your products.

10. Frogg Toggs Anura Technical Wading

Frogg Toggs Anura Technical Wading

The 900D Cordura is made of leather. There is a rubber toe protection. There is a molded midsole. There is stitching on the outsole.

Brand: Frogg Toggs

👤To everyone on the fence. Frog toggs has been in the fishing business for a long time. The other brands demand the top shelves in the shops. The boots are a good buy. I have used these boots in warm, cold water fresh and salt and hiked in them and I am very happy with them. Most boots will ask you to size up. If you have an in-between size, I would buy it. I got a 12 because I am an 11.25 witch. I still have a little wiggle room. Hope this helps.

👤These are my first pair of wading boots and they work well. The fit is perfect, I just ordered my normal foot size and there is plenty of room for the neoprene booties on my waders. The sole is well made and has stitching on it. I have been wearing these in the water for three days and they are comfortable. Couldn't be happier with the price so far.

👤These boots have flaws. First of all, they are large. I'm a size 9.5. I replaced the size boot that I ordered. They are a bigger size. They are large and have a thick sole. I am considering sending them back because I haven't gotten them in the creek. They are still loose after I tried them on with heavy socks. I wouldn't recommend them for walking in the creek.

👤I got my boots today. I ordered a size 11 and they fit perfectly. I was worried they wouldn't fit with my waders and I didn't want to wear socks in my waders, but I was able to wear socks in my waders and still have room. Very happy. I'll update when I get back.

👤I wish it was made here, in the headline. I miss something. I don't always see where a product is made. Sometimes the product is not made in the US but in another country, and I think the product is made in the USA, but when I receive it I find it was made overseas. The Frogg Toggs Anura II Technical Wading Shoe is well built and worth the money, I wore them 3 times in streams and they worked well.

👤I've probably used them 10 times on sharp rocks, round rocks, slimy rocks, all rocks, and the mile or two walk to and from the car. They are secure and have held up well. The same size as the shoes you wear is what other manufacturers recommend.

👤It was purchased for my fly fishing trip. They did well on the slippery rocks, but had times when the traction wasn't quite there. It was drained and dried quickly.

👤The price drops when you watch an item. The package is not factory and the item is not new. The wading shoes seem to be good quality. I ordered my normal shoe size and it fit.

👤They seem well made. There were no complaints. I suggest you buy that size boot. They are large enough to fit in your waders.

Every pair of the waders is tested for maximum performance and designed to protect itself from water in the sea, in lakes, rivers, marshes, and more.

Brand: Bassdash

👤100% transparency. These are the real things. I own 4 chest waders and have owned many in the past. The most heavy duty waders I have tried are by far these. Even though they are small, they don't feel bulky. I try to take care of my gear, but I have a lot of it and I am confident it will last through the long haul. I will cut the boots out and wear them as rain bibs with waterproof boots underneath, because I feel they will wear out long before the actual waders. I really want to rate them at 5 stars, but I can't because of 2 reasons. The boots could use a little insulation, with the waders being so HD they will naturally be a touch warmer. Reason 2. People like me are not comfortable with the size. I wear a size 10 shoe. I need a large to fit their chart, but it's not what I received. There would be plenty of room in these if I were a big beer gut and stood 6'3". Adult sized feet are still needed for the size. It's important to pay attention to the foot size, and know at least the Large size. It's still worth the investment. My friends will be suggested by me.

👤I read reviews about the Large Long Feet and ordered them. I am 6'2” and weigh 220, I have an 11 1/2 shoe size. The biggest shoe size for a large is the LLF10-11, which is why I got it. My feet are tight and the waders are large. They are a little baggy but usable. The LLF would fit a man with a big frame. The shoe size is a match to their descriptions, but the waders are 2 sizes above what is listed. The large is too big for me and a medium would be better. I would fit a Medium Long Feet 11 but they don't offer it. There is a chart that shows a Large Long Feet but it is not in the options to purchase. If you are reading, you need to adjust your size and offer larger shoe sizes for most people. I was expecting a lighter material, but the waders are heavier than I expected. I was hoping for a lighter material because that can be good for long term use. I already have a pair of waders for fishing. I'm not sure if I should return them. If you are lucky enough to fit their size, these are good quality waders, but they don't have the correct size for me and most people.

👤Lack of boot sizes leads to bad fit and excessive material. I had to order a size that I could swim in to get a boot that fit me. I ordered a size 12 boot and it is closer to 13 The boot openings are narrow and I had to put my sweats in my socks to keep them from getting above the boot. I am an average sized guy, 6 foot, 200 lbs, 46 inch chest, 34 inch waist, 32 inch inseam, and size 12 shoe. I had to fold the excess material over when I was swimming inside the waders because I had to pull them to my back. The waders appeared to be made of quality materials and looked good, with solid seams, good tread on the boots, and waterproof pockets. The mesh interior helped prevent them from sticking to you. I was expecting a better fit for the price. I will be looking for a more form fitting option after returning them.
