Brand: Driftsun

👤The kayak is nice. It's made of 1000d polyester which is strong. It's easy to set up. It takes 10 minutes to put it in the water. The seat is the same as the one I purchased for my other kayak. I've been using my own, but it's not a fan of the paddle coming apart in 4 sections. The tote is large. I have a K-100 pump, a dry bag, and a waterproof box and they all fit. I don't use the foot rest that comes with the velcro. The kayak is only 8 1/2 feet long. Adding a little weight to the front cuts down on the wobble. It's easy to see when the sides and floor are full because the pump has a gage. The pump is a two way pump. Up and down. The only reason I gave this a 4 is the fin. It's difficult to get in or out. It's difficult to hold the kayak out of the water with one hand because you have to squeeze it together to remove the clip. I don't like having to drag my kayak out of the water. The plate on the bottom of the inflatable that holds the skeg isn't flat like my other inflatable, so even after removing the fin and taking it out of the water it got scratched up. It's not easy to slide the skeg in. The best of both worlds is that this one comes with self-bailing holes for white water but you can close them for flat water. The caps for the self bailing holes are attached so you don't have to worry about losing them. The smaller size would be great for kids or adults. I'm not sure how someone 6' or over would do. It's perfect for me because I'm 5'3 These are easy to throw in the car and take off. I can load, unload, and set up all by myself, which is more convenient than having a hard-shell. It's a disadvantage to lay out inflatables to dry before storing them. They can get a disease if they don't. This one is lightweight. The seat weighs under 25 pounds. I usually get this set up in the campground and then take it to the lake. The higher end air valves like the ones on my kayak are on these. This isn't a pool toy. If you want something that is easy to use, or if you have limited space, then you should get an inflatable. You won't be disappointed. If you have questions about this kayak, I'd be happy to answer them.

👤The kayak is wonderful. It is made of heavy duty material. You can stand up in the bottom. It was easy to get out. I was very impressed. I decided to get an inflatable kayak because I couldn't bring myself to buy one because of storage and transportation. I am not disappointed. The seats are easy to change, you can put them anywhere you want. It is easy to convert from two to one seat. It is easy to inflate and deflate. The instructions are very specific and easy to understand.

2. Intex 68309EP Excursion Pro Kayak

Intex 68309EP Excursion Pro Kayak

Brand: Intex

👤I bought the intex Explorer and Excursion Pro at the same time. I think the Excursion Pro is worth the extra money. The Excursion is made of a heavier ruberized textile than the Explorer. I'm confident that either kayak will serve you well for occasional recreation. The Excursion is better for long termDurability and Impression of fit and finish. I have never owned a kayak. I've paddled a few. I've traveled hundreds of miles in a canoe. Both kayaks respond quickly to paddling. If you're going to use the Excursion Pro for fishing, you should note one thing. The rod holders are pointing in a different direction. If you put a rod in one of the rod holders, it will cross. The rod holders are useless for fishing or transport. I added a couple of rod holders to solve the problem. They work great with the included accesory rail. I'm not a fan of the paddle because of my canoe experience. I'll probably switch to a canoe paddle or try a longer kayak paddle. Everything else is better than expected. The seatinging in both kayaks can be set up for one or two people. The seats are comfortable. The foot rests work well. The pump nozzle and pressure gauge lock into the valves, which is a feature that is not found on the explorer. I'll be ordering the Excursion pro seat pad if intex will sell me one, it's a must have in my opinion. I'm very pleased with both. If you can afford it, buy the Excursion Pro. The kayak looks like a much higher end kayak than the explorer. If you have a tight budget, both kayaks will put a smile on your face and paddle well. I added a fish finder to the plano 1364 tackle box. There is plenty of room for the battery in the tackle box. I used a piece of aluminum stock and a few nuts to fix the transducer. The thing is a fishing machine. If you don't buy an anchor, you're going to wish you did.

👤The kayak had two issues. The gauge had a broken needle and one seat wouldn't hold air. The company told me the parts were not under warranty. I packed it up and sent it back after I had it for a week. The representative was rude and didn't have any options to fix or replace the kayak.

👤At Christmas, I got this KAYAK, but it is now un-repairable. No one is going to offer a replacement or guarantee. Everyone is watching us when we contact them. Customer service is TERRIBLEKAYAK - not worth the money.

👤The kayak has a lot of scratches and scratches on it, but it's not leaking air yet. All items in the box were previously opened and taped back. This is not a new item. I would not order it at the full price of the new one if I knew it was opened/re-packs.

👤The inner polyester core is exposed by the major crinkles and cuts out of the box. The pictures are from two Kayaks, the first was good and the second was bad. It is unacceptable that at almost 500$ per Kayak. I lost my time trying to get Intex to wash it off. I bought a 2 year protection plan as I want to have fun with my wife and kids and not deal with claims all summer. You need to purchase your glue if you come with a 90 day warranty and patches.

3. Aquaglide Deschutes 110 Inflatable Kayak

Aquaglide Deschutes 110 Inflatable Kayak

AQUAGLIDE: Their passion for water sports drives them to engineer some of the best boating technologies available so you get the performance you want combined with the hassle-free portability you need.

Brand: Aquaglide

👤I have other high end inflatables that are more expensive. I got this for a quick setup. I can handle it by myself and it handles well. You would expect great quality from Aquaglide, all the d-rings, tie downs, and other whistles and bells. I am very happy. Several of my other paddling group members may end up with one of these. The footrest is fixed to the floor. It was too far away for me. I bought a foam roller for the footrest after popping it off. I can fold it down smaller without the footrest. Five other ladies in my paddling group have purchased the same kayak that I bought. They love it. A small kayak. Love it.

👤The Challenger Intex inflatable kayak was cheap and easy to use. I realized what I had been missing after using a friend's inflatable kayak. I couldn't find them online. I took a chance on this kayak. I like it. It's light and easy to pack around. It's very easy to inflate. I used it once for a long river float. I bought a pump to remove excess water from the raft as I navigate rapids. The seat was more comfortable than the Tributary Strike raft and I thought it was a good fit for me and my activity level, which is primarily paddling on Class A and Class 1 water. I hope this helps readers. I've read reviews about inflating the raft, but I didn't find it hard to understand inflation. I will report back later on longevity.

👤I have owned this kayak for a few weeks and have taken it out many times. I have used it at several beach's in Southern California. It is light weight, takes only minutes to setup, and dries quickly. I'm 5'11 and weigh225 lbs, and I have never felt like it was going to sink or tip over. The open design of the kayak gives it plenty of room. The seat is comfortable. Tracking is not the best. The boat sways a bit in the front for the first few paddles, but after a few paddles the tracking improves. I put my cooler bag in the front to help with tracking. It glides on the water. The kayak handled great in windy and choppy conditions. I was initially concerned about not having a drop stitch floor, but once on the water the floor feels solid. The boat will drift in the wind. It can be difficult to put the kayak back in its bag. I am happy with this kayak, it serves my needs perfectly.

👤The light weight is a plus and this is my favorite inflatable kayak. The set up and down is very easy. This kayak is going to be fun this summer.

👤I like that I can carry my kayak in the bag myself, inflate it, and carry it to the water. It is very easy to paddle. There is a storage area for my dry bag. It is thick and substantial. It folds up quickly and goes back in the bag. I couldn't do it on my own. This is perfect!

4. Intex Excursion Pro K1 Kayak

Intex Excursion Pro K1 Kayak

There is a package with 2 X paddle leash. Light weight and highly resistant to damage from impact and sunlight are the qualities of the super tough. There are two things: Irrigation and Stable. High pressure inflation provides extra rigidity and stability, with high pressure spring loaded valves for easy inflation and fast deflation. Everything you need is included: paddle, hi-output air pump, carry bag, inflatable seat booster for elevated seating, grab handle on both ends. There is additional storage space. Storage space in bow and stern with d rings for tying down dry bags.

Brand: Intex

👤I got this today and will take it on the maiden voyage tomorrow. I inflated it and deflated it to check it out. Inflation and deflation are very quick. 4 minutes to inflate and 4 minutes to deflate. The ability to deflate with the pump is amazing. The kayak seems very strong and tough. I will update this review after I get it in the water. This kayak was finally on the water. I kayaked on a calm lake and this kayak performed very well. I'm a very weak 55 year old woman with a bad back, so this is a good thing, I carried it fully inflated to the water by myself. I was very comfortable in the water. I'm 5'5" tall and have plenty of leg room. I took the foot rest out because it was uncomfortable. The kayak is designed to be a fisherman's kayak, so it has additional features like pole holders, a bar to hold a device and a phone pole. I like to paddle around and enjoy the lake, so I will probably never use these. So far, so good. If I have more to add, I'll update this review.

👤I'm 58 years old. 150 lbs. I have average strength and ability for my age. I wanted something I could catch in the kayak. This kayak was perfect for the bill. I took it out twice and had a great time. It takes a few minutes to set up and tear down. I can carry it for a short time. The build quality is very good. I was worried about fishing from an inflatable. The material is very strong and stable. It's the hardest thing to deal with because you have to dry and drain the water that gets in the channels below the floor. Storage and care are necessary to get the longest life out of your products. I don't do many reviews, but this one has been a great purchase and I'm very pleased with it. I can get off work and be on the water in less than an hour. I'm hoping to find a battery operated pump to use with this at some point, but it really takes little effort to inflate and deflate...I'm just a little lazy in my old age... I have no regrets about my purchase. In my limited experience, the kayak is great at this price point.

👤There was a puncture in the bottom. I was in the middle of the lake and the whole kayak started collapsing on me. I was under the water for 30 seconds before being picked up by a boat. I did further research and found a Chinese company with very cheap products that I highly recommend you not buy from. I haven't been able to use it because the pump is broken.

👤My wife got a kayak. I am very happy with this kayak so far. It was assembled and inflated. Light and smart design. I was able to adjust the seat and footrests to make it easier for her to reach the cell holder. I would not be comfortable in this kayak for a tall person. We will be putting it in the water next month, but so far we are very happy with the kayak.

5. Elkton Outdoors Cormorant Inflatable Aluminum

Elkton Outdoors Cormorant Inflatable Aluminum

It's perfect for swimming, surfing, water sports, beach sports, sailing, yoga, camping, fishing, diving, water aerobics sports. I rate it quickly. The full size kayak can be inflated in minutes from its small storage size. The dimensions of the kayak are118in. Kayak fishing will be more convenient because of the x 35in x 16in RUGGED & DURABLE- The tandem fishing kayak is made with rip resistant 1000D PVC and HOOK resistant so you don't have to worry about springing a leak when you are out on the lake. There are accessories included. Includes all the fishing kayak accessories you need to hit the water, including 2 seats, rod holders, double sided oars, and a carry bag. There is a great alternative to convention. The inflatable fishing kayak is a great alternative to a traditional kayak because it is lightweight and compact. It is easy to repair and adjust. Three separate air chambers allow for quick and simple adjustments.

Brand: Elkton Outdoors

👤I love this kayak. It is easy to handle. I was able to inflate it in less than 10 minutes. It handles well and the seats are adjusted for tall people. I had no issues with waves from motor boats. I gave this a four star instead of a five. Tow rope and glue are not included in the repair kit. This has recently changed. 2. There are no pockets or cup holders. Only have a bottle and not a can. I attached a clear plastic bag to the back of the seat with Velcro for $1 at walmart. 3. If you are short, get a cushion to raise you up. The placement of the rod holders can make rowing difficult. The floor air valve is very strong. The tab broke because it is very sturdy and tight. The valve is being replaced. 6. It might be a good idea to get a longer oar. The oar is fine if the boat is narrowed in the front. 7. Good luck getting the boat back. Still, it's enough to carry in the car. I have listed these items, but they are more for your consideration. If you want to feel safe on the lake, I recommend this boat. I would be able to take this out by myself and use it all summer long. Happy Kayaking!

👤I have learned the proper way to inflate it after taking it out once. It wasn't as comfortable as it could have been since it was under inflated. I believe my second voyage will be what I've been looking for since I have the pressure gauge locked in and I can use it. When you go out into the water, make sure the bottom front valve is shut because it will be wet. I will be very pleased with my second and many other times this summer on various lakes in my area because these are just things to learn how to modify. I can see that the fabric will hold up for many seasons, and I'm especially impressed with the quality of it. The fishing pole holder to my left seemed to get in the way of my paddling, but I found it to be annoying. With proper inflation the next time, it might not make me aware of itself. The mesh storage compartment in the rear and the roominess on the floor are what I like the most. I can carry a lot of extras and not feel cramped.

👤I was hesitant in buying this product, but it has exceeded my expectations. It's very easy to inflate one and you can do it in a day or two. It is well made and durable. Make sure you bring your pump. Thank you, God, we did. One of the sides leaked air. We realized we didn't tighten the valve enough. I like to paddle with inflatable kayak cushions under me. I bought them for like 11. Lifting you makesaddling easier. I hope it lasts.

👤The first outing went well. The product didn't have an instruction manual in it. Don't scrutinize these often. It could have been useful for deflating the kayak. Reviewers who suggested a cushion under the seat were correct. The 250 cm paddles we ordered helped, but the shorter the paddles, the harder it is to get an efficient stroke. The seats are good. The supplied paddles do a good job of breaking down for storage, but the paddles themselves screw onto the bar with a collar, so water collects in that, and so with every stroke you get a spray as the paddle comes out. The paddles we ordered broke into 2 poles and there was no spray on them. The kayak seemed stable despite the chop of the water, we were happy and didn't feel unstable even with a few small wakes from boats. Reviewers agree that the valve for the floor is just a large beach-ball type, and that we hope it will stand repeated use and tear away. Will use again camping this weekend so at this point, happiness would be a "5" but will wait on durability and to see if the staff at Elkton answer a question on folding the kayak given the bottom has 2 harder rubber spines that would be hard to avoid.

6. Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2 Person Fishing

Sevylor Coleman Colorado 2 Person Fishing

No-fail push-button take down allow blades to be feathered at 60-degrees or set inline for right or left-handed control. The 18-gauge construction is NMMA certified. The 1000D tarpaulin bottom and the 840D nylon cover provide protection from punctures. If one of the air chambers is punctured, another chamber can stay inflated. The Berkley Quick Set Rod Holders can be adjusted for enhanced hands-free fishing. You can expand your fishing capabilities with the seferylor trolling motor fittings. The paddle holders keep your paddles out of the way. Boston Valve is double threaded for easy inflation.

Brand: Sevylor

👤The overall experience starts as positive as possible, as this looks very good, can be packed in a trunk, and launched anywhere. I owned a boat for about a year and had a lot of fun. Time comes by. After one year, the chambers started to change shape. The geometry of the boat is very different from the original and I can only go on a lake with properly inflated chambers for about an hour. One may think that buying new chambers is the easiest way to solve the problem. However, the response from the customer service at Sevylor was that they don't sell such chambers. They didn't give me an answer on how to fix the boat for a reasonable price. I need to throw the boat away after 2 years of use. Which would be acceptable for a boat of less than $400. Maybe it's me who has this defect. The customer service didn't give me any other options, but to buy a new boat. I don't think buying one on this price is acceptable.

👤Super portable, easy to carry, fits in trunk, and is easy to carry like a backpack. The room is very roomy. It's easy to fit me and two of my kids. The person is old. Seatback pockets are great for snacks and drinks. Even with my two kids and a strong current, I never felt like we were going to get close to tipping. The floor and sides are high. You stay nice and dry. + It is easy to carry alone using the middle handles, or in front and back using the handles on each end. The trakcing fin does help, but it could be better. Documentation and Instructions were not very helpful. Remember to attach the tracking fin before you inflate the kayak, and get a good pump, but an air pump is not included. I use a portable compressor that does high volume on one side, and high pressure on the other, and uses the same rechargable battery as my drill/ tools. I always open it when I get home and let it sit out in the sun for a few hours before I store it for a long time.

👤I wanted to like this kayak. It looks really nice and performs well the first time out, but after a few use, the valves are leaking and the bottom is so bent that it is difficult to move through the water. I had high hopes, but unfortunately those same issues happened to me as well. Another issue is hitting the rod holders while paddling. I unstitched and removed my fingernails after they were damaged. Coleman's will be replacing the kayak after responding to my issues very promptly. The Customer Support was excellent. If the new one performs like this one did the first few times out, I would have to say that I like the kayak. I will update this review after I take the new one out 5 or 6 times and see how it holds up. I hope the first one was a mistake. Coleman's credit they promptly shipped out a replacement kayak. My excitement did not last long. After paddling across the pond, I noticed that I was listing to the right. I didn't think much of it until I noticed the water coming up to the seat. I was getting wet. I paddled a heavy kayak back to shore. I looked at the bottom after draining the water. The source of the water was found along the right side rear. I blew it up on a grassy area, and launched it into the water, because it was a manufacturing defect. I didn't go close to shore or any other obstacles. I'm very disappointed that the second one also had issues, however I'm hoping Coleman will send another and the 3rd time will be a charm. I have reduced my rating to 2 and will not make a decision until I receive the replacement and can properly test it again. Losing faith in this product quickly. The kayak was replaced today. They opened and inspected the item before they shipped it. I appreciated the extra effort to make sure I didn't get another bad one. This one was perfect. Coleman customer service is great. Haley K. helped me through this whole thing to make sure I got a perfect kayak. Coleman provides excellent customer service and my bad luck resulted in a couple of issues. They will make sure you are happy.

Explorer k2 is made for smaller bodies of water.

Brand: Intex

👤We are experienced Kayakers who have other hard sit on top and sit in kayaks. This was the first inflatable we had. Our purchase turned out to be a great one. We use it because we don't have to carry our expensive kayaks on our vehicle for hundreds or thousands of miles, and worry about them being stolen when we camp. We have used the Intex Explorer on the ocean inlet canals and it works great. The water is smooth. Our limit is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before we feel cramped and need to take a break. I am 6'8" and my wife is 5'8". The kayak is short for two people, but anything longer is more money and we make due. The Explorer K2 tracks well when using good paddling technique. It tracks very straight when we paddle hard and fast. The rear will start to swing out when it stops paddling. It's not a big deal. The materials seem to be durable. The only things we would like to change are the inflation valves on the floor and the front and rear bow and stern covers. The cheap flip out valves are used on inflatable pool toys. The nice valves that don't let air escape when you pull the air pump out are the ones that inflate the sides. Again, for the price point, we think they have to cut corners somewhere. This is an amazing value for the money. deflation is even quicker with set up and inflation using the included pump. We may upgrade to a longer inflatable kayak at some point if we start using the Intex more and more. We would buy it today if it was made by Intex. The Explorer K2 is a good way to go if you want the convenience of a kayak, and you want to save money. Click Yes if you found this review helpful. Thanks a lot, Willy C.

👤I inflated it in my living room, but there wasn't a stream or a river in the box. I think I have to add my own. I tried to put it in the bathtub, but it wasn't big enough. I tripped over an oar and pulled my shower curtain down. I hit my head on the side of the kayak, which was good. I couldn't get out of the tub because my legs were stuck in the shower curtain and the kayak was on top of me. My dog licked my face after he thought it was funny. I turned on the shower when I grabbed for something. I pretended my lawn was a level 4 white waters thing after I got the bathroom aired out. The sprinklers were activated in the middle of it all. The dog jumped on me again. I strapped the thing to the top of my car and drove to the nearest mountain stream. The kayak was both inflatable and deflatable. The wind was trying to pull the kayak up off the car, but I tied it tight so it wouldn't move. It's a bad thing on mountain roads. The car went off the side and rolled over, landing on its top in a mountain stream. We floated all the way back down through Golden, past the Coors factory, and out the east side of Denver, after the car upside down on the kayak and the mess in the stream. The car was totaled. The kayak was great. I think it's a good idea. Make sure you deflate the mountain stream before tying it to the top of your car.

👤The water bike is very fast and works well. It's a great way to spend a sunny day at the lake, and the bike is easy to use. Everyone wants to try it in the Wilderness Lake Inari up North.

👤If I needed an anchor for my kayak, I was on the fence. This is perfect and I needed it. It was easy to use. It can be used to almost anything.

👤I can tell this will work because I grabbed a tree branch in the yard and put some weight on it. It's well built and the powder coating looks good. There's plenty of cord included and the instructions for the route were easy to understand. It should be able to take a beating.

👤Well made and priced. If they can come up with a replacement anchor for deep water.

👤An addition to my kayak. It was easy to set up.

👤Great product! The grip is perfect for kayaking. The package was on time. If I drop it, I won't lose orange.

👤If you anchor it to something that will hold you, this item will be better.

👤The packaging was well packaged. The anchor is very well made. The plastic isn't feeling bad.

👤It's so perfect! It feels strong and durable.

Brand: Elkton Outdoors

👤The kayak is very stable. I have tried several inflatable kayaks that were not comfortable. I needed a kayak with a leg room. The kayak has a lot of leg room. There is a lot of storage for my stuff. I need to get myself a gel seat cushion as my butt goes to sleep after a couple hours. It deflates and packs up into a small package. As I pull a 5th wheel RV, space is critical. The center bladder is completely removed and the drain plugs are easy to use. I just spent 8 days kayaking in submerged timber and rocky shorelines. There were many bumps into the object and not one mark to show for it. I think this is a very good deal as I will get many years of use out of it.

👤There are places where you can add accessories. There are no accessories supplied by Elkton. I ordered a fishing rod holder but they gave me pointed screws for the inflatable kayak. Not relevant. There is a cup holder for sale. It doesn't fit. Support and sell the accessories to fulfill the potential of the kayak. Don't give it to someone who doesn't know anything about the kayak.

👤I spent a lot of time researching the various brands, pricing, comparing, etc., and while this one was on the more expensive side, it is exactly what I was looking for. Within a few days of ordering, I received it in a remote location, and from opening the box to assembly, inflation, and packing my goodies for the first use took less than 20 minutes. The kayak is sturdy and has all the space I need for carrying things for fishing, just for fun, or taking the family pet for a ride on the water. Very well done to the manufacturer. I don't think I could recommend this product any higher. If you're looking for a multi-purpose inflatable kayak, spend a little extra and get one you'll always be happy to take out on the water.

👤Despite the limited number of reviews, I decided to go with the inflatable fishing kayaks because of their large floor and ability to stand two people. It was great on the first try. Definitely met my expectations. The manual didn't give an explanation for how to use the hard mounting points. I bought a generic scotty mount from bass pro shop which fit perfectly, but the screws pierced the bottom of the kayak rendering it flaccid after being removed. The depth of the screw holes without a mount is 1/6th of an inch. The scotty mount makes it 5/8th inch deep. I spoke with customer service from Elkton and they were very helpful. They sent me a new kayak because it must have been a manufacturing defect. It's hard to find a company that seems to care about their product. Email confirmations were sent after they called. I would buy all of their products because of their excellent customer service. The manual for the kayak didn't have much explanation beyond how to inflate and deflate, so you might have to double check some aspects of the kayak yourself.

11. LOBOTOU Inflatable Thickened Separate Chambers

LOBOTOU Inflatable Thickened Separate Chambers

There are more than 15,000 Oru Kayaks out on the water and they have been featured on Shark Tank, Forbes, CNN, Wall Street Journal, and Oprah Magazine. The inflatable boat is great for boating or fishing with friends, it has a max load of 700 lbs. Fishing have never been easier with the 2 built-in fishing rod holders. If one of the air chambers is damaged, the other will not be affected, but it can still reach the shore. The bottom plate added nylon wire, it is more stable when standing inside the boat, and the bottom plate also serves as a stabilizer. The air plug must be deflated when leaving the factory in order to facilitate packaging folding, and the boat before inflatable must press the center of the high pressure valve spring rod to the left to confirm the spring rod has popped up.

Brand: Lobotou

👤Once you figure out how to air it up, it's a good little boat. The instructions to air up the boat don't mention the foot pump. It's impossible to use a portable compressor with this one because it's threaded on the pump end. There is a small compressor that comes with the boat, but no way to install a threaded end. You can only use the foot pump if the fill ports require the nozzle on the foot pump. The threaded tube cannot be removed for the foot pump. The boat is good but it is difficult to air it up.

👤It was difficult to get into but it was easy to inflate. One person on the boat didn't try two and the boat didn't seem strong.
